The location, the room, the facilities
Charming helpful staff and quite decent restaurant
The hotel was good except for the restaurant which served expensive fancy food in small portions without moe wholesome alternative, so once you have settled in you become a captive participent|
Friendliness and warmth of staff was exceptional from the start of our stay. Superb food using very local produce was a bonus for our time there.
friendliness off staff remote from everything, but depends what you wanna do
Nice small cosy hotel, with good food and facilities
excellent food and wine The room and the corrodor had a strange humid nasty odour when we arrived. After letting air in it dissepered.
Convenient location and friendly staff. Breakfast somewhat limited.
Faverges is a very nice small town just south of Lake Annecy. The hotel is on the main street, easy to find. Information on free parking was provided at the reception. Room is clean and simple, bathroom is very nice. Didn't tried breakfast: there is a very nice boulangerie about 50m away, so we had fresh croissant every morning.. Staff speaks good enough english. Rooms are a bit small (as usual in France). The hotel staff tend to be a bit informal. They help if you directly ask them, but are not too caring. Otherwise everything was fine.
Very welcoming, well positioned within the town, clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast too ! Yes - we would have liked to have stayed for longer than 1 night !
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming
Hotel was clean, staff were happy and helpfull, it was easy to find and in a great location
The hotel's location is very good, right in the centre of Faverges, just around an hour or so away from the La Plagne ski resort. Wifi connection is also included.
Very clean, very good in all aspects
Convenient location, helpful staff. Very pleasant stay..
was only to pass one night. but was very nice it needs a restaurant service for dinners
set in a quiet location also very well kept took my swimming shorts but was not allowed in pool, they only allow speedos, they should state this in the brochure, this is the only complaint, otherwise fantastic
Accomodation was excellent in this newly built residence. Views from balcony were stunning. Yes, hidden costs. Linnen was 50 euros and you had to pay for it to be cleaned at the end of the week, which cost another 50 euros for a two bedroom apartment. 15 euros for a one bedroom apartment. I would prefer that was made clear at the outset.
located in quiet countryside, while being close to Annecy lake and Alps. next time I'll book a larger apartment to avoid the sofa-bed. That's too much of a hassle
Good location but it could be a lot better if the management could get its act together. At check-in we were told credit card facilities were not operational and requested to pay cash up-front which was most inconvenient - we only had enough cash for a deposit and had to get more the next day to pay the bill. We were also required to pay extra for towels and bed linen which hadn't been mentioned when we made the booking. Reception was closed a lot of the time when one would have expected it to be open. The outdoor pool wasn't accessable a lot of the time and the indoor pool was empty. It's really not an hotel but rather a collection of short/medium stay apartments and rather unsuitable for the one/two night traveller. This should be made clear on the on-line booking details. All in all, an unsatisfactory visit.
Location Stayed in a studio for 4. No complaints with accomodation itself except having to either pay for cleaner on checking out or cleaning it yourself! One main problem - check in only available between 1500-1900h, it was actually almost 1600h when staff were available to check us in. If you arrive before these hours you will have a long wait as they dont answer the phone either!
Excellent location for reaching ski slopes and other tourist attractions.lots of beautiful scenery and walks. Not much to do at night
