Pros: Jacqueline was the perfect hostess, & her house & property are beautiful. Sharing breakfast with her other guests & talking with her was a great way to start each day. Breakfast is simple French style, but Jacqueline's home-made jams & fresh fruit from her garden were a fantastic perk. And the swimming pool! And the view!

5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
7.9 Good
Pros: Easy to Find next to highway clean and good value for money
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location for a stopover, just a moment away from the A20. The pool is a refreshing dip. The staff were polite and welcoming. The room was nice, as were the ensuite facilities. A quiet tranquil place. Nice help-yourself breakfast.
Cons: The restaurant wasn't available (closed on Mondays during the summer season). However, we were offered an aciette anglaise (sort of a posh ploughman's) which was fine. No hair dryer in the room, no fridge or water available either. We were furnished with a chilled carafe and glasses on request. You need to pay an extra 8 euros for the dog!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool
Cons: No air conditioning
6.5 Good
Pros: We arrived very late as we managed to get lost due to the roadworks that blocked the usual access - our sat nag did not help but that is not the hotel’s fault. Good sized room but with a slight musty smell, good shower but bizarrely with a separate WC which meant we had to exit the WC and go into the bathroom to wash our hands. Bed was large and comfy, good parking outside. Not far from the A20 when the roadworks ar not blocking the road.
Cons: Our room smelt a bit musty, but it lost that when the window was opened. The shower was great but the towels were on the small size.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: stopped here on a roadtrip to spain, from the moment we stepped in to the hotel, we were made to feel like old friends. Check in was a relaxed affair, and we were fully informed of meal times , asked if we needed anything at all, and directed to our room quickly and efficiently. we had initially decided not to eat at the hotel, but were so tired after a long drive we asked if it was ok to change our minds over food, (at check in we were asked if we planned to eat as chef was out buying fresh for that evening and they needed rough numbers). The bar area is large and welcoming, the restaurant light and airy, the food? they offered a set dinner of 3 courses, ( two choices of starter, main, and dessert ) and quite frankly my meal was amazing! Breakfast did not disappoint either, a well presented continental style buffet with plenty of choice and really great coffee. if you stay anywhere, stopover here.
Cons: A little awkward to access due to new roads built in the area, we could see the hotel barely fifty metres over a barrier on the new road, but took two drive-bys to see the access off the first small roundabout and up a short partly paved road. As you often find on the continent , There were no tea making facilities in the room, but a quick word at reception produced all we needed. very happy overall with this hotel.
5.8 Okay
Pros: arrival staff
Cons: no smoke detector room too hot and no fan very poor breakfast poor quality bed door lock and key virtually unusable departure staff
4.6 Okay
Pros: Very well located just close to the highway exit without having the inconveniences of the highway
Cons: Hotel desperately needs updating
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very convenient as a stopover as it is near the Cahors Sud motorway junction. I have now stayed here twice and it has proved a reliable place at reasonable value. There is plenty of parking and I appreciated being able to dine there as I had already done a long drive. Competent rather than special.
Cons: More easily adjustable heating would be an advantage. I would comment that I had to run the tap for a while before there was any hot water - but, once through, there was no subsequent shortage of hot water. No major dislikes or problems.
