Pros: It is a unique place. Incredible place, great people.
Cons: I like everything
When you stay at El Faixero Evolucion in Cinctorres, you'll be 6 minutes by car from Rambla de Sellumbres. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
Pros: Really enjoyed my stay here. Room was clean, comfortable. Good if you´re travelling to nearby town Morella. The town where the hotel is located is nice and quiet. Breakfast was A+.
Pros: It is an extremely modern hotel in a very small village. The room was great with ample of space. Food was very good.
Cons: Maybe the restaurant is not in the hotel, but it is just across the road.
When you stay at El Faixero Tradicional in Cinctorres, you'll be within the region of Valdelinares Ski Resort.
Pros: Presumably a family run business, and they were all very friendly and helpful.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, included local cheese, sausage and cured ham.
Cons: Everything was fine except for the main course at dinner. The sauce of the monkfish was completely over salted. I told the waitress, but there wasn't much of a response.
Pros: I couldn’t say just one thing. Everything was superb, beginning with the owners and staff, following with the restaurant, and keeping on with the general atmosphere of the hotel
Pros: The waitress was really kind and hospitable the service great and lovely terrace.
Pros: The hotel is traditionally Spanish, lots of wood, and tiled floors although the bedrooms have wooden floors. The staff were all very friendly, and helpful. The food is very good, and the evening menu was 20 euros and consisted of several plates of various items, both hot and cold, calamares, pigs cheek, croquettes, bread and ali-oli, and were more than sufficient to satisfy our hunger after a long journey. There are also several items to choose from the menu. The second evening we were there we ate at a gastro bar called 'Ring' that sells pizzas, bocadillos and various tapas. This too was very good food. Apart from those 2 places, it didn't seem that there was anywhere else to eat in the town. Our room was clean and comfortable and good value for money for bed and breakfast for 2 people. The room did have a table top fan, which was very welcome, as our visit was during the hot month of August. I think the room may have been uncomfortably hot without the fan. There isn't much to do around the town of Cinctorres, although it is an archaeological place where dinosaur remains have been found. Morella is only about 15 minutes drive away, and quite interesting to visit.
Cons: everything was fine.
Featuring free Wi-Fi, La Fonda Moreno offers attractive rooms in the centre of the beautiful walled city of Morella. Its stylish restaurant serves a selection of traditional Spanish cuisine. Each air-conditioned room at La Fonda Moreno has bright décor with tiled floors and a modern bathroom. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV. The Fonda Moreno is just 250 metres from Morella Castle, while the city’s aqueduct is 10 minutes’ walk away. The beaches at Peñíscola can be reached in 1.5 hours by car.
Pros: The room was wonderful. Really comfortable beds and bathroom. Great breakfast every morning. Staff were very kind and helpful with everything. The restaurant also had excellent food - very professional. And overall, it was great value for money. And Morella itself is a real gem of a town to visit.
Cons: Probably only the fact that the hours for comida are a bit restricted. You have to arrive between the appointed times and when you’re out sightseeing, that can sometimes be difficult.
Pros: Good location in centre of Morella Room comfortable and quiet Excellent breakfast included.
Pros: For a 2 star hotel, it was very clean, the location is perfect, right in the middle of the town, the staff very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.
Cons: The breakfast, some yoghurt, wholegrain bread and cereals would be nice,
Pros: Location, nice and central. Friendly welcome from staff (Bianca was great) Free WiFi, breakfast included was varied, really good size room that had a lovely balcony with a clean and well equipped bathroom. It was just off the gr7 but Morella is a must on this route and I didn't want to leave.
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Very nice room. Modern hotel in centre of town and friendly staff. I was told breakfast was at nine which was too late as I was walking. However when I came down at 8:20 to check out it was ready and proved to be excellent. Didn't have dinner there as it started at nine and I was hungry, however with hindsight I should have eaten there.
Cons: Meal times ok for tourists but too late for walkers
Pros: Good location, good price, good staff
Cons: The single double pillow (prefer individual ones). Air conditioning don’t seem to be working optimally.
Pros: Lovely small hotel located near the center of Morella ideally positioned for the old Fortress and boutique shops. Super restaurant on the first floor for dinner, lunch etc with a great menu choice for an inclusive price. WiFi in room was very strong and free to use. Room rate exceptionally low for a couple sharing, highly recommended.
