There was a very warm welcome, very accommodating with local info on places to visit and eat. The breakfasts were fantastic with local produce, homemade smoked salmon, jam, honey. Its a family home, so comfortable and beautiful surroundings and so quiet. Would love to go again!
That we had to leave !
Bed comfortable. Food good. Satisfactory as basic b&b certainly not luxury as described.
Signage bad difficult to find. Room not serviced during stay - bed not made dirty tea cups and glasses, bathroom not cleaned etc. Unable to obtain clean cups or milk as no one was in. Cheap dirty kettle had to be plugged in on floor.
Ideal Country setting and far from any town. Nice and peaceful area. The house was a large Country house and very well furnished with some great period items. Horses in the grounds and eggs from the resident hens. The hosts were very nice and breakfast was excellent. Parking was ample in the driveway, just park anywhere you like.
Not much to criticize in this house. All very good.
