“Staying at Château de la Gabelle has been an amazing experience. This little family-run castle is located on top of an hill in the Provençal countryside just a 10' drive away from Sault, lavender's main capital. The structure was very lovely and well kept, there is a nice dehors with some tables where you can enjoy the meals provided by the staff or just enjoy the view on the hills. We really loved the location, being that extremely quiet and positively isolated from the rush we are used to living in the city. Our room had a nice bench on the outside where we enjoyed having dinner with some takeaway pizzas we ordered in the nearby village of Sault. The staff was really nice, make sure to check out their boutique, they sell some products made with the lavender they produce, we loved and bought the shower gel!”
