The entire staff was very friendly. We were new in the area, so we needed directions for shops, restaurants and church. The desk clerks helped us with maps and photocopies as well as suggestions. Everyone was very accommodating. Breakfast (grab and go) was adequate, except I would like to have had some juices; orange , cranberry and apple to go along with the coffee and tea as choices of beverages. We were always greeted with a smile. They really made us feel at home and very comfortable.
This was a secret value hotel that turned out to be an Extended Stay. It was previously rated as a Deluxe suites hotel and it lived up to it's previous rating. Very nice. We didn't make use of the full kitchen other than to make coffee, but this was definitely a suite that you could live in.
This was my first experience with the extended stay hotels and what an introduction to the franchise. The room was extremely spacious and the hotel staff was gracious and courteous. Everything was easy going and every morning the front counter attendant would say 'have a good day' as I walked out the door and 'welcome back' when I returned. The corporate office should be very proud of this location. My wife and I felt as if it were our home for the week and couldn't have been any more satisfied.
We stayed at this hotel on Thanksgiving night and checked out on Friday. (1 day later) The hotel was OK, but I would rate customer service very poor. When we checked in at 3:00 PM, the gentleman who worked at the front desk gave us a room on the 3rd floor. We rent to the room and it had an odor of strong burnt food. We went to the front desk and the same front desk rep said the following comment: 'Every hotel room has their unique smell from all of the previous guests and you just can't get it out.' In all of the years of staying in hotel rooms, I have never heard this comment. He did agree to give us another room. But, on the way out of the hotel for shopping on Thanksgiving night, he asked if the new room had a better odor in a smug way. We will never go back to that hotel if the customer service is that way.
Good place, clean , quiet. Hard to find but not difficult to navigate.
The hotel had everything we needed for an 8 night stay. We stayed in a studio room and had access to a full kitchen (oven, burners, microwave, full sized fridge, sink, dishes and cookware). We had a queen sized bed, couch, and a recliner, also a full bath, closet, and dresser. The pool outside was very small as was the workout room, but I didn't feel that I actually needed any of these things being so close to the beach. There was also a dvd player with the flat screen TV which both seemed very new. When the dvd player wouldn't work, someone from the staff came down and replaced it with a new one for us and so it worked. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed something. The only weird thing we had happen was that we found a sparkler (firework) under the mattress pad of our bed. Parking was free and convenient.
Mini kitchen very convenient. Can store food cook in the room like home
No breakfast on weekends, but very convenient location & nice amenities
Stayed overnight before boarding my cruise during spring break. The place was clean and quiet. The bathroom was super clean which was a huge plus since I have a thing for bathroom cleanliness. The housekeeper brought me my jacket I left in the room before I finished loading the car. It's not a hIgh end hotel but was worth the money. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but the linens were clean. I would definitely reccomend this spot for cruisers looking for an overnight stay.
The room met our needs and the staff was friendly.
Great, clean cozy place. Highly recommender. We will be back for any hockey travel game played an East Coast. Please keep this way. Father and 10 years Son
Hotel was clean and tidy, well-equipped with kitchen needs.
You get what you pay for.Good price, lousy experience. Upon entering the hotel there was someone being taken out by the police in handcuffs. I asked to be put on a different floor than what ever was going on with the police, and later saw the police going to a room on my floor. The bathroom was not clean. The carpet had a large red stain. I asked for a blanket three times and everytime I brought it up to my wife, they all had many hairs stuck on them. Quite embarrassing ,since this was supposed to be a quick getaway for us. One blanket even had a huge burn mark on it. Mood killers for sure. The front desk staff was nice and did the best they could with what they have to work with. I would rate this a two star hotel not a three.
Probably compare it to Section 8 housing. They probably live there as well. The room we got first was not made up and had a strange odor, as if it had been used for a one hour stay. They gave us another room, the fridge didn't work, the sheets were uncomfortable and the service was terrible. They said if you forget anything come down to the front office and they will supply you with it. Well, the airport security took our shampoo and shaving cream, so when we asked for both, they only had shaving cream. They don't supply rooms with shampoo. So when we asked them to give us sheets, they don't do maid service on the weekends, well since we were there for the weekend, not very pleased. Oh yeah, don't eat their breakfast, we had an apple and once bitten, it could have killed Snow White, the apple was black inside. The last night there was some red gue, could have been blood, couldn't tell that was lying on the elevator floor, and surprise surprise when we checked out on Monday, it was still there from the night before. Pay an extra $50 and go somewhere else, it will be worth it, I promise. Oh and don't go in the pool, you don't want to know what was floating in that.
We stood up front waiting for someone to check us in for almost 10 minutes. They gave us a handicap room where everything was too short for us. The room was dirty, old, and poorly taken care of. It was a non-smoking room, but people had clearly smoked in it; our clothes and luggage smelled of musty smoke from staying in the room for one night. There were stains on the couch, floor, and bed linens. The 'kitchen' only had one glass in it, and it was dirty. Thank god we only had to stay here for one night. I feel very sorry for a business traveler who has to stay at this establishment for multiple days. I would have rather slept at the airport than stayed at this hotel. There are many other options for accomodations close to the airport. Do yourself a favor and stay some place else.
