Motel 6 Flagstaff - Butler AZ is minutes from historic downtown Flagstaff and Northern Arizona University. Grand Canyon National Park is 80 miles away and surrounded by spectacular scenery. Wi-Fi is available in our modern rooms for a small fee.
Room was very clean, some times when I stay in a nonsmoking room I can still smell smoke. This was a true nonsmoking room, not even a hint of smoke. The other guests turned in early and allowed us to have a nice quite stay, this was very important for us to get quality rest cause we was hiking in the Grand Canyon every day. Hotel was in walking distance to quite a few restaurants, so we didnt have to spend alot of driving around looking for some where to eat after a long day of hiking. We would stay here again.
Hotel didnt clean our room every day, they do exchange towels out for fresh ones but thats it, we stayed three nights and never got our bed made or room picked up. The rooms are very small but up to date. We would stay here again the GOOD out weights the BAD.
Not a lot of sound proofing and it is located near the freeway. The bathroom had a disproportionate amount of room that made the room feel small. No fridge, microwave, or table inside the room. Most of all, obtained a reservation through hotels.com in which it was not fully disclosed up front that the price negotiated did not include an additional 30% charge. 10% went towards taxes which was somewhat disclosed but the other 20% was told to me from the hotel staff as a fee that goes to hotels.com for booking a room at this hotel through them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The pool was nice
Beds weren't that comfortable
room was remodeled, nice staff,
room was small
Pool was down. There should be a discount in the middle of July when your pool is not usable.
late check in
They cancelled my reservation , when I did call ahead and explained my situation to them. Woman i spoke to on the phone said she would note the account and i would have no problems , when in fact I did run into a situation .
The price was very reasonable and the facilities were adequate for an economical visit to Flag.
Some complain about the train noise. I heard the trains when I was awake but once I fell asleep I heard nothing until I woke up. Best to get a room on the front side of the motel if train noise is a problem for you. Also, they should salt the driveway by the room when it is icy because you can easily wipe out on the ice which I did.
I managed to get a few hours of sleep
The room was dirty, we went to the store and bought our own cleaner and cleaned the smelly toilet, the ac went out in the evening, so it was a hot night. We found an old dirty sock belonging to someone who stayed there before us. The windows don't open for air. The sink was dirty.
The staff was friendly and accomadating. Price was great.
nothing, don't even have alarm clock, and it next to train track, can't sleep whole night.
It allowed our pet and was easy to find.
There were only 2 big towels and none on the cart for showering in the AM without going to office as told. The beds were not comfortable and only 1 small bar of soap--not even a hairdryer????? These are basics in this day and age
Very nice hotel, good value for money, it was just a motel, but the conditions were better than in some hotels. Very clean.
Cleanness of the rooms and bathroom, localization
Speed of the check-in and high temperature in the lobby.
It was cheap and clean. Nice place to stay when just in need of some place to sleep.
Had to pay for internet. The rooms were smaller than other Motel 6 locations. The train sound was annoying in the night.
It was not the hotel that was the problem. They did not have a reservation from Booking.com. Apparently this had been a common screw up. Hope I didn't get charged twice from Booking and the hotel
