9.6 Excellent
Pros: The View and the sense of privacy: the staff were discreet and we felt allowed to have our own space. The late checkin worked well for us due to work commitments we had to arrive late but that was no problem with the staff. Also we noticed - even though we didn't use it that folks could have food deliveries that we were not inconvenienced by their food coming at what ever hour. The billiards table was a nice touch. The provision of local amenities and maps were something which we used. Excellent - we'd stay again and recommend to our friends.
Cons: The central heating we could only work out by the time we left -having said this we were not massively inconvenienced and our room was always warm. We loved the breakfasts - please don't change those.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was cosy and they had lots of little details that made it an amazing stay.
Cons: Nothing I thought it was lovely.

Pros: We found the location convenient and were delighted with the view of the Blue Mountains and beyond. Even though it was a chilly morning, we ate breakfast on the balcony as our friend from Japan wanted to enjoy not only the view but also the freshness of the air. The loft room we booked was very clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast perfect for a day's bushwalking.
Cons: If the fire in the guest lounge had been lit, the atmosphere would have been even more welcoming.

Having breakfast overlooking the mountains felt like such a treat, we couldn't have asked for a better way to experience the region with this hotel as our base. The hotel is a short walk to a variety of bushwalking trails suited for all abilities - the wentworth falls and under cliff/over cliff trail loop is something special! Also just a short drive to Scenic World and Leura. If you are visiting the area this is a perfect place to stay.

Pros: This must be the best place to stay in Katoomba and not just because of the location, right in front of Echo Point. A beautiful, well kept, 1920's house, very comfortable and clean room. good breakfast and warm welcome from Veronica. Highly recommended. Shaun and Erika.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There were lots of little extras (freshly baked cookies, wine and chocolates in the room) which elevated this above many boutique b&b’s we have stayed at.
Cons: The bathroom was very cold. While the bed was very comfortable, the bedding was extremely heavy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the second we walked in to the gorgeous Windradyne Boutique Bed & Breakfast, we knew it was going to be a very special place. Located in the best place in Katoomba overlooking Echo Point and the Three Sisters, the views out of the windows were glorious. Gorgeous furnishings, lovely bedding and towels and such great hospitality! Full delicious breakfasts every morning, cooked to order and sweet treats in the afternoon as well as complimentary port in the evenings. Veronica is the perfect host and went out of her way to help, when I had a customer in a restaurant nearby spill blue cheese sauce all over the back of my coat. Veronica took it away and washed it and was ready the next morning. Thank you! Just a note that the Gunnedoo suite is located upstairs and is not suitable if you have issues with climbing stairs.

Pros: This is a MUST STAY! We stayed for 1-night in the family suite and it was so comfy. I wish would could have stayed longer. we arrived a bit early and were greeted by Paul. Paul was still getting our suite ready and suggested we go down to the corner grab something to eat and come back and we would check us in; while leaving our bags. When we returned the suite was ready and our luggage was placed in the suite. The fridge and cabinet were already stocked with our breakfast selections. Fresh fruits, cereals, bread, OJ, water, coffee and tea. The suite looks like a picture perfect little cottage and was just so cozy. Paul was able to get us reservations at "PINS" for our Thanksgiving dinner; which, is literally across the street. BEST MEAL EVER and the price was shockingly lower than expected!!! A must experience! The Scotch Steak, Lamb Meatballs & Spaghetti and Kangaroo were just amazing.Whatever you decide to eat ask the for beer/wine recommendations and they will glad make suggestions. The following morning we had to check out and Jenny & Paul held our luggage so we could do a couple more hikes before catching our train and offered to drive us to the train station when we arrive back as the Blue Mountain Hopper was stopped for their lunch break. Although we were left alone and had limited interactions with Jenny & Paul the whole experience was so relaxing and well worth doing! Jenny & Paul are amazing people and we thank them for such a wonderful and relaxing stay!!!
Cons: The only downside to this part of our trip was that we only stayed 1-night :( If possible stay at least 2-nights.

