This popular three-star holiday hotel is one of the leading houses in the region and is situated in an idyllic and peaceful part of the area with excellent views of the surrounding Alps. Its location reflects the quiet and relaxing atmosphere, just right to forget the stresses and strains of everyday life. The Christania is a family-owned hotel and offers an ambiance with all the care that makes any holiday unforgettable. Superior rooms with balcony and panorama view of the Alps.
Clean room with sufficient equipment (although minimum comfort).
i was lead to believe that this hotel is a member of 'leading small hotels in the world', it is not so; it's just a small, old fashioned family hotel. seeing that i booked this hotel solely because i was mislead into thinking that it belongs to the LSH group, i am extremely disappointed. however, as a small 3* hotel, it's pretty good. I beg the hotel to change your description and not mislead people further!
The staff was extremely kind and professional, the room was very clean and spacious, with a fantastic balcony. The restaurant offers high quality food. A cozy living room near the reception is perfect to meet other hotel guests. Many parking spots are available for hotel guests.
Very minor comment: the light in the bathroom was a bit too weak.
good breakfast, good service, clean
facilities a bit too 'basic' for the price, but this was the height of the holiday season
Good size of room with amazing views. Comfortable bed.
The hotel and room was very dated (1970's). Its not offen nowadays you have brown bathroom tiles and pink towles! A tea/coffee facility in the room would be nice
Friendly staff with excellent food. A little far from the cable car but a good place to stay for skiing
The rooms were misdescribed. I booked an apprtment with 2 bedrooms. What I got was 2 rooms which did not interconnect and were opposite one another
Bread at breakfast was lovely and fresh. Nice and quiet area.
The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. The rooms were too warm. If you want to go skiing, I would recommend staying in Fiescheralp or Bettmeralp instead.
Very clean and very well maintained, friendly staff
a little bit old-fashioned (70ies style)
very quiet location, easy access + parking, friendly staff, excellent food
