Pros: We had a lovely room in this 3 room b&b. The owner is very welcoming and helpful and does an excellent traditional French breakfast. Pros: No poblem
Cons: The weather
Pros: Arrived really late - they put together a fabulous "platter" of meats, cheeses, bread etc and some cold beers, for a notional sum, even though it was gone 11pm. Room was modern but very comfy, good shutters for the heat. Lovely people, too!
Cons: Nothing, really. We adored this place.
Pros: The hosts were lovely, the ambiance warm and welcoming, especially for dinner where everyone enjoyed each others company over a table of excellent food and wine. Marie is most welcoming, Laurent a superb cook. To be recommended - I will certainly use it again.
Cons: Can't think of anything negative. Everything was very good.
Pros: Marie was just the best person ever, she made us feel so welcome and together with Lauren gave us the perfect evening meal, with a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Thank you so much you are doing a fantastic job and should charge more for what you provide which is so much better than a B&B.

The place is absolutely lovely, cozy, very tasteful, quiet and comfortable. Special thanks for the delicious breakfast. Hope to come again soon!
Cons: We liked everything!
Pros: Owners could not have been more accommodating. We got the best night’s sleep for years because it’s so quiet there and the beds were so comfortable. A super restaurant was recommended and proved just as described. Breakfast was generous and excellent.
Cons: Despite what booking.com says, it’s not close to the A10. It’s about 10 km away, though it’s an easy drive with precious little traffic but along roads unlit at night so take it easy.
Cons: Bit hard to find, no facilities to eat/drink without a drive. Bit cold (bed especially)
When you stay at Hôtel Le Dauphin in Saint-Denis-de-l'Hôtel, you'll be 8 minutes by car from Loire Marine Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast very good selection of continental bits, cheese, ham, bread and the like. Across the car park to a cheap but superb cafe bar. Very good shower. Only a couple of minutes walk to the river or around the corner to the small supermarket and bakers. Cheap 24hr card only petrol station within two minutes drive (press "V" to confirm on machine and language changes to English).
Cons: Located on a busy road junction, traffic most of the night. No tea or coffee making equipment in the room
Pros: Friendly owner, place to lock up our bikes, great breakfast
Pros: First time back since the hotel changed its owner. Very pleasantly surprised by the improvments made. The beds are more comfy, finally a good showerhead in the shower and the breakfast room looks very friendly. The croissants are still some of the best I have ever eaten!
Cons: Eventhough the bathrooms are clean and very usuable, they are still a little dated.
Pros: A friendly welcome, a comfortable room and a nice dinner and breakfast- perfect!
Pros: Very pleasant small hotel in the centre of a village very close to the Loire. There was little noise from the roads and the next door pizzeria provided a good evening meal. The welcome we received from the English lady at check-in was great. Our room was clean and comfortable
Cons: Bathroom was a bit tired and dated. The significant drawback was the lack of power points - just one under the desk (not easy for charging multiple electronic devices!).
Pros: Very convenient location, friendly staff, good breakfast and clean room.
Cons: The rooms would benefit from an update
Pros: Super friendly host. Way above 2 star standard for all facilities. Excellent breakfast. Had a really nice feel about the whole place. Great location for walkers for the Loire.
Cons: Nothing really but an anti slip in the bath/shower would be safer.
Pros: Lady on the place very professional and friendly. Next time on the business trip again here for sure.
Pros: The owners are wonderful people, easy to deal with and extremely helpful. The owners remodeled the breakfast area themselves and it looks very nice. The breakfast was very satisfying and a good variety to choose from.
Cons: Can't really think of anything except maybe there was only one outlet to use and to access it you have to get on the floor to go under the work desk but other than that there wasn't anything I didn't like.
Pros: Very welcoming hostess. Great value budget hotel. Good location, restaurant next door and others a short walk away across the Loire. And riverside paths good for walking, running and cycling.

