It was amazing! David is such a lovely host, with perfect recommendations. At booking we were a bit worried the bed/room were too small, but this was not the case at all, actually was one of the most comfortable beds of our trip in Portugal! If we had not yet booked something for the next night, we would have stayed here for an extra night, also to have another luxurious breakfast :)

Location was great, the breakfast was wonderful and we got the rest with us. Thanks David

This B&B is a great find with loads of unique Portuguese vintage charm as well as all the necessary comforts. David is an excellent English host who provides an amazing breakfast as well as heaps of local info and advice as needed. We thoroughly enjoyed all of David’s restaurant recommendations and site seeing advice. The rooms and beds are very comfortable so we slept so well here. We also loved the tranquility of David’s overgrown garden in which to relax and read along with David’s lovely and passive canine companion Kika. Thoroughly recommend more than a night here.

The love for the details of David and the nice presence of Kika. The breakfast was just the best of my summer 2019, elegance, quality and variety. I found everything in the room and in the bathroom that I wished for.
