Hotel was easy to find, had very helpful and friendly staff and room was well equipped and clean - luxury after camping in a tent for a week! Our daughter didn't like sleeping on the third bed near to the floor and near the door.
Good design...shutters to block the sound of the highway were particularly good Restaurant food slow for my dish
Quite easy to find from the motor way a lot of noise from the motorway traffic and adjoining rooms, walls are paper thin
I liked the small water boiler to make some tea or coffee.
clean, renewed bathroom
Clan and efficient hotel with friendly staff.
Friendly reception,good dinner and breakfast
Clean & comfortable
I lend in Paris 22.00 so hotel was closed at 1.00. Actually your reservation was no good. Check-in machine didn't recognise your pin:1778. So I stay in front of the hotel 30 min. And try to take key. I did new reservation 75 Euro and finally I've got room. As you understand I had problem. I hope you will not charge me two times for one room.
It is very central in a pretty little French town on the corner of the pedestrianised main shopping street. The manager came and cleaned the cobwebs from around the window (inside) after we arrived.
The manager was friendly and helpful Basic facilities- not even a kettle in the room.
this hotel is very centrally situated and the manager was most obliging and spoke excellent English. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The outside appearance was alittle off-putting but the interior had a certain old world charm.Further, it is situated near the centre but in a quiet side-street.
None of the above really apply, it is a 'quirky' little hotel in the centre of the old town. This was my third visit.
Convenient. Clean. Well priced. For what we paid there was nothing we could criticise.
Very quaint and attractive area No mirror in room (only in bathroom). Breakfast poor - please..no coffee in a vacuum flask! We come to France for a French experience.
Excellent attention from patron. 2 of the 3 rooms were of a high standard 3rd room very small and hot, but at same price as other 2.
The service and expecially the helpful manager, the day of arrival you can enter the hotel at 16.30 hours. When you have travelled that day for several hours it's a pity you cannot enter the hotel earlier to leave your luggage and for resting.
central location as name suggests helpful staff printed out street map for us
Simple but sufficient food and accommodation for the price
Very peaceful, friendly and most helpful staff. More space for my clothes would have been useful - drawers, shelves etc.
Pleasant welcome (in English), easy parking and all rooms being on ground floor Disappointed to find the restaurant was full when we arrived, however a recommendation was made for a restaurant in the next village which turned out to be excellent.
Proprietor lovely, sadly the hotel is undergoing some building work, the room we were given was well below standard, sloping floor, uncomfortable bed, draughty windows, air conditioner unit with wires and tubes hanging out, really the room should have been closed until it was completely habitable The proprietor who has great charm
There is nothing good to say about this appalling hotel. We have never stayed in a worse place. Logis company should be ashamed to list it.
A very warm welcome, food excellent. The hotel is actively upgrading everything but this did not affect our stay in any way.
The village was very pleasant and clean and nice to walk around in the evening. Apart from canal and park not much else there. The hotel was not open on arrival at 5:00pm. There was a small sticker on the door saying open at 6:00pm. Eventually had to phone the owner to open the doors.Food was ok but selection was limited and expensive.
Nice location. Shower was good. Price was reasonable. In the summer I'm sure it's a great place to stay, see below.... It was October and the owner had gone on holiday, so no breakfast, no bar, and no meals being served in the restaurant of the auberge. In fact nowhere to eat or drink in the town/village. They should have just said the hotel wasn't open. Room had a few DIY jobs to finish off, taps not secured to sink, pipework above shower, etc.
