8.2 Excellent
Pros: Cool rennovated warehouse with appropriate light industrial finishings. Nice blend of retro with very modern upgrades. Less than two miles to Anfield ( we walked back from match - all downhill).
Cons: Service (front desk, bar, and concierge) did not match otherwise outstanding facility. Distance from downtown perhaps made ready cab or Uber service a little longer than normal. Staff appeared newly hired and perhaps less experiences in how things were supposed to work. Tried hard but had to seek directions from others. Given time on the job, expect service will improve. Would give another try.

7.9 Good
Pros: Visited for the fantastic, relaxing spa, but our hotel room was also very nice, newly decorated and very comfortable. The spa and bistro staff were very friendly and welcoming. The outdoor jacuzzis are idyllic and it's lovely to be able to order drinks out to the jacuzzi. The spa has excellent changing facilities, including great showers, hair dryers, large lockers, and shower gel and shampoo, if needed. Breakfast is buffet style and you can help yourself. There's a selection of cooked and continental breakfast. The local sausages, fresh fruit and homemade granola were highlights.
Cons: Adding breakfast for two made a reasonable room rate quite expensive. The breakfast buffet was good, but I had expected more for the price, e.g. perhaps a wider selection of types of eggs, higher quality and better presented continental options like larger, freshly baked pastries and bread (for toast) or some more creative options like eggs benedict or pancakes. (I think there may have been some interesting a la carte options but this wasn't offered to us.) Service was slow for tea, coffee and toast. Bathrobes and slippers seemed to be available with some room rates but not others. These would have been welcome for the spa. It's a little walk along long corridors from the rooms to the spa, but not too far.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice and clean
Cons: Expensive to stay
7.1 Good
Pros: Excellent restaurant very convenient location
Cons: It was quite noisy on Saturday night Sunday morning also security was very poor people could access certain rooms without going through main reception & a number of the side doors were unlocked with card key required to enter
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Facilities. Staff are extremely professional and welcoming.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The spa was amazing, one of the best I've been to, the staff were so nice, polite and helpful. The outside jacuzzis were just an added touch. The thermal area was a fav, from the infra red chairs the the ice cave!! The rooms where lovely, clean, spacious and very comfy night sleep. Breakfast was delicious (not normally a fan of buffet) but everything was really fresh and could have food to order if wanted. Tapas in a hotel what a fantastic idea! We loved this, was really good food. The staff were fantastic and efficient. Loved that the main bar had raspberry vodka, made my night :) Every room was decorated excellent and very in keeping. The conseiquege showing us to our room was so nice, very polite.
Cons: Only criticism would be non usage of the spa from 11am the following day of check out. In all hotels I've ever stayed this has never been an issue before. I think £15 each after paying £210 is abit unfair. Especially as we had a later arrival due to work commitments, so didn't get full advantage of a fab spa.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Very disappointed with the hotel. We assumed we would be staying in Thornton Hall itself, not the cheap extension away from the Hall, staying in a little room on the ground floor walking out on to a car park, when we asked to be moved they said we can move but it’ll be an extra £50. It felt like the hotel were trying to get extra money at every given opportunity. From the £10 an hour late check out option to the charging of little items like ear buds/vanity kits which usually come as standard with other hotels. Even after we very first booked with booking.com I received an email immediately after from Thornton Hall asking me to cancel with booking.com and book directly with them instead (which would’ve been an extra £100!). Very off-putting to say the least, I’ve never stayed in a hotel where they have been penny pinching like this!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel in fantastic grounds with excellent staff.
Cons: Nothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: all Staff very good particularly the breakfast girls. Lovely pool. Very nice rooms, better than they looked in the pictures.
Cons: Toilet flush was too hard, would be difficult for elderly or people with arthritis. Car park is so busy and full, walking from rooms to health spa was tricky unless you walked around the inside of the hotel, which was a long way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The overall experience of Thornton Hall was fabulous. Couldn't fault it at all. Great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay. Room was clean and well presented. The spa was wonderful with a snow room and infra red wall. Staff were lovely, especially Julie on the spa reception who helped us out.
Cons: Nothing

