Pros: clean, top location, friendly staff
Pros: Great location not far from ferry. Clean, bright rooms with nice semi-private porch and view to open fields. Very nice management, 5th generation local, friendly and super knowledgeable.
Cons: Nothing not to like!
Pros: The staff was very friendly, the house very cosy and we had a great time on the island. Perfect stay!
Pros: Everything! the location is perfect and the island is so pretty and relaxing. Cesar was the perfect host and also took us on his boat to a sauna on a remote protected island which was a magical experience
Pros: This was a lovely hostel: very comfortable, stylish and clean. Cesar and Klara went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable, and had even prepared easter eggs for the holiday!
Pros: Everything...at most the wonderful Hosts
Cons: Everything was on the top. Like an 5 Stars Hostel
Pros: We just loved this place! And Möja is the best island in the Archipelago. Just next to the ferry to town, you find this super cosy hostel. Which had everything you need and more. Will defenetly come back!
Cons: It had very thin walls, so bring your earplugs if you are sensitive.
Pros: Thank you for a wonderful time in this beautiful and well equipped hostel! Instead of two planned nights we stayed 4 nights on Möja and we will come back. Clara and Cesar were very helpful, friendly and generous! I recommend this hostel also for groups, families and workshops.
Pros: Good location and the staff are helpful! Beautiful view and cozy space.
Pros: Clean, comfortable and friendly.
When you stay at Svartsö Skärgårdshotell & Vandrarhem in Gallnoby, you'll be on the beach and 10 minutes by car from Alsvik Jetty. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A ferry terminal shuttle is available for a surcharge.
Pros: Great service! Many thanks to Laisa for patiently answering all our questions about the ferry schedules days in advance and for helping us book the sauna. We would have had a lovely time on Svartso but it made our stay that much better.
Pros: Great location great staff super calm to sleep and very good breakfast
Pros: This is a lovely hostel next to a beautiful rocky beach with amazing sunsets. The staff were really friendly and welcoming (and spoke good English), the kitchen was well equipped, and everything was really well presented. We ordered the 'Lanthandelns matkasse' food package and it was incredibly substantial - it provided us for two dinners and one lunch for two people! The location is also great: a stone's throw from Norra Svartso harbour or about an hour's walk along quiet gravel tracks/paths from the more major Alsvik. If anyone else is worried about making the connection between the boat from Alsvik and the bus at Boda Brygga, don't be: we discovered they're designed to integrate together so the bus wouldn't leave without you if the boat was late, and it comes right down to the harbour.
Cons: Nothing bad to say!
Pros: Close to Norra Svartsö ferry station (Make sure you choose this stop while checking the schedule for waxholmbolaget boats) Good kitchen and dining area set up A good nature park for kids
Cons: Bedsheets could have been included in the price, it was not a cheap accommodation by any means.
Pros: Lovely Place in the nature. All was perfect.
Pros: Wonderful quiet place in Autumn. Such helpful staff. Recommend it fully. Bear in mind though it’s more of an eco lodge than a hotel and I’d imagine in busy times you’d be queuing to use the kitchen. I’d recommend getting a room with own bathroom
Cons: It is Sweden after all so not cheap for what you get. But if you want to see this beautiful island then it’s worth it
Pros: peaceful environment, cleanliness
Cons: mishap upon check-in; seems they have 2 kinds of rooms (hotel and hostel) which was not refelected on the booking site
Pros: The hostel is beautifully located on Svartso island, 100m from the boat stop and surrounded by the forest (take the ferry from the pier in front of the Grand Hotel in Stockholm, stopping to Norra Svartso). It is nice and the breakfast is very good and complete. The island is really beautiful and is perfect to bike during springtime (we went in May). We just had one single issue: huge and hungry mosquitoes showing up around 6pm. Take anti-mosquitoes with you! Otherwise, perfect location to enjoy beautiful swedish nature.
Cons: The mosquitoes! ;)
Pros: Arrived very late, but getting the keys was painless and the staff was kind enough to leave instructions. The location is exceptional (for nature lovers). Buffet breakfast was okay, but nothing special. There is however an excellent restaurant in walking distance.
Cons: Have to pay extra for bed sheets, covers and towels. No room fridge. Anemic shower (barely any pressure).
Pros: Location, absolutely wonderful. Great staf, very friendly and relaxed.
Cons: Small thing, we woke up early as the window in the door was only covered with white plastic.
When you stay at Marholmen in Norrtälje, you'll be near the beach and 13 minutes by car from Spillersboda Jetty. Planning an event in Norrtälje? This hotel has facilities measuring 1023 square feet (95 square meters), including a conference center. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Pleasant hotel in very nice surroundings. Friendly staff and very good breakfast. The spa was very relaxing. We'll certainly be back.
Pros: Decent hotel surrounded by summer cabins on a small island with its own beach and leisure facilities. However, it remains below its possibilities.
Pros: Good breakfast. Comfortable beds, although they were quite high but not an issue. Well thought lighting in the room. It is very rare to have all lights dimmable, also in bathroom. Nice area. A small terrace with large door, although the outside of doorway was occupied by a small spider that just finished weaving a large web. Since it was quite late and raining we decided to stay inside and let the spider keep its spot.
Cons: I lost a table football match to my wife.
Pros: Great setting.
Cons: No room temperature control no screen on door to patio. At times made it difficult to get a sense of fresh air in room when hot and in direct sunlight.
Pros: Clean room, comfortable beds and good breakfast.
Pros: Very nice located, quiet area, much space to spend a peaceful time. Friendly staff, many different options to spend your time: tennis, mini golf, nice beach area, hiking trail around the island, billiard table. Excellent dinner and good breakfast. Hotel building is very new with comfortable beds & terrace or balcony.
Cons: There were no shelf or sideboard or mirror cabinet in the bathroom, so no option to keep your stuff in the bathroom. Furthermore the shower watered the whole floor, this should be improved as well.
Pros: Beautiful and quiet place for rest.
Cons: Amount of food
Pros: Very trendy decor. Easy access to driveway using back door of room. Fully fadeable lights once you work out how to use the switches.
Cons: Drain odour coming from shower area. Hotel took my payment before I arrived, which led to some faffing.
Pros: The staff tried at least.
Cons: We were coming here for a Spa-weekend, I booked it via booking.com and called them to double check that the spa would be open during this weekend. I was assured it would be but upon arrival, the lady at the front desk told me it was closed for cleaning, and that it would remain closed throughout our entire stay. This is unreasonable, it's quite a far of drive and no real effort to amend or discount our stay was made by the staff. Will most likely not book this place again.

