Not An Airport Hotel
Nice pool and court yard. Rooms were clean. Service was inconsistent. The free buffet breakfast was quite good.
It’s marketed as an airport hotel with shuttle service but it’s a long way from the airport and most of the time the shuttle is not running. The hotel will pay for taxi costs but the whole thing appears a little weird. It’s not a bad place but it’s obviously had better days. I would consider staying there again (short term), if the price was right.
Overall a value, but shuttle was poor.
Complimentary shuttle (both for airport and cruise port) and complimentary breakfast, and at a good price. Good restaurants not far away, as well as a Target and grocery store.
The shuttle service was terrible. When I called for pick up I was told 30 minutes; it took 45. A lady that I sat by while waiting had called 45 minutes before me, and she and I ended up in the same shuttle. For the cruise port, I couldn't get the shuttle time I wanted, but the next day another guest told me that in fact, there had been a slot open. On top of that, the cruise shuttles were running 30-45 minutes late.
There was a rate change (downward) so I could have paid less approx 45$ total - but i guess if the rate went up i would not have paid more. so you take your chances.
The property advertises a "free airport shuttle". On calling from the airport at noon they said it would be a 2-3 hour wait, stating that traffic was heavy due to a local boat show. In fact they were using the shuttle for both airport runs and to transport people to and from the boat show, likely charging a fee for the later. We chose to spend $35 on a cab. Also, they charged a $15 "resort fee" on arrival. This is a standard motel location in a busy urban area. There is no resort per se, unless having a pool turns it into a resort. The fee appears to be an additional revenue for the motel, similar to airlines adding fees for baggage, etc.
Pool area was nice. It is a place to sleep and staff is friendly.
would not stay longer than 3 or 4 days....
Front desk personnel were excellent
My flight was cancelled and I could not get to the
I did not like that I arranged my reservation online and I could not get a refund. I planned the Disney cruise for my kids and I 1/10/16. I booked this hotel in advance and paid for my flights in advance. I did not know my flight was cancelled I made it to the airport. I had to pay an extra $1,000 on way for my kids and I could fly to Miami. We arrived in Miami after midnight then immediately left for the cruise. I was calling to get a refund but I turned down. I would like a refund
It was okay
We stayed at the hotel during holidays season so the price was higher than during weekdays/low season. Our room was large, and has a fridge. Location was great. We went around with bus and shuttle service from-to the airport. But the hotel def needs a renovation.
Excellently maintained facility. Nice bar & pool area.