2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Owner was rude, not hot water, shower was not safe, room was dirty, room door would not lock or unlock, front door lock to hotel was broken. When complaining to the owner was told to go back to my room .
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was clean and of a good standard.
Cons: The staff member was rather rude to me and we just didn't get on at all. Her conduct was very poor and she should probably consider a new field of work if she cannot speak to customers n a respectable fashion. She appeared to want to argue with me at any and all opportunities. The stay here was like walking on eggshells.
7.5 Good
Pros: our room was very very clean nice decor and very comfortable with a sea front location
Cons: for some reason the bar and restaurant were closed so there was no food or drink available on site for breakfast etc,a simple explanation would have been appreciated (was it long term or renovation or whatever?)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were comfy we stayed in the qaudruple family suite and the kids had bunk beds and they were comfy. The rooms were spacious and very homely. It was a nice hotel. Nice and quiet aswell on a night so had a good nights sleep. Doesn’t look great from outside but what you’d expect for seaside town Blackpool. Definitely recommend.
Cons: There was nothing we was unhappy with.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room great location.
Cons: Unfortunately the bar and dining areas weren't open to the public due to unforeseen out of control of the owner.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great Location. Clean room.
Cons: Not as advertised. Bar closed. No breakfast. No WiFi. The couple that own it as advertised clearly are no longer there. Restaurant adjoined closed. Bit of a strange set up. But the lady who dealt with us was lovely and felt a bit sorry for her as it seemed to just be her there. As said the room and en suite were spotless and bed very comfy which I guess is all that matters. Location fab too as tram stop across the road and very quiet at night so great sleep. Also parking available on the hotel forecourt. would have been good to have breakfast or at least been advertised on here that the bar is shut.
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean , nice rooms, great location. Nice sized family rooms , fit for purpose. Description states parking available, facilities states no parking. Reality: Parking is available.
Cons: Confusion on booking.com Lot of reviews are from the time of a previous proprietor. Description talks of well stocked bar. Reality is bar is not open. There is no WiFi or no breakfast option, (Photos are misleading) while the hotel doesn’t make these claims as a business it would be easy and smart to do so.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Taken cash payment and money out of my bank and they won’t pay me back - I booked for someone who works for me which I do quite often via booking.com and they said it was booked in 2 names, I have been to the property 3 times and they are refusing to give me my money back I’m disgusted
6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly Staff, good location
Cons: nothing bad to report
7.7 Good
Pros: breakfast
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Its very good prices and its perfect location to Pleasure Beach Resort
6.0 Good
Pros: Very friendly, good location and nice breakfast choice
Cons: Breakfast from 9.00 to 9.30 is a bit late for a family stay as up much earlier and had to hang around.
7.7 Good
Pros: The hotel was out the way of the hurley burley noise of shopping/nightlife so after our evening out we were guaranteed a good night sleep. The Bed was really comfy and I think l had the best night sleep in ages. Shower was hot and makes a change as in some hotels you only get luke warm. Breakfast was more than enough as I was full up until mid afternoon. Well worth the money in my eyes. It is a taxi ride from the train station though but thats not important as there is trams, taxis etc to take you back up towards centre and taxi we booked was here within 2 mins.
Cons: Everything was fine

Pros: What an absolute gem of guest house. Quiet back street location away from the seafront, but a very short walk to everything on offer at New Brighton. Railway station a stones throw from the guest house too so added bonus if not driving. The proprietor couldn’t have been more helpful and offered an option of cooked breakfast at a very reasonable additional price The guest house was immaculate and the bed was so very comfortable Highly recommend
Cons: Nothing to dislike !!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was cereal and poached eggs with toast, fruit toast was also available. Cooked breakfasts were extra but to be fair what we had was more than enough Location, well this was our first time in New Brighton but will not be our last, stunning area, with beach, places of interest and bars in easy walking distance. The guest house was in a quiet street, so no noise at all
Cons: Nothing, everything was top notch

Pros: David and Julie were so friendly and welcoming. The personal touches and effort that has gone in to make each stay special was just great. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Extremely clean, delicious breakfast, very comfy bed and an amazing bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Langtrys was very easy to find and was right next to a bus stop, so perfect start. The lady of the house ironed my shirt for the morning at no charge, the room was superb with a sparkling bathroom, power shower and comfy bed. Breakfast was served promptly and met all expectations. I couldn't find a fault with Langtrys and would definitely stay again.
Cons: It would be a nice touch (but by no means needed) to have a small fresh fruit bowl in the bedroom. I would happily pay for it as an optional extra, just something to consider.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of staff. Location of proerty
Cons: Breakfast service very slow
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a great location- close proximity to the town centre and the docks. The hotel design is modern and the staff were welcoming and friendly.
Cons: We paid for a Superior room and were allocated a room on the top floor in the far corner of the hotel. The room was spacious, however vent was very loud and woke us up at 6am. The toilet button was faulty and didn’t flush properly- the bathroom wasn’t completely cleaned after it’s previous guests. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall and I felt like the room had been neglected compared to the rest of the hotel. Considering I paid almost £200 for one nights stay I was disappointed with the room we were given and felt like it wasn’t a fair price to pay for a mediocre room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were lovely, beds very comfy, breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice . Location spot on.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.. room was lovley and very clean xx
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel was very nice however for the price I paid I felt the room was a little basic.
Cons: Staff were great, food was great, good location and very comfortable stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is great. Comfy bed. Huge TV and the shower was amazing.
Cons: Mould begins the bathroom door. Obviously missed. The room air con was so noisy overnight even when switched off. Breakfast is way too expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very accommodating staff and very comfortable rooms. Really enjoyed the ambiance and comfortable beds. Everything was clean and in it's proper place. Hardwood floors in our room was a nice plus. Quite close to attractions, but isolated enough for a restful night. Highly recommend.
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff were so friendly, the situation was good and the access to a car park close by was good.
Cons: The food at dinner wasn't the best, quite expensive for what it was. Room service menu - we had sandwiches which were £10 + each, they were OK but definitely not worth £10,(I wish we had bought in Tesco on the way home). There were no sauces with the sandwiches e.g. mayonnaise etc, the salt cellar (no pepper) was completely empty, why bother?!? one set of napkin and cutlery for two of us, the waiter forgot the beer, then when it came no glass was offered. Not what you would expect from a hotel that was over £100 per night?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Nothing was too much trouble for the Staff. I travelled with my Mum who walks with the aid of a Walker and they made her feel so welcome and looked after her. We had a problem with the kettle which was fixed in 10 Minutes. The room was so comfy and we loved the free mini bar and fridge in the room. Breakfast was exceptional, as was the room service. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic too, everything is right on your doorstep. We can not wait to come back!
Cons: The beds were a too soft for us - but that's our personal choice! A non-slip mat in the shower would be great as it did get a bit slippy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is nothing that disappoints at Indigo. The staff are on point. The restaurant has great food and a good wine list. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. This is a great little find in Liverpool. As it's my second time visiting since it opened, I will definitely be back!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast staff efficient and friendly
Cons: Hooks to hang coats in bedroom