Cons: Nothing negative to say.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent for the 3 Sisters, Katoomba, and surrounding Blue Mountains region. Breakfast was lovely as were all the little touches - biscuits in our room, home made muffins on our return in the evening, and so much more. Jenny and Paul made us feel very welcome from the get go and the rooms set up with a gorgeous sitting room in front of the fire, and a comfortable bed is superb. The whole BnB was very atmospheric and so inviting. We will definitely stay again our next visit to the Blue Mountains. Highly recommend this wonderful cottage feel BnB - 11 out of 10 :-)

Pros: Nothing not to love.
7.9 Good
Pros: All inclusive stay - beverages, mini bar included. Good getaway for the weekend. Lovely fireplace. Staff very lovely. And good location overlooking the mountains.
Cons: Enscarpment suite bath tub we got wasn’t a free standing bath tub as shown on the website. The bathroom overlooked the mountains, but it wasn’t that private as two couple walked down the track and can see right in our balcony / bathroom.
6.7 Good
Pros: Charlotte was exceptionally hospitable and welcoming. Fireplaces and serenity were romantic. Food was lovely.
Cons: Mid way through dinner our water went from sparkling to still, rather than apologising staff just said they “ran out”. Toilets by the restaurant were blocked and unusable, and the bathroom taps ran out of running water to wash your hands. A young couple at the table beside us were video calling their friends on speaker mid quiet romantic dinner... then drank way too much and began calling each other every curse word under the son and started a loud and uncomfortable domestic argument. Air con in the rooms did not have a remote control - mid night we woke up in a sweat because we could not turn the fireplace off (as instructions on arrival were inaccurate - annoying at 2am - and without reception staff there was no way of getting a remote to assist with temperature control. A couple of spiders in the room. The same couple had a domestic early AM hours which woke us up.... screeching of tires and a loud “F*** you” and the like was heard. We were told the television wouldn’t show Netflix as it is not a smart tv, but when you turn it on it says “smart tv”... not a big deal but we were told connecting phones would help and it did not.

Pros: Great location, beautifully presented property with classic style and comfort.
Cons: Minor - advise weekend guests that the Lillianfels hatted restaurant is closed on Sun & Mon and suggest that they book ahead for this experience.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good facilities and nice and clean
Cons: The noise from the train line close by was a bit excessive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Big spacious comfortable
Cons: Bit noisy, but not too bad. Was right out front of the station. Plus, no lower floor given.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff...
Cons: Would like to see Value suites Penrith have the ability to be able send after hours instruction to mobile, instead of email as I don't have an email linked to my phone, therefore we had to make a special trip to pick up key which was inconvenient but no other solution , would have been even better stay if this had not happened...
7.9 Good
Pros: older lady from reception as she was very beautiful , friendly And helpful
Cons: Staff walked into room at 9 am before check out without even knocking then walked out they didn’t even say anything very rude considering someone could’ve been getting dressed then half an hour later lady from front reception was knocking at the door asking when I was going so they could clean the room still wasn’t even check out time felt very rushed to leave property.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: breakfast adequate having a snack and drink in lounge comfortable bed and room great location
Cons: no clothes hooks in bathroom. no toilet brush
5.0 Okay
Pros: Providing me with early check-in was greatly appreciated, the breakfast inclusion is very good, view from my room on the second floor was wonderful, access to daily newspapers appreciated and grand old hotel which would better suit travellers than those on business trips.
Cons: WIFI was on-existent in my room on the 2nd floor, being forced to pay for a pot of tea at the bar when all I was after were some tea-bags (poor form) and the heating is a problem - centrally controlled on the first floor room during my first stay made it too warm and unmanageable and then too cold during my second stay on the second floor when I arrived, was fine once I cranked up the thermostat. And no room service? Hmmm, why have a menu in the room then?
6.7 Good
Pros: Old world charm. Well renovated.
Cons: Main restaurant closed. Limited alternative choices.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very nice and comfortable place
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old fashioned hotel, in an excellent location, right in the Main Street and right across the road from the Hop on Hop off Bus.
Cons: No fly screen on the windows, took a long time for hot water to come through.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was too hot but I open the window It was beautiful had a great stay and am excited to come back I loved the furniture and the bathroom was clean user friendly I would love to stay longer
Cons: Nothing I would have like my partner arrive but was alone
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The evening meal was excellent, the staff were very attentive. The “old” feel of the place was quaint.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We just loved the Art Deco lights and accoutrements, beautiful Grand Dining Room and the various lounges in which to luxuriate for the weekend. Great drinks on offer too, we particularly enjoyed the Great Western Golden Ale. Cocktails looked good but we didn't indulge. Good location, just near the station but no noise from the railway and just outside the door is the main street of Katoomba and the Paragon Cafe, oldest cafe in Australia I'm told.
Cons: Creaking floorboards! Shower was over the bathtub, not a shower stall.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent croissants and bedding
Cons: Nothing
4.0 Okay
Pros: The negatives far outweighed any positives.
Cons: The 4 star rating and high price did not reflect the quality of service, room comfort and amenities offered. Our anniversary was ruined by an unfriendly check in experience, a room where 2 single beds were pushed together (which moved apart through the night) and the rattling window which allowed the cold wind to whistle through all night. The restaurant was not operational so we went to bed without any dinner, bad weather preventing us from going out anywhere. We had planned for a warm, comfortable hotel experience and paid for one, but didn't receive it. The breakfast was a cheap and poor quality spread, no hot food option. Our weekend away was ruined and I was left with a head cold. When we attempted to voice our displeasure to the morning receptionist, we were told that this was a heritage listed building and therefore implying that it was justified to charge $300.00 per night for what is essentially a 3 star quality stay. My parkinsonian tremor was viewed by both receptionists with disdain, adding to my feeling of extreme discomfort. A horrible weekend and we would never stay there again. Shame on the Carrington.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The ambiance was fantastic. You could imagine what it was like in the early 1900’s. The history was well documented in the period furniture, the stained glass windows, furnishings, the quaint elevator and the overall feel of the place
Cons: Shared bathrooms were not expected, however I missed seeing that when I booked the room. Unfortunately the ladies was closed for renovations so all the women had to use the male bathroom. Didn’t feel very comfortable having to do that especially as we are older ladies. We had twin beds and they were so uncomfortable. The edges were very hard, even with the mattress topper it didn’t make one bit of difference to the comfort aspect. I last stayed at The Carrington 50 years ago on a school excursion. However, Unless they got new beds I wouldn’t stay there again.

