10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vicky and her hubby are lovely and natural hosts who make you feel very comfortable and welcome
Cons: nothing, only constructive negative to perhaps look into is that it might be good to have blackout curtains inthe bedrooms for light sleepers like myself. I found myself up at about 4 am because of too much light coming through.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and welcoming. Hosts super, nothing was too much trouble. Homemade goodies delicious. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were so charming, and the breakfast was really superb. They had a darling miniature wire- hair dachshund as well .Loved the house and beautiful garden. I was offered tea and scones and clotted cream after checking in. The village of Crondall was extremely pretty. The room was just perfect with a comfortable bed and lots of amenities. I would definitely stay at Vine Cottage again.
Cons: I liked everything.
10.0 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hosts who gave us a warm welcome, Excellent afternoon tea in the garden was a treat. Although we stayed during a spell of extremely hot weather we were provided with bottled water in an ice bucket which was most appreciated. Home baking and preserves at breakfast were delicious.
Cons: Missing Daphne.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful cottage in a gorgeous location with delightful hosts. We were made most welcome and would highly recommend Vine Cottage. The little extra touches like home made jam and scones made it even nicer.
Cons: Nothing!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: My heart sank when I realised that there was no ensuite. A private bathroom is inconvenient for dashing to the loo in the middle of the night. The dressing gowns provided are great if you are a standard size. Having said that, the towels were large enough to cover up with and everything else was so amazing that moaning about no ensuite seems petty. Vicky & Robin are superb hosts & their beautiful home is a tranquil haven. Home made rock cakes on the tray with an amazing variety of teas. Breakfast was superb. Home made jam & all served on beautiful china.
Cons: That I could only stay one night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lovely cottage and situation

Pros: Availability of the owners for explanations and the pick up to/from Farnham Station. I lost the sole of one of my trainers and the owner kindly lent me hers. Very comfortable bed. Immaculate bathroom. Lovely garden to chill out. Pub nearby - 10-min walk through the forest.
Cons: The room was advertised as ensuite but you had to pass by the upper hallway to reach the bathroom (3 steps only but not ideal for a romantic weekend) There is a dog on the premises, very kind and sweet. I am not too sure whether that is mentioned on the accommodation page.

Pros: The decor, service, food etc are superb
Cons: I think for a £400 suite breakfast should be included
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cool calm foyer, warm efficient courteous concierge. Lovely polite receptionist, he was very helpful. Fantastic room. Nice welcome message left on the Tv screen. Good selection of movies for free. Comfortable bed. comfortable robes and slippers.Spotless toilet & bathroom. The room was so well prepared that for the first time, I used hotel towels and didn't get an itch as they must have been laundered with mild detergent. Ironing board and pressing iron in room. A nice selection of tea and great tasting coffee with a kettle and cafetiere in room. Nice cookies in the room. A good number of electric socket points. Easy to control air-conditioning. Helpful room service. Lovely affordable meal and midnight snacks. Breakfast was to die for. Considerate well picked staff living the hotel's vision. Will definitely return. Scored extra points with my wife and will return with the kids. Should definitely be rated 5-star
Cons: No fridge or bar in room

Cons: Restaurant menu not great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very differently styled hotel with an aeronautical theme, well carried out. Incredibly clean, well appointed rooms. Efficient air-con. Great staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Nice little touches with robes and slippers.
Cons: Leaving it.......
9.3 Excellent
Pros: They had thought of everything you would need in the room. All the furnishings were chosen with care. Very little sign of wear and tear. The staff were very friendly, well trained and professional. The food was excellent - evening buffets for weddings can so often be disappointing.
Cons: The styling was too masculine for me. Really disappointed that a 10% service charge was added to our drinks bill without our knowledge or agreement. Since when are you expected to tip someone serving at a bar in a wedding reception? I'm sure our friends paid more than enough for the wedding package. Left a very poor feeling about what had been a very pleasurable experience up to then.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean bathroom. Lovely waitress in the 1-11 cafeteria serving excellent piping hot food.
Cons: Rubbish pillows. Went as flat as a sheet of paper after 5 minutes. Ended up with 3 under my head. Bed not very comfortable either. The hairdryer filter was full of fluff. Electric vehicle rechargers not compatible with my 2015 Mitsubishi. Both were Tesla standard plugs. Some staff appeared a bit snooty but Chloe on reception this morning was sweet.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good value, with a huge choice, and good service. We were very happy.
Cons: Everything was fine.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was clean and large, wheelchair friendly (which we didn't need) which gave lots of space, especially in the bathroom. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: When booking it said the room had air conditioning but it was very poor. Not on when we arrived (on the hottest day on record!) because you need the door card to turn on the electrics and it wasn't proper air conditioning. It was just a case of turning the thermostat down on the heating. The window wouldn't stay open so we had to wedge a cup under it to try to get some air in. The full English breakfast looked great. Unfortunately only the sausages were hot, all the rest was stone cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Both the hotel and staff were excellent, I have lived in Aldershot but had not been back for many years, I remember the Queens from that time but it has changed for the better.
Cons: We were with my parents who are in their 80's there only observation is that a lift would have made life slightly easier for them but this is not a criticism.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Interior is newly refurbished, good spcae and good location, very close to super market and restaraunt.
Cons: Lack of staff, have to wait at the pub to check in and check out, tried to call staff for checking out, but nobody answered.