Cons: Due to the nature of Morella being a ancient walled town car parking was not close by, there is however nothing the hotel can do to avoid the issue. The parking is outside the main wall and is free to park so not so bad.
Pros: the hotel was almost n the center of the old town every thing in walking distance breakfast excellent beautiful medieval hill village lots of places nearby to visit Not that far from Motoland the race track for world superbike races
Cons: nothing really however as it a hill village there are lots of steps to get to and fro to restaurants and bars take your time and the gin bar on the main street do a mean G&T so worth the effort
Pros: The room and accommodation was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. When open the restaurant evening meal was very good.
Cons: The restaurant was closed on the evening of arrival (Sunday) as were all other restaurants, as such, we had to go to another Hotel (The Cardinal Ram) in order to get anything to eat. In fact other than a Pizzeria ALL the restaurants were closed every evening. The hotel restaurant was open on other evenings, however, did not open until 9pm! as we seem to have been the only people in the hotel there was obviously no atmosphere! Also the breakfast which was basic but adequate was served in the cafeteria rather than the restaurant which was disappointing. We feel that booking.com should have made us aware that hotel and Morella facilities would be limited in Oct, this would very possibly have changed the time of our visit.
Pros: really friendly staff went out of their way to accomodate us with an a tasty freshly made breakfast for our early departure..all with a smile ..also drinks at bar very reasonable and helpful...hotel very central for castle , restaurants , walls and pubs
With a stay at Hostal La Muralla in Morella, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Sexenni Museum and Arciprestal Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Friendly owner and very helpful. We were ther in March and the weather was very cold, we have a room facing the front with large windows and felt the room was very cold, she then changed us to a smaller room at the back and was much warmer.
Cons: There are parking spaces along the road infront of the hotel, only when you are lucky if there is a space available, otherwise you need to park on the other side of town.
Pros: Got me a gluten free breakfast. Lady owner very helpful
This rural house just 2 km from Morella, north Valencia, offers wonderful views of the town. It offers apartments and rooms, which have access to a shared kitchen, and there is free internet access. The apartments have a bedroom and a lounge area with satellite TV and a private kitchen. The rooms all have central heating, and either a shared or a private bathroom. There is a garden with a children’s play area and a barbecue. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling. Local sights include the towns of Mirambel, Cantavieja and Iglesuela del Cid.
Pros: Excellent location. Big house with plenty of parking which is rare in this location. A very short notice booking, same day. David couldn’t have been more helpful from sending directions ( which you should pay attention to as it wouldn’t be easy to find without) to a meet and greet with tea and an upgrade for me to a whole apartment ! Shame I was only staying one night. This is now on my short list and if ever I’m passing close I’ll be sure to see if there’s room for me again.
Cons: No downside
Pros: Very friendly guests, helping us to visit Morella with useful hints. The view to Morella under the morning sun is magnificent.
Pros: The location and hosts are outstanding. Highly recommended. We were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived until we left. In fact we stayed chatting with the hosts, David from Scotland and his wife from Russia for an hour after check-out. The views from the casa of the town with the castle and church on top of the hill are picture postcard!
Pros: The house located in a quiet and peaceful area. At the same time it gives you an outstanding view of town that stands up on a hill. This place can be a good base for exploring both the local area and region as a whole which are quite unique. The hosts Dave and Iia were very hospitable and kind, they gave us a lot of interesting and helpful information and it was a great pleasure to talk to them. We wish we could stay much longer!
Pros: David and Ia were the best hosts you can wish for! They are very friendly people and in for a good laugh and chat! The view is incredible and they help you around if you need to know something!
Pros: The owner was great
Cons: Directions were not good, a sign on the road would have helped
Pros: We would definitely recommend Casa Morella! The place is very clean, has a fantastic view and, on the top of all, Dave was very welcoming and gave us great advices. Thank you!
Pros: Dave was friendly and most helpful
Pros: The owner was very friendly and helpful. But the place was difficult to find as it has no address and no sign outside.
Cons: The bed wasn’t long enough as it had an old fashioned board at the end. No breakfast available.
With a stay at Hotel Cardenal Ram in Morella, you'll be just steps from Sexenni Museum and San Francisco Convent. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: It is a beautiful ancient hilltop city, although it is a bit touristy.
Cons: Parking and the hike up to the hotel is a bit challenging with luggage, but that is part of Morella.
