Pros: Location was great - it was easy to walk everywhere.
Cons: It was quite warm and opening the window wasn’t an option given the noise from the station. Also, the beds weren’t made up in the same way - one had a duvet insert and the other didn’t. If it had been cooler I would’ve expected inserts for both.
Cons: Next to train station and a little noise as trains came and went.
Pros: The host was incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful! Wonderful mostly locally-produced and homemade breakfast. Good value and located right by the train station.
Cons: The room was a little small but fine for me. Only issue was that the walls were a little thin. Could hear neighboring room's TV through the wall.
Pros: Charming B&B with very kind and helpful hosts. The rooms were nice, the beds comfortable and the breakfast good with local products. I would return!
Pros: Easy accessible, clean, modern and very friendly staff and owners.
Pros: Nice people, nice and clean room, good breakfast

Pros: Friendly hosts and beautiful location. Felt like home away from home.
Cons: All perfect! Thank you for the extra attention for making me a sandwich and breakfast in my room.
Pros: Everything, it was all just perfect! There is also an excellent restaurant. The hotel and the restaurant are both run by the owners. There is a very pleasant atmosphere, much better that the "cold and aseptic" that is normally found in big-chain hotels. I personally enjoyed chatting with the owner during breakfast time. Also, they out in any effort to take care of my requests. Looking forward to come back with my family for a holiday! I love this part of Switzerland.
Cons: Nothing. Reaching this place with public transportation , which is what I did, could be a bit challenging. However, if you use the SSB site you will discover that there are very convenient connections from Peyrenne, Friburgh and Avanches.
Pros: Not far away from Avenches. Nice staff, enough parking places.
Cons: The mattress could be better.
Pros: Charming auberge with charming hosts - welcoming and attentive. Cuisine is based on local produce and good taste. The chef is excellent, whether for main meals or to prépare a delicious breakfast omelette.
Cons: There was no fault in the service, accommodation or site. Only positive recommandations to make.
Pros: Friendly efficient staff, free high speed internet, included breakfast, excellent world class restaurant, quiet, clean, large rooms with decent size flat screen TV.. Small easy going Boutique family run hotel. Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful surrounding countryside.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Pros: Well maintained, historical site
Pros: Murten is quaint, laid back, idyllic, quiet, just a perfect little town to visit. The Hotel Murtenhof/Krone is part of that special ambiance. We were upgraded to a fabulous period decorated room with a balcony overlooking Lake Murten. It couldn’t have been nicer. The breakfast was buffet style and quite ample. Staff were polite and friendly with smiles and greetings. We can truly say that this place was our favorite on our month long trip to Switzerland.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.

Cons: Nothing! It was great.
Visitors to Misery-Courtion will find that the Le Relais du Château Monney is a fantastic accommodation choice. For those who require internet access, the property features Wi-Fi in designated areas. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent.
Cons: The name is totally misleading. This place has nothing to do with the relais chateau chain
When you stay at Hotel Restaurant Cave Bel Air in Bas-Vully, you'll be steps from Lac de Morat. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Good diner (but costly).
Cons: Avoid room 24. It is on the lake side, but at less than 1m from the window, there is a wall of 1.5 to 1.7m high blocking the sight and you don't have a terras like the other lake side rooms. Only if you stand up you can see a glimpse of the lake. I confronted the personnel with this when I went to pay, stating that room 24 should not be priced as high as the other lake side rooms. They acknowledged there was a 'problem' with that room but I still had to pay the full 'lake side' rate. Breakfast was really basic.
Pros: Lovely lakeside hotel with great restaurant and food. Really enjoyed the wine from their own vineyards. Only an average breakfast though and out of date yogurt, quickly resolved when pointed out.
Pros: Great location - by the lake.
Cons: Check out could be faster.
Pros: The room was very comfortable and quiet, except for the evenings when the restaurant below us was very busy. The view over the lake is absolutely stunning. The surrounding are great to explore (vineyards, lake, close to Murten).
Cons: Wifi in the room worked only when the TV was on at the same time! Breakfast was good, but the choice was rather limited with little fresh fruits in the middle of the summer. We stayed 2 nights. One day was the restaurant's day off so the breakfast choice and service was limited anyway. On the second morning, they ran out of croissants and pain au chocolat half an hour after breakfast time had started!
Pros: The hotel location is second to none on the lakeside. Very close to the pier of the boats on the lake. The food was excellent as was the wine
Cons: The bedroom was very small and hot but they did provide us with a fan which helped.
Pros: Great vineyard walk and gardens.