Pros: Rooms were very comfortable and clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great
Cons: There's nothing that I disliked about the hotel or our stay
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent establishment which surprised us considering it is in a country side but the standard and offering is world class I must say. Very modern and yet very traditional English establishment which has been well maintained. Only regret we have is that we did not stay for much longer.

Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Easy to book in nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff Nice comfy bed. Fluffy towels,

Pros: Great ambience. Lovely quiet rooms. We had a dog and was allocated a ground floor convenient room. Good food. Super location. Plenty of parking. Beautifully appointed room. Staff friendly and helpful. Everything to hand in the room - tea/coffee making and iron and board. Really comfortable beds!
Cons: I like a bath so couldn't reach the soap on the wall which was conveniently placed for those having showers!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive and friendly staff, restaurant for lunch offered better than average pub food at reasonable prices. First rate full English breakfast
Cons: The shower tiling and ceiling had signs of black mould so some more attention to detail on cleaning and maintenance would be useful
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were helpful and attentive Rooms were clean and comfortable
Cons: Hotel address suggests Farnham but it is a bit outside Farnham, not easy to find and on a main road so location was not great if you wanted something in Farnham itself
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, friendly service.
Cons: Nothing

4.3 Okay
Cons: Being a big fan of the B&D’s in Cookham and Windsor (I use them both for work functions and socially) I thought this was a safe bet for a birthday night away with my other half and meeting friends for dinner. Unfortunately the condition of the Churt pub is very disappointing in comparison to its sister pubs. Some of this is down to wear and tear but generally it’s just dirty- carpets, cushions, seats etc are all in need of a serious clean, the same could be said for our bathroom. The first bedroom we were given was small, very plain and shabby with no character - not what I would expect for for £165! We were relocated to a second option which had far better decor but looked over the flat roof kitchen which has large, noisy extraction equipment. Staff were average- didn’t seem to clean up spilt food or drinks from floors or tables- I had to ask a waitress to clean up all the blood she had spilt from my main course before I either put my dress or arm in it. Plates were cleared from the table before we had finished eating and drinks orders forgotten about. Considering our dinner bill came to just under £400 - it really didn’t feel like value for money. There are far better pubs in the area, who’s service is far better and feel like far better value for money. Overall a pretty poor birthday weekend away
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and homely
Cons: Bedroom above kitchen and no tea/coffee in room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant young staff team, vibrant , energetic ,mostly students these young people we applaud, they made our stay first class!
Cons: Our room (Wickham) was vey small , but cosy. We will return in the future and would like a larger room please!
7.0 Good
Pros: I booked this for my husband and stepsons for a boys' night away so my review is based on their feedback. They liked the location and the friendly, welcoming staff. The breakfast was excellent, all made with local produce.
Cons: The food at dinner was hugely disappointing. Starters and sides were good - but the main dish (a 30oz West Country Rib of Beef to share) was overcooked. The beef came with potatoes, which all three said were hard and inedible. My husband complained at the time and the staff responded well and offered them a complimentary dessert. The boys thoroughly enjoyed what they chose but my husband (who is French & in the food business) didn't rate his cheese board at all. The cheese was fridge cold and the grapes and celery were past their best. On the whole, the food was overpriced and underwhelming. The sheets in the boys' room were stained. Something else they mentioned, which was beyond the hotel's control, was the noise during the night. A car alarm went off in the early hours and there was a plumbing emergency which meant that people were up and about and chatting, making sleep difficult. I feel disappointed that I booked somewhere in good faith and, while my family enjoyed their night away, it didn't live up to expectations. It was a lovely place but the attention to detail that could have made it great was lacking.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Decent wine list.
Cons: Our room was noisy to begin with (some form of generator or extractor hum), but then a deafening droning noise from an airlock caused us to vacate our room at 4:30am and do the 1.5 hour drive home to London. Another couple was sitting in the lobby in their nightwear to escape the noise, waiting for someone from the hotel to pitch to deal with it (there are no night staff on site). This same noise had happened in the afternoon and been reported to hotel staff, but they had not resolved it. Our room also faced directly into the pub garden, so had zero privacy. You could close the blinds and sit in the dark or be stared at. The wi-fi is an O2 freebie - to sign up you need a phone signal and there isn't one, so no wi-fi. We returned from an event at 10:40 where there had not been a lot of food and were starving. Clearly it was too late for restaurant service, but we asked if it would be possible to get a cheese sandwich or anything that took little effort. We were told to buy crisps at the bar. The stair carpets are filthy and the carpet in our room leading into the bathroom was threadbare. There were also niggles with the bar service, but not material enough to list. Despite having to vacate in the middle of the night, no one followed up with us until I left a message at around 3pm, at which time I received a sincere apology and explanation about the noise. They offered to comp the room (obviously) but not the two glasses of wine on our tab. Only when I pointed out that given that we had had to drive home in the middle of the night, they might consider whether that was appropriate, did they then comp the wine as well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly atmosphere, good food,
Cons: No phone reception, dirty carpets, mirrors in the bar filthy

