An excellent little in with a wonderfull infinity pool. The web appears critical from some reviews and I do not know why. Excellent value set in the Atlentajo wilderness. NOTHING
Staff, food, room and pool all excellent. A very relaxing few days None
Staff were very willing to help even though their English was not as good as we might have expected. Bonus of a swimming pool which was most welcome after a long journey! Food was regional cuisine and very generous portion size.
Very friendly hotel staff. Nice and stylish furniture room and large balcony. Very good restaurant. Interesting exotic village, beautiful country side. Hotel did not accept Mastercard (which I recommended them to do).
The Pool was great. Limited selection of meals in restaurant
The pool is beautiful!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The swimming pool is terrific with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Nothing - it was poor in every way Location; Services; Food; Facilities - everything was well below the standard expected for 65 euro per night hotel; the restaurant was poor foord and poor service and did not warrant the 25 euro price.
The room was spacious. Staff was attentive and helpful. The decor is old styled. The habitation could be more ventilated.
Nice pool facilities, clean & nicely designed rooms. Quiet country side atmosphere. For the location, it needs an in house restaurant. A little expensive considering how far out the location is.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms excellent.
The location near minas do lousal
Good hospitality and comfort
We thought the building and grounds were beautiful. The furnishings and decoration were a lovely blend of traditional and modern. The room was well proportioned with a spacious bathroom and large balcony. The swimming pool and shower area were excellent. The breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The surrounding area was historically interesting. Could not fault the hotel itself but more signs/directions through the village would be helpful. Also, the only nearby restaurant was closed when we were there except for weekends.
Old and romantic household. Quietness, sparrows, ambience and friendly owners. Garden was nice but not very clean (leafage).
Charming Bed & Breakfast Guest House accomodation. Spacious room available for the guests, including swimmingpool in the backyard. Breakfast served in the wine-cellar!
Friendliness of owner & excellent service.
The service from the owner was extraordinary good and personal, she also gave very good recommendations for dinner and sightseeing. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. Also very good WiFi access.
Beautiful room excellent breakfasts and helpful management
Very nice place. Very friendly hostess. Good sugestions about dining ang interesting conversation about life in Portugal - good english.
Nice home , nice decoration and big bed rooms retaurated by the owner who is an architect, in a small town not far from Beja Depending wether it is important for you or not you pass in the home of the owners while you go to the swimming pool , for us it was perfect , but sometimes a little bit noisy on the street against depending on the orientation of your room , but absolutely not exagerated on the rear side , only for one room on the street it could be eventually a problem if you are sensitive to noise in your sleep
Room, staff, food and pool was great. The only complaint was that the wireless internet was out of order but we were offerd to use the owners stationary pc.
Right in the city center. Excelent facilities and very familiar atmosphere.
Location, room atmosphere/mood. Lack of kindness, poor breakfast quality (variety and food freshness)
It's location is ideal for wildlife lovers. You are awoken by the sound of bird song. Felix. the owner, takes great pride in all aspects of your stay. Virtually most of the food is produced on site,or locally. The homemade bread is wonderful! Some of the food that you pay for can be a bit more expensive than expected. But you will be guaranteed an enjoyable expeience. It is a 'Gite' type accommodation, so you are detached from the lounge area, and are based in converted farm buildings
everything just miss a tiny tv ;)
Beautiful surroundings, wonderful walks, friendly family. Cold, damp, no facility for making coffee. The kitchen in particular was quite filthy. Hotel meals were expensive compared to environs (which weren't cheap), and not disclosed until the final bill was paid.
Friendly owners Nothing
The pool and the silence The air condition was out of order. When we were there it was hot 43 digress. There was to far to the nearest restaurant. The nearest city is to local.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The surroundings were excellent for a quiet stay amongst nature. It is refreshing to experience the rural simplicity of this Hotel in the Alentejo.
