Excellent crew, terrible airport
Pros: Crew was courteous and always on top of all passenger's requests. When I asked for a special request they did the absolute best to accommodate me and my girlfriend on our long 10.5 hour flight.
Cons: Manchester (and London) airport was absolutely terrible. the floors were filthy, it was so crowded that the majority of people at the gate had to sit on the floor due to lack of chairs, the were in total only 2 food places we could find, excuse my language, but it was just a shitshow. Almost EVERY flight on the list was delayed, including ours by 30 mins. This may not be very long but can get quite annoying when you cant sit in any chairs at the gate and the floors look like somebody puked on them. Then, after boarding, our captain let us know about the port's technical difficulty of having parked our wide body plane in a narrow body space (or something similar to that) which delayed us even further. I will fly with Thomas Cook again but I WILL pay the extra charge to avoid UK and its airports from now on. That was terrible. But the flight crew couldn't do anything against that so I understand.