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location very helpful staff good food and a great garden
Cons: Dripping taps very hard to turn off. Suggested that they get a plumber in.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Annual trip with friends to corp event. Always great hosts and great base for us.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I booked this pub as it's the only accommodation in and around hartley wintney area. The pub was located close to the restaurant I booked called Mama Mia, as it's our favourite Italian of all time, and we rent our property 100 yards from the restaurant. The pub is opposite the train station, for easy access to many main lines as well as to London. Our stay was short, as we didn't arrive until 7pm. But found the landlady and staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. I would definitely stay again if we had to arrange somewhere to stay. All in all happy with our accommodation and the staff.
Cons: Shame the bathroom was tiny as we are used to space, lol.... and our room faced a back of a fence, but not the landladys fault, it's just the way the pub is built, and I could probably request s different room if I ever booked in the future. Lol.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We chose the Winchfield Inn has a half way stop over on our way down to Devon. The Winchfield Inn was the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome from the owners and nothing was too much trouble. We dined in the pub for dinner and the food was delicious. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The Winchfield Inn was everything we needed to break up our journey and I wouldn’t hesitate to return should we be travelling down to the South West in the future.

Pros: Location was great as I was visiting family and friends in Hartley Wintney and Fleet. My room in the annexe was great as there was a wedding going on in the main house. Buffet breakfast was fine and quality was good.
Cons: Air conditioning in room rather than provision of a fan. Both nights were quite hot.

7.0 Good
Pros: The location for the town was good. The host was friendly and compared with other B&B's it was cheap.
Cons: The building is run down and in need of investment. The windows are not double glazed and are 1950's crittle finish and all are difficult to close. Our room was dingy and a vacuum cleaner had not been under our bed for a while. In the bathroom the sink was cracked and the bath was rusty where the enamel had flaked away. Breakfast facilities were absurd, one table seating 8. Fortunately when we were there it was ok but if the place were full, goodness knows where you had breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice room, friendly owner, great breakfast!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet and peaceful. Good night sleep. Car was safe. Care was taken to give us breakfast early on a Sunday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The big room with the comfortable bed and bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A couple of miles from the M3 with a pub just down the road lies a lovely secluded old house with plenty of off road parking. We had a spacious twin room with small but functional balcony overlooking the extensive garden, complete with TV and tea tray, tidy bathroom, good selection at breakfast with full English cooked to order. Family home bought by our host's father with a lifetime of memories for her which she is happy to share with her guests adding greatly to the warmth of the welcome and when you go it's like saying "bye, see you again" to an old friend.
Cons: Leaving