Pros: Location! Beautiful Schloss on a huge piece of land. Good dinner and breakfast. staff is very friendly and happy, make you feel comfortable. The hotel room in the separate building is very basic but functional. Price / quality level is good
Pros: Fantastic grounds, clean room, comfortable bed, polite staff, excellent breakfast. 10/10. Very good price when compared to other hotels, Schloss Münchenwiler is of a higher standard.
Cons: It came as a surprise that the overnight parking was extra.
Pros: architecture Of the building is amazing, garden is beautiful and I had a very nice dinner at the restaurant. Room in the next building is not special but price you paid quality you got is good I believe rooms in main building are nicer
Cons: The note in the bathroom asking from guest to clean face with grey towel instead of white one because of make up, feel me like towels not cleaned well. I checked from translator because nothing written English, if I did mistake to interpret sorry
Pros: the waiters are the most nice, funny and helpful staff
Cons: rooms are too small
Housed in a historic building first mentioned in 1396, where such famous people as Casanova and Goethe once stayed, the Hotel Adler enjoys a central location in the Old Town of Murten. Free WiFi is available. Every room in the Adler Hotel is unique. They all offer cable TV. The ship pier on Lake Murten is only 200 metres away.
Pros: - Lovely building - Excellent location - Staff very friendly
Cons: - Breakfast is not available on site I did not spot this at the time of booking. - Tea room suggested few meters away. - Did not realise there was no air con and the hotel is on top of a pub with a terrasse hence noisy when trying to sleep with windows opened. Also the beds had a waterproof protection underneath the sheets making it even warmer.
Pros: Nice big clean room. One of the best i’ve Ever had for the rate that I paid
Cons: Took a little too long to checkin
Pros: Great location in the old town. Nice restaurant downstairs.

Pros: the location
Cons: without a/c
Pros: It was right on the lake and a 10 minute walk to the old town.
Cons: Two restaurants are on property and it was very noisy.. People were outside till midnight. It was a warm night so we had to leave windows open.
Cons: Excellent lake view. The food was really delicious. Staff was really nice. Location is fantastic. Just take a stroll along the lake to the really nice village Murten.
Pros: Totally superb location right on the lake... they have many types of paddle boards to borrow which was wonderful... Staff were charming and very helpful... Breakfasts in the courtyard were perfect as was the food in the restaurant...
Cons: Afternoon siestas were slightly noisy! Rooms not that soundproofed especially to the main corridor....
Pros: Phantastic location at the lakeside
Pros: We have booked an apartment for our family, and it was confirmed by the booking. However day later hotel called us and informed about double booking. However they promised us a room, where two beds to accommodate kids will be prepared and it will be cheaper. So we were no worried. At eh end it was much better, since room was with garden entrance an d direct access to lake. Stuff was very friendly. Restaurant is good, but more on expensive side.
Cons: Rooms a bit dated, but however clean. Breakfast has no sweets like cakes or similar, only croissants. Selection of cheese are good.

Pros: Hotel is close to the city center and to the lake. Lots of restaurants around, Parking was free.
Pros: Great location. Right next to the entrance to old town. Easy access to everything both in old town and down to the waterfront nearby. Very accessible and easy to identify as it is on main route into Murten. Parking readily available. Hotel itself is on the modern side but clean, neat and staff excellent. Bar area great for snacks and drinks with good food selection. Recommended.
Cons: Nothing of any significance.
Pros: Good location, good WiFi, comfortable bed, good shower, free parking, nice restaurant and bar.
Cons: Breakfast a bit limited
Pros: Super friendly staff. Lots of free water.
Cons: Noisy street. Garbage bins on breakfast tables should be a no go for hotels in that price category. There are better means to reduce garbage from jam, butter, etc.
Pros: breakfast was good, location in the town and proximity to the lake were excellent, property was modern. close to everything.
Cons: room could have been bigger, the beds could have been more comfortable.
Pros: Good location, close to the town and the lake. Good restaurant with very nice and friendly staff. There also are two supermarkets close by (just about 2 min walk down the road).
Cons: Room was small, but had everything needed. The hotel is conveniently located when arriving by car. Drawback is that the road tended to be a bit noisy, but not bad. Quiet during the night.