Pros: It is an old house remodalated for a very confortable and modern hotel. Excellent location. Good wifi
Cons: It would have been good to have family rooms
Cons: If you go in the car it’s difficult to find it. It’s prohibited to enter to the city, so the public parking for the tourists is away of the central part (€2,50). For the first you have to cross almost all parking as the hotel is situated on the opposite side. And then you have to go up with your luggage.
Cons: Need better directions to park your vehicle
Pros: Great location, Wonderful staff
Pros: Town beautiful and easy to get to sites to see
Cons: Parking difficult staff didn’t speak hardly any English breakfast Buffett very limited
Pros: Room was clean, comfortable, well-equipped and the staff were very pleasant. The public areas were “historic“ in style. Although there was no car parking available at the hotel, hardly surprising in the middle of a mediaeval town (!) we were directed to secure underground parking at a cost of €12 per night, but this was very welcome.
Cons: Our major criticism would be the food which we would rate as average. In particular the breakfast lacked such essentials as fruit salad and the availability of eggs which we have found to be pretty universal in other places we have used in Spain. Improvement is needed in this area.
Pros: Great location. Beautiful building, beautiful room. Clean.
Cons: The staff was not very friendly or helpful. The mattrasses were pretty bad, that you rolled to the middle of the bed. Not very comfortable. We wanted to have breakfast, but could not find anybody to make us a cup of coffee. Asked the front desk, but nobody showed. We had breakfast elsewhere.
Pros: The place is nice and in the main street. big rooms and very nicely designed. my room had the best beds/matresses of the whole trip to spain. I slept like a baby.
Cons: the breakfast was OK. nothing remarkable.
Pros: The building and decor.
Cons: The access to the hotel.
With a stay at Hotel Rey Don Jaime in Morella, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Time of Dinosaurs Museum and Arciprestal Museum. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: good location, nice breakfast... the restaurant menu is also good.
Cons: small rooms but ok for an overnight stay
Pros: Tidy hotel with a great breakfast and wonderful staff
Pros: Hotel is very nice, rooms are big and comfy, shower is hot and has good water pressure. Breakfast is nice with a predominance of sweet pastries, less savory options. Wifi is strong.
Cons: For such a small town it gets very noisy very early in the morning, if you're facing the main street. We had dinner and breakfast there and we were given certain prices for them, but turns out VAT was not included, so we ended up paying 20 euros more than we expected on the final bill - I thought it would be fair to mention full price from the beginning, not to be surprised upon checkout.
Pros: Loved the hotel and loved everything about Morella. Although it did rain quite a bit. I will order the sunshine for our next visit. Loved the little bars, and all their town's history
Cons: We had to park the motorbike outside the town in the car park although the hotel had allowed a few bikers to store their bikes in the back of the hotel.
Pros: Bed is comfortable and very clean with great views in an Excellent location
Cons: The air conditioning needs redoing
Pros: Location is perfect
Cons: Interior of the room is outdated.....
Pros: Excellent location and super friendly staff
Pros: In the middle of town
Cons: Garage packing was down hill or outside town walls at night however other bikes arrived and parked outside hotel. Garage door wouldn’t open in morning until we went back up hill and got somebody from hotel to open manually.
Pros: Nice clean room, Helpful staff.
Cons: Difficult logistics to reach hotel by car. Need to park far away from hotel.
Pros: Very welcoming in great location Lovely staff
With a stay at Palau dels Osset in Forcall, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Time of Dinosaurs Museum and Arciprestal Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and an elevator.
Pros: We stopped here 2 days before & returned because it was so lovely, located on a very attractive square & beautifully appointed. Astonishing value for money at €52, almost unbelievable for the sheer quality of the hotel.
Cons: Our problem but a shame the staff spoke virtually no English otherwise just a great place
Pros: Great location at an extremely quiet village. Super helpful staff!
Pros: We've loved the building, the big rooms and all the decoration. The staff was very nice.
Cons: We only didn't like the breakfast because it was very poor.
Pros: Excellent value for money. Very clean and comfortable. Great location and easy parking.
Cons: It's clear they made an effort on interior design, but it's a little bit odd
Pros: A traditional building that has been renovated in an incredibly modern, stylish & luxurious way. Brilliant. We stopped in a suite which was gorgeous. We considered the room was worth the price of €188 as it was the weekend of the Aragon MotoGp
Cons: We don't care for the use of glass walls & doors between toilets & washrooms preferring privacy. Had a disappointing dinner although a replacement meal was offered. Nevertheless, would return.