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We decided to return to where we got married 18 years ago to the day! It didn't disappoint. It was a lovely peaceful stay and we were all welcomed (including Ollie the Collie). It was lovely 18 years ago and it was lovely yesterday - we will be back. Thank you.
Cons: Keeping the swimming pool - hardly the current owners fault though! And, not a deal breaker.
6.8 Good
Pros: The room was alright apart from being small and being in the roof, where we hit our heads when not looking.
Cons: The breakfast wasn't great, the staff didn't understand plain English or couldn't be bothered to listen to you.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old building, quiet inside and out. Nice seating area outside to enjoy the garden. We had the four poster room, very comfy bed and nice room overall. Lovely meal (They do serve Saturday night despite was booking.com advertise) great breakfast too
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely independent hotel with a great atmosphere and friendly staff
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The personnel absolutely puts this accommodation in a different class. Could not have been more helpful and considerate. Really comfortable and clean accommodation. Excellent breakfast. Lovely setting, far enough away from road not to hear traffic. Good evening meal and reasonably priced.
Cons: The location was a little further from the village than I had hoped, too far for my mother to walk and alongside a busy main road. I think the price for B & B is high, regardless of how good the hotel is.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Location and welcome were outstanding. Food in the old manor house was very good as well. this is the third time that we have stayed here. Bedrooms on the first two were very good, but the attic room on a very hot night was uncomfortable and the sloping roofs dangerous. Come here so long as you don't get put in an attic room!
Cons: As above
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Wonderful books and magazines - No newspapers...... ! - The owners and staff were utterly charming , and we were beautifully looked after.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great service, lovely old building. Very pleasant stay. Nice bathrooms.
Cons: Rooms a bit tired in places. Bit of traffic noise.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The lovely 400 year old manor house and the staff
Cons: We were given an attic room, which had several places where the eaves were dangerously low, especially in the middle of the night!! We had a different room a week previously and it was lovely. One minor suggestion is to have a grab rail in the bath to help getting in and out for the shower

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had a beautiful, big, spacious room. The full English breakfast was really great. We definitely recommend the Heatherbank B&B!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was looking for a nice, independent alternative to an impersonal hotel that was close to an event I was attending at RMAS. What I got was a lovely, characterful building nestled in a lush garden setting with a wonderfully friendly host!
Cons: No improvements required. I really enjoyed our stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Informal atmosphere and lovely dogs
Cons: Would have preferred on suite but it was finegrea

Pros: Fantastic little B&B, hosts were lovely and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, happy to give directions and recommendations for local places to eat. Took us under 15 minutes to walk into the town. Rooms were nice, comfortable beds, a good night's sleep followed by a fantastic home cooked breakfast. Will certainly be staying here again if we visit this area in the future!

7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: No internet all day and night yet not warned. No sugar in room
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely staff, very friendly, well looked after property and an excellent location. We would definitely stay again.
Cons: It’s a carbohydrate only breakfast. Bit of a problem for me as I’m on a ketogenic diet (no carbs). Still, there’s a smashing posh cafe up the road where you can stuff your face to your heart’s content, so not a disaster at all. How to get to it? Come out of the front door, turn right, walk 200 metres, cross over the road and go through the entrance to a lovely old street. If you feel as though you’re in a Harry Potter movie then you’re in the right place. Coffee is great too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel was in a great location in the middle of Farnham and our room was beautiful and very clean.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Spotlessly clean room, clearly recently renovated and exceptionally well priced.
Cons: The bedding could have been better quality, divers felt a bit cheap but given the price the whole experience exceeded my expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfull place :). Lovely location, quiet.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Modern, courtyard-based rooms. Good bathroom.
Cons: Not the most comfortable bed.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was of a good size for one person. Fixtures and fittings of a high quality. Housekeeping good. The proximity to the Town Centre. Ease of Parking. Friendly staff
Cons: Only a couple of minor points. The TV was small and the speaker not very good. I found the wardrobe too low.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming professional staff, clean room ready ahead of allocated arrival time
Cons: Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay, to enhance the experience I would like to suggest a wider selection at breakfast (cold meats, cheese and different coffee offer)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spotless rooms and hotel
Cons: No cooked breakfast and the continental was very limited. Eg no cheese, ham etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location and the room was perfect.
Cons: There was nothing I would change.
