the position, the gardens, the general helpfulness of everyone we encountered.
The hotel and room were quaint. The staff seemed a little unconcerned about us. For a hotel with its own restaurant, the breakfast was very unimpressive.
Lovely room, excellent breakfast. The restaurant had excellent reviews but also very expensive for dinner.
Nice swimming pool; wireless internet No air conditioning; bed hard; staff not particularly friendly
Excellent position, very nice view from the terrace, lovely breakfast served in the garden. The room was very nice but small, also the bed was rather small.
Lovely place! Charming interior, wonderful surroundings, fine food! Extremely hard to find! They should put up more signs as how to reach the hotel. The navigator got totally confused, and apparently road construction goes on forever. Really a handicap their location, as lond as it is not properly posted. The restaurant, which is excellent, suffers from lack of clientele, because of this. Advise them to do something about this! Booking.com should add a new category :culture!!
The hotel is very charming and the restaurant has a very nice interior. The beds are too short for long persons and the use of perfume is the rooms is too extensive.
A nice castle-hotel in an excellent location with very beautiful rooms and a nice view at the village (Flayosc). The pool was nice too. All in all very romantic. The woman in the reception (and probably the hotel owner) could be a little bit more enthousiastic.
Nice quiet location but within easy walking distance of the town. Helpfull unobtrusive staff with good facilities, parking and a pool.
Comfortable, quiet, very good value, delightful gardens and pool
Freindly and confortable close to town centre A little dated
Friendly staff, central location was good. Bed was too soft and therefore had a huge "hole" in the middle. Made it terrible to sleep in.
friendly staff and free internet service.
ideal position, friendly staff, nice breakfast first room was of very poor standard, it was more like a hostel room - broken fridge, musty smell, in need of updating very 1960/70s style
Friendly helpful staff - a homely feel - we loved the dog called Whisky There was nothing we did not like. Breakfast could have been a little more substantial.
Location :) The hotel staff seemed quite bored and was not that friendly. Also once we happened to receive towels with holes which for a 3star hotel seemes unacceptable... Also WiFi didn't work in our room... But the most funny thing was the bed!Two single beds put together pretending a double! How is that for a honeymoon?:)))
Clean, comfortable, good food. Lighting poor in room.
value for money no
Hotel was clean, had a spacious bathroom for France, nice pool, good breakfast and easy access to A-8
It's a place to sleep and it does what it says on the tin. I like the fact each room has outside access.
helpfull staff, nice environment and access to swiming pool
it was a very nice and easy hotel, and the staff were very friendly
It was calm and quiet with a nice pool. Set in pretty surroundings Itt was a bit basic with hard mattress and pillows
After a long journey, it was somewhere just to stay the night. It was a fair hotel but overpriced. The price was a bit excessive.
Clean and friendly staff. Good choice for breakfast. Rooms downstairs dark and as there was only a door on to an open space at rear you could not get ventilation because of security risk.
The view from the balcony is lovely. The bed is comfortable. The following comments were made after a stay when the hotel was basically empty and half-shut for the winter which may account for some of the experience: The reception area is gloomy and unwelcoming. The bathroom needs immediate attention - broken tiles, very grotty indeed. The bar is a playroom and toy store - not a place you'd want to/can relax in. The restaurant overpriced for the standard of the food served. I am sure this is a fine hotel in summer. In autumn it's pretty desperate.
We had a wonderful evening meal in a beautiful setting. The food, including a number of delightful amuse-bouches, was excellent and the service pleasant and attentive - improvising a footrest for my recovering broken ankle. It was not surprising that the restaurant gradually filled up. We lingered over our meal and then went straight up to our room to enjoy the marvellous views.
Very nice surroundings and nice room (bit small though). Not that we didn't like the food at the restaurant, but we did think it was overpriced.
This hotel is associated with a gourmet dining room. We were blown away by the meal.