Pros: The location to the town and river was very convenient . The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We were lucky to have a triple room for two of us so it was very comfortable. Parking was very good and secure.
Cons: I would have liked coffee or tea making facilities in the room but the receptionist did make us a coffee on asking. Unfortunately the restaurant adjacent was closed for holidays so locating a restaurant each night was a little difficult.
Pros: The staff were great and could not have been more welcoming.
Pros: The room was very spacious, clean and welcoming. Strong free wifi. Good shower and bathroom. Very quiet. The one flat note was the lack of coffee/tea making facilities in the room. But we could serve ourselves coffee from the breakfast area and take it to the room - cost Euros 2.50 per cup, but it was good coffee.
Pros: Nice room, excellent location, parking
Cons: It was a party in the restaurant nearby till 2 am and the noise was terrible - it is not the fault of the hotel, but still - a blot on the landscape.
Pros: This hotel is well located, just on the edge of the town centre with secure parking and several restaurants and bars nearby. The room was spacious, light and airy
Pros: Spacious rooms, free parking for guests, very friendly lady at the reception who speaks a little bit of English.
Cons: Not much to do in chateauneuf itsself but good basecamp for discovering Loire area
Pros: Large comfortable room. Excellent location. Convenient parking. Wi-fi worked well. Very nice breakfast.
Pros: We chose this place as a transit stop on the way to the ocean coast. Hotel is comfortably located, with a walking distance to park, arboretum, and nice restaurants. It also has AC which was really helpful with the recent heat wave. The staff was very friendly and helpful in a most appreciated way, advising on where to go, which restaurant to chose etc. Hotel offers also a light, continental breakfast with great croissants. Private parking is available at the spot. Our dog was also welcomed.
Pros: Good breakfasts, very welcoming
Cons: All very good
Pros: Great central location, excellent restaurant next door, lovely park opposite, near shops. Secure parking. Helpful and friendly staff. Good, sound proof room with air con.
Cons: Shower cubicle was a bit old and stained but shower worked well.
With a stay at Hôtel la Capitainerie in Chateauneuf-sur-Loire, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Loire Marine Museum and Fleury Abbey. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Pretty looking hotel in a quaint town. Staff/manageress extremely helpful. All very clean. Perhaps on a different day our stay here would have been very different to the one we experienced.
Cons: Apparently on a Monday evening every restaurant within walking distance of the hotel is shut. We ended up having a kebab and then returned to the hotel for a drink only to find the bar was shut. It would have been nice if the hotel could at least provide sandwiches/ salads or snacks as there was nowhere else to eat and even kept the bar available for our use. The room was as hot as an oven! The manageress found two fans for us to use both were extremely noisy and one had to be turned off as it was like have a steam train running through the room! Consequently our sleep that night was disasterous!
Pros: We can't find anything other than the bed
Cons: Cold room, cold welcome, over priced , B and B not a hotel , not guest focused , dirty toilet seat despite sanitised strip on it .
Pros: Wonderful park and chateau just behind the hotel. The dog and I had a great walk before dinner. The owner fell in love with Marlowe (the pooch), and he looked very chipper. Si slipped him a croissant at breakfast.
Pros: Staff were kind and very helpful. Had a garage to store my bicycle so I didn’t have to worry about it. Room ha d a view of church across the street.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Pros: Very friendly lady owner with more English than I have French ! Right in the centre of town so it's close to a variety of pubs & restaurants. The chateau & adjacent park are outside the back door and are lovely for a stroll. Off street, though not secure, parking for the motorbike.
Pros: Excellent location in the centre of Chateauxneuf-sur-Loire, which is an interesting little town worth a walk around, and with good restaurants and bars.
Pros: Enjoyable breakfast. Pleasant receptionist.
Cons: Room tired and in need of decoration. Tea making facilities had disposable plastic cups and no milk supplied. Mattress had plastic cover which made sleep hot, sweaty and uncomfortable. We arrived on Friday evening, no meal available at hotel and local restaurants were closed including the one recommended by hotel, ended up with a baguette.
Pros: Breakfast was good. Croissants won2derful
Cons: Only good thing about room was clean comfortable bed. Ensuite needs total refurbishment. What sort of hotel closes at 8pm?

Pros: The food was good, the hotel was in an ideal location, the staff were helpful. They went out of there way to make sure my elderly mother was looked after.
Cons: The room was small and hot.
Pros: Nice bar area and restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Albeit simple, the room had everything you needed. Fresh breakfast things.
Cons: Twin beds were narrow. Our room over the street was noisy all night.
Pros: Confortable room and good food.
Pros: Realy nice and helpful staff,i can park with my motorcycle safe and secure place,i get the nice dinner and breakfast
Pros: The girls on reception were friendly
Cons: As we arrived outside our room (at 7:30pm) we were greeted by a huge pile of dirty laundry which was still there the next morning, presumably our sheets are now on the pile. The paintwork was chipped and the carpet was dirty. Even the signage was yellowed and dirty and the smell was unpleasant. Nothing indicated that guests matter here. The WiFi information was outdated so I don’t know if there was any even though a router was duck taped to the stair rail. Avoid.
Pros: Restaurant was very good although as it was full the service was slow and it was clear they were struggling to cope
Cons: As others have said in previous reviews the accommodation is woefully lacking and in need of essential updates . Power sockets hanging off walls, mouldy shower enclosure , furniture tired and in need of replacement
Pros: Good value characterful hotel, friendly and comfortable. Well placed for the town and river.
Cons: Restaurant slightly pricey, but the food was very good.
Cons: There is no air-conditioner in the hotel at all. During my stay there was an extreme heatwave with 40C. My attic room was like an oven. There were lots of flies in the restaurant.
Pros: The room was quite small but nicely furnished and decorated. The bathroom was fresh and modern. Excellent location for local shops and bars....almost all in one street adjacent to Hotel.
Cons: Bed was a double and quite small for us...but comfortable with good linen.
Pros: Le Cheval Blanc is a charming little hotel in a charming and very lively town. The Hotel is situated a one-minute-walk from the central street of the town. Here you will find delicious chocolates, butcher and bakers, cafés and restaurants as well as difference shops. There is about 300 meter to a beautiful sight of La Loire. Jargeau is a town where things happen. From mid July to the beginning og August there are Animateurs on the beach at La Loire. Wednesday is market day. The staff is pleasant and engaged in your wellbeing. The language is French, our french is petit peu, and we all made it work. We have been eating and drinking well. We enjoyed the restaurant as in really enjoyed! and had our dinner here for four nights. Oh the Sct. Jacques, Merlu, Salmon ... and the Pouilly Fumé! Thank you to The Chef, The Cooks and The Breakfast-Lady. And a special thanks to the three young waiters! They did well!
