7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, bathing opportunity and restaurant on location
Cons: Room next to terrace
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored buildings, great location and nice staff.
Cons: Vegetarian food in the restaurant was a disappointment and over-priced. Kitchen facilities for self cooking a bit limited.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Enigheten is steeped in history - a charming, other worldly kind of place. The facilities are simple, but well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. A peaceful, picturesque location close to the ocean.
Cons: Nothing, really. It’s a bit of a bind having toilets in a separate building, but one can’t have everything. On the plus side, toilet and shower facilities have recently been refurbished, and they are close by. There was a management change two years ago. They’re doing superbly; many improvements. But breakfast is a little disappointing, compared to earlier visits.

Pros: Clean and light rooms with beautiful big windows. The room was decorated in a rustic scandinavian style and gave the feeling of 'home'. Great surroundings (our room had a direct view towards the cow field), good bathroom facilities. The breakfast was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. We had been tasting Amalia's lemonades during our stay on Aland, and were excited to get to the accommodation at the end of our holiday, so that we could visit the lemonade factory and factory shop. Needless to say we bought many bottles to take home!
Cons: Depending on the type of the other guests, the ground floor rooms might not be for light sleepers. Noises carry easily though the walls and doors when other guests walk past to head upstairs. We also woke up very early in the morning to a child talking very loudly and "singing" in the dining area (other end of the house), seemingly not being asked to be quieter by parents. Not the accommodation's fault of course, as it's an old house and that's the charm of it. But light sleepers may want to make sure they sleep on the top floor, as I assume that should be quieter. Other small negative is that on arrival we were not told by the staff that we can use the rear entrance to come in after the main door has been locked for the night, and that we're supposed to use the magnetic key for it. Luckily we asked some other guests as we were heading out, who shared this piece of missing informatiion. Like us, they were surpised we had not been told about it.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good, the room 7 was beautiful ( small, though). Shower and toilet good.
Cons: The room 7 upstairs had a window partly toward the road. Because the weather was hot, the window had to be kept open. The noise from the road prevented us from falling asleep. At 3am I closed the window and could sleep a little bit. It was a long and hot night with no rest ☹️
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location great, good breakfast, quiet. recommend for sure
7.5 Good
Pros: Amalia B&B was cute with a basic breakfast. A nice plus were the cows on the backyard (two normal, two highland). We had probably one of the best rooms /the furthest away from the breakfast room: windows to two directions allowing cooling off the room after a hot summer day, and no noice from the common areas coming to our end. Our room was very clean and the middle bathroom was clean. However, our friends had problems with both the noice and cleanliness.
Cons: MISLEADING INFO:/PICS Pictures of the B&B are misleading, as they show there would be a cafe with large selection on salty & sweet things to eat. We arrived around 6pm and had counted on our dinner with the cafe selection of sandwiches. However, as we arrived there were only a few sweet pastries, and it was obvious there had been no salty food available since there was no "glass shelf" for foods there unlike in the photos. We asked the girl at reception do they have anything salty to eat, and the answer was no. LOCATION: there are no restaurants nearby. The closest one (thai place) is 6km away and closes at 19:30. --> Be prepared with your own food or if you have a car, drive to Marienhamn. The staff stayed in a separate room and you always had to call for them if you had anything to ask - would be nicer if they could for example sit by the reception the time they are there. At breakfast, no one really took care of things missing, and for example porridge was out by 8:30. The staff then started to make more, but it took over 30 minutes for a new kettle of porridge to be ready. As an advice to the B&B - could you perhaps start making more already before the first kettle is out, since apparently this has been a problem also for others. CLEANLINESS: No handsoap in the small toilet! Very unhygienic. Our friends who arrived 2 days later complained their room had not been cleaned and that the bathrooms were not clean at all - so apparently the level of cleanliness depends on the day. Guests who stayed in the rooms next to the breakfast room or opposite of the bathrooms complained you could hear everything to their rooms - the doors were very thin and hence that might have bothered families with small children / whoever wanted to sleep in.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, nice breakfast and nice staff. This would be my first choice if visiting Åland again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Houses clean, rooms clean and cozy, breakfast perfect, all exceeded our expectation. The host even lent us the bikes to go around and drove us to downtown when public traffic was down, which helped us to a great extent.
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was ok, the selection of tea would need some improvement, though (forget all Lipton tea, black tea is always good to have). The cottage on the yard was nice and it was fun (for the kids) to have cows as neighbors. Lemonade factory was fun to visit. I was pleased to get information about midsummer happenings close by beforehand by email.
Cons: We were told beforehand that it's possible to bbq, but the facilities for that weren't exactly sufficient.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cozy place in the countryside, you can easily say you feel like at home. Convenient check-in, the owner left keys for us as we were a bit late. And it was warm in the room and comfy to sleep, that was the most important thing for us.
Cons: Most rooms are quite close to each other and to the living/dining room, so you can hear pretty much everything happening around.

7.5 Good
Pros: Calm surrounding, very small cabins with electricity. Common kitchen needs an update. Wi-fi only near the reception, which is a few hundred meters from the lodge.
Cons: The cabins are indeed small. Mind your heads when entering! The kitchenware could be a bit newer.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location, cottage #33 where we lived)
Cons: Cost... there’s a question about payment via booking.com... however when I came reception they charged me saying that they haven’t charged me via booking... and the cost charged was 95 euro (instead of 65) which included bedsheets that I haven’t ordered separately as it wasn’t clear that it’s not included into original cost...
5.8 Okay
Pros: The cabin was fine, nothing wrong with it price worthy, The customer service was alright as well. They offered free shower indoors in a building nearby which was nice.
Cons: the location was not the best, the beach was terrible, they had let the beach grow over without doing anything about it.
6.7 Good
Pros: The sauna and the company of the neighbours. The sauna/shower/bathrooms are all newly building, common kithen and cabins very old..
Cons: The pillow was all bulky and uncomfortable. The small beach closest to our cabin was not so nice. But there was another beach som 100 meters away.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The surroundings set next to the sea, very quiet and calm. Very up to date and clean showers/WC.
Cons: The breakfast was too basic with overcooked eggs and it was all jammed onto a small corner table that created queues even with just a few guests. The shared kitchen facilities were old and worn down.