With a stay at HOTEL EL CID in Morella, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Arciprestal Museum and Sexenni Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Restaurant and bar did not open for food the first night and the bed was like a rack. We booked a double bed but got 2 singles...receptionist spoke no english at all and needed a guest to explain. Receptiinist also ran the bar.
Pros: Room with a view
Pros: The food was great with perfect service and big amounts. Room very good decorated and furnished. Big balcony and views. Very nice customer service received at all times.
Cons: Nothing else than that we found a cigarette butt under a chair in the room.
Pros: Excellent and local speciality food for breakfast and other meals. Excellent location. Helpful staff. Can even make a good cup of tea! Great view.
Cons: No air conditioning or fan in the room. Even with the windows open all night in September it was too hot.
Pros: location, view (and balcony), price
Cons: not horrible but you can feel the matress springs a bit
Pros: location: excellent location next to the ramparts of the old walls and very convenient for us that we arrived by bus from Castello (the bus stop is just 30 meters away). From the hotel you can reach the main street of Old Town in 5’ (walking uphill the numerous steps, don’t forget Morella is a small town located on a hill with a castle on top). If you come by car good luck with the parking (that’s a big problem in general for this village in high season). room: we had a double ensuite room (46e per night). It was small/medium size but very clean. What we liked most was the great view from our small balcony (facing the old walls and beyond). service/staff: welcoming and helpful staff although limited in english. Free wi-fi with good signal through out the hotel Breakfast/meal: There is a café on the ground floor where they serve breakfast. It wasn’t included in a room (7,5euros extra per person) but we skipped that because we had to depart early in the morning (the café was open though so we could at least take a coffee). Morella has plenty of café, bars and restaurants to choose from anyway
Cons: -bed could be more comfortable -kind of noisy (so just wish you have respectful visitors near by) -there was no A/C but the temperature was ideal in mid September
Pros: Location good value for money especially as it included breakfast and dinner
Pros: Room very clean and comfortable. Great food in the restaurant and good breakfast.
Pros: Lovely location. Good breakfast.
Cons: Bar / Restaurant closed on Sunday nights
Pros: Location at the entrance to Morella is good with parking readily available. There is a local supermarket nearby, which proved to be handy... (see below).
Cons: When we checked in on 10.13.2010 for our one-night stay we were told by the desk attendant about the time of breakfast and its price. He also recommended local restaurants as there would be no dinner service. So the next morning, it was an extremely unfortunate experience for (a hungry) us to learn from his female colleague, that no breakfast was being served at all....
Pros: The location was excellent - easy parking and close to the centre of this small, steep, town. Some pleasant, inexpensive local restaurants and bars, some expensive ones too! Spectacu;ar views from the walls.
Cons: Some obvious water damage to the ceiling which made it unsightly, but not too off-putting.
Pros: It was clean.could have done with a pillow, there was just a hard bolster.food was simple but good.
Cons: staff were a bit thin on the ground and not too friendly.
Pros: Hotel lovely situated in historic town. Has bar visited by locals -- very nice atmosphere.
Cons: Limited parking area.
Pros: Excellent location and good value for money. Balcony and views.
Cons: Small, uncomfortable beds. Very basic room.
Pros: Good views. A good location for parking the car. Lots of steps to the main street but that is Morella!
Cons: Not much information available but we found the tourist office.
Pros: Location is simply stunning - the hotel is just inside the ancient medieval city walls, overlooking the valley and surrounding mountains and countryside. Rooms are clean, bright, modern and comfortable. We had a 4th floor room facing the city walls which gave us superb views, but be aware there are rooms which face the other way at the back of the hotel which probably don't have a view. Breakfast at €6.00 per person was of excellent quality, buffet style, good variety and plentiful. Staff speak very little English but we did not have any problems using our phrase book, and they are very friendly.
With a stay at Hotel Del Pastor in Morella, you'll be just steps from Arciprestal Museum and Sexenni Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Nice location. Air conditioned. Clean. Reasonably good breakfast that was included. Deserves its 3 star rating.
Cons: No elevator. Staff very aloof, not friendly. Did not make us feel welcome. But did answer our questions when asked in Spanish. No English spoken.
