Pros: Alfredo help in everything and know perfect the area. Very kind man
Pros: Amazing mountainside location, and an extremely quirky and interesting property. Hikes further up to the Col were fantastic. The village itself has a slightly creepy but very beautiful vibe. If you like wooden chicken figurines, this is a must-stay!
Cons: Breakfast wasn't as impressive as we'd hoped.

Pros: Nice place with a personal touch from the owner. Amazing breakfast - home made or from the neighborhood products. Close to Point St martin, a nice village.
Pros: Simona is an extremely gracious and helpful host. Her experience in the hospitality industry is obvious. She provided great information about sites to see, places to explore and great food to experience. Her breakfast feast is amazing: Homemade bread, pastries, jams, cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruits, charcuterie, eggs, coffee and juice. The Lys Valley is a fantastic area to experience, with B&B Maison Vallomy as your home base!
Pros: Great place to stay. Extraordinary breakfast. Superclean rooms. Quiet. Romantic. Very generos. Thank you Simone.
Pros: The breakfast was great! The owner was very nice and friendly and did everything to accomodate us.
Pros: We gave the owner our detailed impression. For this medium , suffice to say that this B&B is not to be missed.
Cons: That we had to leave
Pros: Gorgeous location overlooking the town and valley. Easy access to outdoor activities. Fantastic host with lots of helpful information and bountiful breakfast.
Cons: Parking is a little far away, but manageable.
Pros: Amazing view. Fresh mountain air. Helpful and nice owner. She is very kind. Parking spot was very important to me and it's definitely enough.

Pros: This place is absolutely stunning. Views are incredible. Breakfast is good. A lot to do in the valley.
Cons: Location is 10 minute drive up valley. No restaurant or anything like that so anytime you want to eat (other than breakfast) you have to drive a good bit. Valley itself is great but it is a bit far from some Valley Aosta sites (e.g. Gran Paradiso).
Pros: I had a wonderful week at Le Petit Coeur. It's a beautifully renovated old house, all in wood and stone. The hosts were super nice and were keen to communicate despite the language barrier - here the smartphone translator came handy. I admired the views, the tranquility and remoteness of the place, which however came along with the necessity to have a car to get there. The extra bonus was the breakfast, an abundant selection of exclusively home-made or local food. Hope to come again soon.
Pros: Very good hotel with nice views. Very good service.
Pros: The staff is super friendly and helpful. It is very clean and cozy.
Cons: It’s a bit far up the mountain. You need to have a car to reach it.
Pros: The view and the rustic feeling of the room!

Rooms are spacious, new and have a friendly interior. While the building has been the old station, trains still stop in front, so you can reach this hotel easily by train. We can surely recommend this location!

Cons: Nothing, it’s all good.
Pros: Spacious room - very clean. Good location to visit the Val d'Aosta
Cons: Breakfast was not included. Paid 7 Euro each for little choice and not worth the extra expense.

Pros: Very cosy and heartily place, they even cooked every day a special 3- course- meal only for me because of an allergy. Absolutely recommendable, thank you very much again for looking after me so well. Will stay here again soon.
Pros: Beautifully decorated and cozy. Great service, personnel seem glad to work there and try hard to make guests feel comfortable. Quiet location. Nice, little town.
Cons: A lot of steep stairs to go from one floor to the other.
Pros: Is it possible to give a hotel a score higher than 10? If so, this would be the place. We loved every single thing about LeCoeur du Pont. Donnas is the most charming village I've ever seen. And the historic home that houses the hotel now was built in the 1300s. Much of the original structure is still visible, and the decor (I don't know if it's Medieval or from that house, but it's old and beautiful) is perfect. The owner is an excellent chef. We had the set meal the first night we were there, and it was to die for. VERY good and priced well for what you get. The second night, we were the only guests, and we didn't want her to go to so much trouble, so we asked for spaghetti. Best we ever had. And breakfast! OMG.
Cons: The parking area is a little hard to find. Ask the owner for directions, or look online (I found the lot easily because I found another traveler's comments and printed them off). Google Maps won't get you there.
Pros: Nice and helpful personnel.
Cons: A little bit difficult to find.
Pros: This lovely little establishment has the full flavor of a mountain home. And wonderful staff that bring it to life
Cons: We are older so,stairs were our only challenge. Nonetheless the staff carried our vast amount of luggage...with a smile.
When you stay at Villa Giuditta in Gaby, you'll be near ski lifts and within a 5-minute drive of Gressoney Ski Area. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very comfortable apartment and very well kept. Super friendly staff. And good location - many eating options close by as well as two markets. Not too far from the slopes - 30min by car.
Cons: The was no breakfast available on the days I stayed there even though it was announced that there would be. I thought it was pricy given that the property does not offer anything other than the apartment and wi-fi. However, there were many qualities as well.
With a stay at B&B Jasmyn in Donnas, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Bard Fortress and Ponte Romano. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: BELLS! ALL NIGHT. NO aircon as requested. Breakfast in a café 1km away. Owner oblivious to problems.
Pros: The owner is excellent.
Pros: Comfortable room with shared bathroom, kitchen
Cons: Long walk to city center
Pros: Clean, comfortable, friendly The bed was arranged so neatly with chocolates, really nice. Very dog friendly. The breakfast was very tasty and lots of choice. Good coffee too.
Pros: Laura is very friendly and provided us a wonderful breakfast! There was so much she allowed us to wrap up and take it for our lunch! She went out of her way to get our Via Francigena credentials stamped by the parish priest while we ate this morning. The location is very quiet and right on the Via Francigena alternative route. The beds are comfortable.
Cons: Wifi is advertised but it was impossible to get online, even very spotty to get data on 4G. This is understandable, since the location is at the base of a hill but this should be taken off the listing.
Pros: Breakfast was very good and the lady serving it was very nice.
Cons: Old-fashioned house
Pros: We arrived very late (11 pm) and left early (8 am), but no problem for our host. A very kind lady who prepared us a lovely breakfast at 7 am.
Pros: We entered a well designed old Italian apartment instead of a room. Very kind hospitality and complete Italian breakfast. Highly recommended. I would choose it again.
With a stay at Albergo Carla in Pont-Saint-Martin, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Bard Fortress and Ponte Romano. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Right on the Via Francigena.
Cons: Limited breakfast and low lighting...turn up the lights!
Pros: Small Hotel with Big Heart
Pros: Not much. It was very tired, loo seat loose, window shutter broken. Lady host quite helpful.
Cons: Extremely busy road location. Wifi unreliable upstairs, everything past its best.
Pros: We had stayed at this Hotel 45 years ago and we wanted to go back to see what is was like now. We were rather disappointed as it was not the same as it was then. The owner was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was basic, coffee was good.
Cons: The pillows were hard and uncomfortable. We were disappointed to find that it was run down and not been renovated. Very basic.
Pros: Carla, or who I assume was Carla, was very accommodating. I was walking with a back pack on the Via Francigena and had injured my neck so that I could no longer carry it. She kindly agreed to drive or packs to our B&B in Ivrea.
Cons: It is too far from the center of Pont-Saint-Martin. It isn't really in Pont-Saint-Martin but Carema, the next town. Everything is outdated and run down and the shower is too small for all but the smallest people.
Pros: Lady extremely helpful, room lovely & cool on a very hot day & had balcony comfy bed
Cons: Out only draw bk was it was quite a walk to the town & the weather was threatening rain
