Finiki View Hotel Apartments - Finiki - Building
1
9.3 Excellent (259 reviews)
Overview Reviews

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is superb, view from the pool over to the sea - blue, on blue on blue, uninterrupted. Family of cats - I love cats (you have to in Greece). Finiki village is pleasant with several nice restaurants clustered around the small harbour, and a nightly floor show from the acrobatic cats down there. Hotel itself sits high above the sea (and across the road, which is not noisy - traffic is very sparse) with a breakfast terrace view to die for - and amazing sunsets. Hosts provided me with plentiful pillows. Pool is a good size and was always uninhabited.
Cons: There is nothing to do after nine pm. No shops or bustling night-life - fine if you just want to go and read a book, or are madly in love. i read four books in the first three days. I have a bad back and the beds were hard and uncomfortable. The balcony chairs also not supportive. (I expect young people would have no problems here though) The first night I thought the room was haunted - realised what I could hear was someone breathing next door, via a door hidden by the wardrobe. I had been promised a pick-up car from the airport, which didn't happen - waited an hour, phoned (they didn't answer) so got a taxi. No apology or explanation for this, and they expected me to pay for it. When I wanted to use the pool I had to ask them every time (at 11am) to remove the pool cleaning machinery. Upside - no-one else used the pool except me! Note - the (fairly quiet) main road runs between the hotel and the sea, and there is a steep slope, with 73 steps at intervals, down to (and back from) the harbour and any restaurants. You will need good legs, and a car. Arkasa down the road (just too far to walk) is a nice small place with (a bit) more night life. Also of archeological interest. Pigadia is the place for evening bustle and shopping/restaurants, lovely harbour, boat trips to the difficult north, shore line, beaches and great archeological museum.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is very clean. And the stuff is really kibd.
Cons: Maybe suggestion for breakfast. It would be fine to offer some eggs or salami.
7.1 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The views from the hotel were amazing. Always clean towels and bedding. Good size rooms some have the old Karpathian 4 poster beds with steps up to it.
Cons: The hotel was very high up with many steps up to rooms and many from hotel to beach. No lift at hotel so could be awkward for people with walking difficulty. A little bit isolated you need a car as nearest supermarket etc in next resort. Only few restaurants in the area and the hotel not offering food except breakfast. Breakfast got tiring it was toast ,jam , yoghurt and preserve with orange juice and tea or coffee each day. We felt the hotel was a little tired . I was not keen on the 4 poster bed . I did not see a bar at hotel so need to go out in evening. We ordered a taxi for 10 min journey to airport through hotel and it cost 40euros extortionate we felt.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very very helpful !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was spacious and clean with comfortable beds and pleasant decor. There's and a lovely view from the terrace, it was great to have a great breakfast with a gorgeous sea view every day. The location is perfect, it's a short drive from the airport, 150 yards from the beach and restaurants, and short walk to the supermarket and the next settled area of Arkasa. Having a fridge, hob and sink enabled us to prepare food when we wanted to. Paniotis was helpful and welcoming, he kindly connected us with a hire car company so we could explore the island. Karpathos is peaceful and the beaches are beautiful with clear blue waters, striking cliffs and hidden caves to explore. The weather was perfect in late September, although the island is winding down for the season then (which made it even more peaceful!).
Cons: A few more kitchen utensils would have come in handy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location for Karpathos. Nice nearby tavernas. Nice pool, friendly fellow guests, very helpful staff.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It is a great family property mamaged by a lovely old couple who treat you as family very quickly. I loved the views, quietness and that Finiki has so many great taverns! I would love to return one day.
Cons: Many stairs - which for us was not an ussue but should be made clear that it is not suitable for all type of guests (my parents would bot be able to manage for example. The only suggestion would be to improve breakfast, kind of boring to have the same simple plate every morning. Anyways we loved our stay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic view to the sea with a beautiful sunset. The little swimming pool was also nice and really clean. Very nice and polite hosts. They helped us with every questions and informations.

Pros: Thanks to Andreas we felt in love with Karpathos and we felt at home. Studios are ok with the wonderful sunset panorama. There is all you need! But if you come in August, as per Andreas’ tip, remember to book you car in advance. Grazie
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The studio was very clean, it had a nicely sized bed, a compact kitchen counter with all the dishes and cutlery needed for two people. The balcony was quite big with a nice view of the sea, a table and two chairs, and a clothesline to make drying the towels and everything else easy.
Cons: The only thing that was not perfect was a shower without a curtain and in hotter days it was a bit hotter inside at night due to the absence of AC, but the included fan made it much better.