Pros: Terrific location so you could walk to the Three Sisters without paying parking and also excellent RSL in the same road for a top meal. The room had plenty of space for both our cases and all the facilities you need. The owner, Stephen, did everything to make us welcome. He remembered that our next stop was Canberra, so when I handed the key in he gave me a printout of several routes we could choose from. Service at its best.
Cons: The pillows were maybe a tad hard for me, but this was a mere bagatelle.

Pros: The Owners Geoff and Daphne made you feel right at home. The suite was very large and comfortable. It's in a residential area at the end of a culdesac, so it's very quiet.
Cons: You do have to cook your own breakfast but we didn't mind
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The serenity and privacy of the accommodation. Great shower and bath
Cons: No faults really only the smoke detector went off a couple of times due to the open fire not sure how to fix that when you have a fire place as there wasn’t excess smoke.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our experience with Jeff was very pleasant . The check in was quite late (10 p.m.), but he waited for us with a smile on his face and greeted us and showed us around explaining everything to us. Furthermore, he told us to call him whenever we needed assistance. The fireplace was cozy and warm, and the whole place had an antique vibe. The jacuzzi in the bathroom was a big plus as we don't seem to find it easily when booking in hotels or cottages..etc. Thank you Jeff for the great experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: we appreciated to so much all the little details you though about and all little and very attentive touches all around the room. It was so lovely to spend evening next to the fire place and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. thank you so much we will definitely be back again.
Cons: it would have been better if we could have stayed longer! no complains at all
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Geoff and Daphne were great hosts.
Cons: Cooking our own breakfast meant limited interaction with the hosts and other guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of variety and plenty of it!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Rooms (yes rooms) were self contained and private. No shared or communal rooms. Own fire in the 'dtawing room'. Comfy bed. Breakfast goodies all provided. Cook your own. Suggest using the barbecue. Cheese and wine on arrival.
Cons: A little further out of Singleton than we thought. Too far out to walk to the village. Deck was very bouncy. A Kiwi would call it a Cave Creek deck. A bit dirty and dusty. The port bottle was dusty-mouldy at the spout. Yes, a port bottle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Romantic getaway, very peaceful with everything you need including breakfast, spa and open fire. Hosts went above and beyond.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast provisions so we could cook our own breakfast
Cons: Our garden suite was very dark, especially with 1 light blown in kitchen. Smoke from fireplace filled room.
