The garden and pool area was nice. It was very over-priced compared to other, nicer hotels we have booked through the website. It is remote, which is not ordinarily a problem, however, the prices at the hotel for food, drink were relatively high and there was little alternative in the area. They advertise their 'water palace' as one of the hotel's amenities but there is an excessive charge for this facility. We were misinformed about breakfast times and were not accommodated having arrived ten minutes late.
We did not like the atmosphere or the restaurant we checked out after one night Lots of people walking around in White dressing gowns till 10.30 at night b even throu the lobby area
The location. Too many noisy people in the swimming pools and SPAs; awful translation of messages into English; dirty pools; noisy corridors; bad quality of food and very expensive; awful room service (only till 22:15 and very few things). It does not deserve more than 1 star.
We had a very ejoyable (complimentary) 90 minutes or so in the 'Palacio de Agua' -- a funpool with whirlpool, waterfalls, wave machines, etc. All of this was very well organised with robes and flip-flops in rooms
Useful location between Pontrevedra and Ourense,a most attractive house. The gardens are the best facility, complete with picnic tables and an outdoor swimming pool, just right after a hot drive. The house is still a stately house. In really hot weather, our room had only one opening door/window, so rather too hot, even overnight.
The most of the rooms doesn't have windwons and the place is very humid.
if you planned to stay just one day ibn this hotel - dont! reserve at least for 2-3 days. hotel is beautifull hacienda and surrounding nature in perfect for relaxation
The hotel permises Groud-floor room, window difficult to open
The gardens were lovely and the main hotel had character No windows in our stable block accomodation so very 'stuffy' and hot especially at night. Tv had an awful reception, no point having it, it was unwatchable. Thin walls very noisy, I could hear people urinating next door, talking and coughing up phlegm in the morning.
the house ( hotel ) was grand. nice setting we only spent one day could have spent longer out of the way, had to go out in the car for a meal at night
shabby grandeur of the grounds lack of privacy due to paper thin walls and very noisy plumbing
Nice envolvent space.
Everything just perfect, including the manager/owner of the Pazo. The place is beautiful, the surroundings as well. We are sorry to spend only a day there.
good clean rooms friendly staff
Near beach Bathroom very small
Location right on the coast would have been good if the weather hadn't been so terrible. Popular restaurant.
The location, right on a public beach. The views out to the bridge in the distance were really nice. The restaurant posted a very nice menu but, when we were seated, we found out that only a very few dishes were available.
Parking Restaurant smell at all the time, old facilities, not proper reception
The staff were very friendly. When they found out that we were walking the Camino, they gave us muffins and apples for the road. The room was cold, but we took long hot showers and jumped in bed.
A very good shower, free parking, good buffet breakfast and kindness of the staff. A old furniture of the bedroom but nothing that deserves a negarive point to the hotel.
The helpful attitude of the staff .