Pros: Fantastic location
Pros: One of the best hotels we have stayed at in Spain. Very nice facilities and new fixtures in the rooms ; extremely clean, helpful staff; decent breakfast included
Pros: Hotel is centrally located in the town, close to the shops and restaurants ( restaurants open for dinner at 21:00). Parking available off site (Several blocks away) for 9 euro in a covered parking.
Cons: Hotel is “tired” everything is pretty old, shower needs new curtains, and shower head ( at bare minimum) shower curtains looked disgusting, all cowered in mold. Shower head was half clogged up with mineral deposits. Breakfast consisted of cheap pre-packaged croissants, pre-packaged toaster bread and low quality cheese and sausage. Fruits at breakfast looked super old.
Pros: Old authentic room keeping the old time and mood, with great mountains views. Very close to everything. Excellent location!
Cons: Great location, in the hart of the old village. Everything close. Parking, restaurants, castle.. Very clean room, great view from the little balcony. We had nice breakfast included. Polite staff, very formal though :) i recommended this Hotel!!
Pros: Clean, comfortable, heat system was working perfectly)
Pros: lovely hotel, quiet location really close to the centre, great views, clean and comfortable. We reserved a parking space, recommendable. Great short break
Cons: There are alot of steps in this town, for reduced mobility people it's quite difficult.
Cons: A la carte restaurant stated, but NO restaurant on site & associated restaurant closed.
Set in the pretty village of Olocau del Rey, the La Casa Del Llano house offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and forests. It has a garden with a terrace and barbeque facilities. This charming, heated country house features stone walls and wooden finishes. Its lounge includes a fireplace, as well as sofas, a TV and a DVD player. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, hob, and dining table. Information about the area and interesting places to visit is available to guests. Olocau Castle, which dates from the 10th century, is located nearby. La Casa Del Llano can be easily accessed via the A-226 road. The ancient walled city of Morella is around 30 minutes’ drive away and there you will find a selection of shops and restaurants.
Pros: The place was absolutely fabulous. It is placed in the middle of farming country way up in the mountains. The only neighbors were sheep and goats and the only light on the horizon was our own and a full moon. This is a place to choose if you really want to relax away from it all. We came here after 9 days of festivals in Valencia (Fallas) and the the total calm of this place was just what we needed. The señora that welcomed us was very helpful and we were left to our selves, just as we wanted. This is the other Spain away from the beaches and the big cities. This is the Spain you very seldom meet with villages clinging to remote mountain tops and agriculture done the old way. All in a landscape of stunning beauty! Just go there, you won't be disappointed.
Cons: Nothing could be better. It was perfect. If you have the right frame of mind.
With a stay at Cases Rural Morella in Morella, you'll be just steps from Sexenni Museum and Arciprestal Museum.
Pros: Stunning location a little out the way... everything you need and well maintained.
Cons: The flies .. i thunk this is because of rural area... has no effect on the property though.
Pros: Very close To Morales that is an amazingly charming authentic place with a stunning view from the castle.
Cons: Slight smell of humidity, no view.
Pros: The apartment was a nice size, clean and comfortable. This was particularly important as the weather was very poor during our stay with a lot of wind and heavy rain.
Cons: The exterior landscaping of the apartment was very unmaintained and unprofessional. Once inside the unkept entrance the apartment was fine. One hour’s effort would very quickly tidy the entrance up. It needs it!
Pros: Stone walls, view in rural setting, ambience
Located in Morella, Complejo Rural Font del Roser is within a 15-minute drive of Time of Dinosaurs Museum and Arciprestal Museum. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and an elevator.
Pros: Beautiful rural location to get away and relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they gave us wood for the fire and potatoes to bake in it. The house was cosy and clean with a lovely garden. Would definitely recommend it.
Pros: Clean and comfy. Lovely village with kind and friendly people.
Cons: Be ready that there is no restaraunts or supermarkets near the apartment. Anyway, you can get something in Morella in advance.
Pros: the room was ready for us with the heater on !!!
Cons: We were disappointed that the kitchen was not available as it had been when we rented the room before...the local bar was not open and most restaurants in Morella by the castle were not open...so no place to eat...so we left !!!
Pros: The hotel was perfectly located in the small gorgeous village. It was warm, comfortable and the room itself was beautiful. I would return again and recommend it to others. Thank you.