Pros: Staff super friendly. Communication super easy. Excellent location.
Cons: Not much light in the room.
Pros: The lake view was magnificent. The room was simple but had all the facilities needed.
Cons: When you have your phone or computer to plug, not a lot of plugs in the room.
Pros: Excellent location with a view of the lake and near the restaurants.
Cons: The reception works only from 8 a.m. till 7 p.m., which is very strange, so when you need to pay, as was the case with me, a waitress that was serving breakfast had to come and carry out the payment.
Pros: Great place in very nice location. Comfortable bed, nice view on the lake and very quiet rooms.
Cons: Missed some fresh cut fruit and decent joghurt on BF other than that, it was good.
Pros: We loved the location and staff was very friendly
Cons: The pillows were terrible! Better to not use any. The shower head was a disaster! It should be stationary on the wall. The bathroom was completely drenched at the end!
Pros: Superb view of lake. Quiet room well sound insulated. Large room plenty of space and well furnished. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff. A few minutes walk into the old city with a range of restaurants. Easy access to motorway, Bern, Soluthorn, Neuchatel, and also to cycling and walking.
Pros: Great location with lovely views of the lake on a sunny morning. Very close to many pleasant restaurants. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was the usual continental fare but perfectly OK. Managed to get a parking spot for free but a pay car park is next door if they are full. Good wifi.
Cons: The portable aircon unit was loud and fairly useless. Desk not set up to work from and the shower over the bath with a shower curtain is always annoying.

Pros: Super clean and spacious room. Towels were impressively white! Breakfast was good and pool was of great size! Fantastic space for kids.
Cons: Room was too warm in the evening (after a hot day) - an AC would have been great.
With a stay at Hotel de la Gare in Bas-Vully, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Lake Biel and Lac de Morat. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Room was Ok, clean and as expected.
Cons: Bar, restaurant and main hotel was closed. This wasn't obvious when booking. Basically just a room for the night which was over priced massively.
Pros: Beds were okay and the bathroom nice and modern.
Cons: The owner wasn’t there when we arrived, had to phone him and retrieve the room keys from a box even though we arrived exactly when I said we would. I think when you’re paying this kind of money for a room someone should be there to great you. The shower wasn’t very powerful. We only saw him in the morning when paying for the room. I should have looked at the position more before I booked, nothing really around so went to another town, Murten, to eat supper. They were having a festival so it worked out ok
Pros: Location convenient for my scope
Cons: Combination of restaurant, hotel rooms
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: Not a good value for money. There are better options around. Breakfast could be better. My room faced backyard with a lot of clutter - not nice to look at....
Pros: Staying here was a happy accident, we asked for a room near the train station in Murten and got Hotel de la Gare but failed to notice that Sugiez is the NEXT train stop past Murten. There was a Murten Hotel de la Gare but it was closed....hmmm. the train agent helped us figure it out, we hopped back on and found this WONDERFUL place and little whistle stop that is full of amazing art all over the streets (check out the dragon by the Harley Davidson shop). The hotel is very nice and full of art as well, has a great bar and restaurant, and is just a hop and a skip from the train station. Get lost, stop in Sugiez and commute to Murten which is, by the way, amazing.
Cons: Nothing could have pleased me more, coming from a small artsy town in the USA, than to end up in a small, artsy town in Switzerland which is off the beaten tourist track with friendly locals.
Pros: Lovely place and the staff is super friendly! Very clean room. Thank you for the great hangover breakfast even at 12am! :)
Pros: Quiet, despite being near the station, new or newly refurbished room & bathroom, ample parking
Cons: Don't like the sliding door to the bathroom that doesn't really close so lacks privacy