Cons: Not a thing!
Pros: Very cosy, comfortable place. Great facilities, and we could even borrow bikes to cycle to the nearby lake to have a swim. The hosts are super nice and welcoming. Can definitely recommend this nice B&B.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The water view and balcony rooms were nice but can get loud at night. We had the family room which did not face the water but was very comfortable. The area is quaint and lovely. Jogging is nice near area. Food at restaurant was delicious!
Cons: The AC did not work well. The air was cool outside but since they did not have screens in windows, we got bit by mosquitos all night. After 10 pm or before 7 am there is no staff to help you so a little inconvenient because we did need to eat early am but it was ok since there was breakfast nearby.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent and very friendly and accomodating staff who really took their time chatting to people and going the extra mile. The room size was good for a family of four.
Cons: The view overlooking a car park was not great.
Pros: Nicely decorated. Very clean. Locally produced food, fish and meet in the restaurant.
Cons: The lamp by the bed could only be switch off by unplugging it!

All rooms at Vandrarhemmet Hvilan Norrtälje have shared bathroom facilities. Many rooms are decorated in bright colours. Local buses stop 200 metres from Vandrarhemmet Hvilan, bringing guests to Stockholm in one hour. Free private parking spaces are available on site.
Pros: The staff were very nice and helpful. The hostel was very nice and smaller than expected (only 11 rooms) which made it nicer and more personal. There is tea and coffee for free. We cancelled our breakfast but thankfully, this was not a problem.
Cons: We booked breakfast, which is at a small bakery across the street, but it did not meet our expectations. There were only sandwiches packed in plastic and only one small cheese sandwich without meat, which was the only option for me as a vegetarian. It was OK but we then preferred to cancel and make the breakfast ourselves for the remaining two days, which was thankfully not a problem.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and informed us in very good way. The location of the hostel was excellent to us.
Pros: clean and tidy

Pros: We loved the breakfast, friendly staff and the charming building and interior of the hotel.
Cons: The bathroom in the family room was tiny and the interior of both the room and bathroom were dated and in need of renovation. The internet connection was slow. We could only use two devices simultaneously, which was frustrating.
Pros: The breakfast was nice and served in a quaint setting; the buffet was in an old kitchen. The staff was very helpful and our room was very prettily decorated. The beds were not big but comfortable. The hotel is very convenient for a walk along the coastline and it takes ten minutes to walk to the town centre, which is very pretty. This is a good choice for a mini break.
Cons: The dinner that was included in the price was very ordinary and didn't live up to our expectations. We chose to go out to dinner instead.
Pros: The hotel is very charming and beautifully decorated. The garden is very peaceful and it is relaxing to eat outside. The location is great – within walking distance of the city center. The breakfast was great and the Friday dinner was wonderful.
Cons: Not all of the dinners were fulfilling.
Pros: Breakfast and staff
Cons: The shower Lack of possibility to stay outside the room
Pros: The staff was so very kind and the beds were superb
Cons: Although the rooms were fantastic, our bathroom was too small, with only one tiny washbasin
Pros: Charming old house
Cons: Overprized. You pay too much for what you get. The whole place is falling into pieces and there is no maintenance
Pros: +Nice garden +Great with meal included in the room price +The big size and balcony of family suite +Very good home baked dark bread for breakfast +Child friendly
Cons: - Not so much kitchen-ware in the apartment Family suite - The meal included was quite simple, we would liked to also have some bread and more sallad
Pros: Nice decoration
Cons: Unic main course for dinner . room never cleaned during 3 days despite our demand . no water bottles in the room . Food smell in our room .
Pros: The beautiful old house wiht a lovely garden. No disturbing noise. Wonderful beds. Modern bathroom. Romantic wallpaper, beautiful furniture. Shabby chic style. Dinner and breakfast included. Very nice food. They had alternatives for guestd with food allergies.
Cons: They had small amounts of food. Everybody came down for breakfast at the same time så much of the food ran out quickly and we had to wait for boiled and scrambled eggs and butter.

Cons: Walls were very thin.

Pros: Very simple room, but comfortable beds.Good welcome. Good breakfast.Efficienly organized. No gadget, no fancy, no unuseful details.
Pros: good Stop in a nice little Town
Pros: Breakfast was fine. Exactly what you expect in Sweden. There are 4 rooms with a small eating area - visiting with the other guests at breakfast was delightful. Very close to center of town with restaurants etc.
Cons: A little crowded when all guests are in the common area. There is a nice balcony. So, if the weather is good this is not a problem.
Pros: If you know how to enjoy team and family space, you will feel yourself absolutely home. People are sharing their house with you, even you will be on a separate flour, it is warm home atmosphere. Place is right in the center, everything is near. Fantastic surrounding. Fairy tale almost.
Cons: We like the place, however you need to know, it is very compact. If you like to have a huge choice for the breakfast, it would be more democratic here, but everything you need would be here.

Pros: Every was perfect, apart from the bathroom which needs modernisation, bed’s were very comfortable, clean and quiet, breakfast has good selection.
Cons: Bathroom which needs modernisation
Pros: The rooms are very clean and all the facilities required are available, (even a big kettle)
Cons: Breakfast times catered for business clients but not really taking into account people who are staying on a leisure basis. For me 9:00am is to early to close.
Pros: The stuff was very helpful and friendly, it was a pleasant stay
Cons: The hotel is a bit far from the centre but we rented a car so that was not a problem.
Pros: Good beds, helpful crew, parking only a few meters away.
Cons: Price is too high, but there are no other hotels in town.
Pros: Wonderful breakfast, local products and very tasty. Staff was amazing and very helpful. Beds were very comfortable and access to gym and free parking is a plus. Apparently free dinner is included in the room price, but since we were staying over the Easter week-end, that option did not exist - so we got a discount on the room instead. Very nice and great customer focus (thank you Johanna)!
Cons: It is a very dated hotel, one can tell that its old and efforts have been made to make it look newer than it is. Curtains were hanging down a bit, bathroom was clean but not comfortable to shower in a small bathtub.
Cons: The drain in the shower was very poor. Poor ventilation in the room
Pros: We have stayed thre twice and highly recommend the property.
