Pros: Oh my bed was on point. Mirrors wow!! I couldn't wait to watch myself naked eish it was awesome view in that mirror. Exterior joweeeee My God. Your body lotion bit mine end up using yours it smells so good I so believe that I didn't steal it. Next time I am coming with other pastors this place is so holy something special about it but tht is my secret. I loved the place. Thank you very much hope you will increase the price cause I feel like you are cheating yourself.
Cons: Price is too low!!!
Cons: THERE WAS NO PRIVACY
Pros: Beautiful working farm with thoughtfully curated and pristine rooms. Phenomenal wedding venue for Joburgers drawn to the Clarens/Fouriesburg area.
Pros: Location and the comfort of the rooms (lots of space, own kitchen, big lounge, 2 showers)
Cons: We did not realise that you cannot order dinner if not by a specific time . When we arrived we obviously did not make dinner arrangements which left us a bit "hungry". Perhaps I missed the mentioning of that on the booking - if not it would be nice if it can be noted on the booking.
Pros: Beautiful. Well thought out, spacious
Pros: The location is stunning and the value for maoney is definitely interesting.
Cons: The personnel is ok, like the service. I would have expected more interaction with some advise on the activities in the region
Pros: Quietness and scenery
Pros: The rooms were beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, decorated, and equipped, and also spotlessly clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delivered to our rooms and very delicious. We stayed just one night but could imagine staying there several days exploring the surroundings. Highly recommended!
Cons: Unfortunately the address give on the website was the one to the POBox in Fouriesburg, but the farm is actually 15 km to the East of town. Since we arrived late from Golden Gate Highlands NP we missed the poorly lit sign in the dark and overshot. So if you travel late make sure to look well before Fouriesburg for the farm.
Pros: The lady arranged a key for another room under construction with a shower to use. So, she made a plan to accommodate us.
Cons: No shower in our room
Pros: Very good and spacious accommodation. Tranquil atmosphere.
Pros: The friendly host. The value for money. Very nice cottage we stated in.
Pros: Personal attention
Cons: The washbasin and parking space
Pros: Very clean and exceptionally beautiful surroundings. Philna went out of her way to make us feel welcome
Pros: Nice and friendly. Relax in the garden on authentic stools. Also eat breakfast there. The next day enjoy breakfast with my children in the bus. This was so so nice and cosy
Pros: Very nice place to stay. Great welcoming with a small treat. Place was clean and tidy. Had all the extras.
Pros: Location and the stay
Pros: The hostess, Philna, absolutely goes goes the extra mile to make her guests feel welcome. The delicious, home-made bread is an absolute winner!
Pros: Phil a the owners warm welcome and was surprised with a lovely homemad bread. It was wonderfull
Cons: There was nothing not to like. This is a dream place to stay at.
Pros: We booked here to stay over on a trip to Afriski. The service is excellent. Philna called me immediately once the booking was made to assist with travel plans and confirm dietary requirements and meal bookings. She also called while travelling there to see how our trip was going and also to provide directions should we need it and our cottage number. Upon arrival, the place was clean and neat, even the cutlery was sparkly. All panel heaters and the much welcomed heater blankets were already switched on for us which was very welcome in the -4 degree mornings. Nice private garden to park securely and braai as well. Philna also went out of her way to make us some hot fresh bread and delivered to our door at 6am as we weren't staying for breakfast on the day we left for Afriski. Breakfast on the bus the next day was divine. My 4 year old son especially enjoyed the bus and the kiddies channels after our travels.
Pros: We were really surprised at the roominess of the accommodation. Heaters in each room, everything you need in the kitchen and even a welcoming glass of sherry. Thank you Judy for making our stay very enjoyable.
Cons: The shower could use a soap and facecloth holder.
Pros: the breakfast was very poor, a box given to us the evening before and you could make some coffee in your room. It was surely bought in the cafe a couple of hundred meters away. The rooms were not bad but even the owner could not get the heater working and had to find something else and smaller
Cons: the bed was ok, and the shower we shared also but that was more or less all
Cons: The toilet seemed to be leaking. Some floor tiles broken.
Pros: The location is excellent. The owner greeted us at the gate and gave a very warm hearty welcome. The rooms where very comfortable and accommodating. We really felt right at home. Almost decided to move in permanently.
Cons: Nothing not to like
Pros: This was a quick booking for a night over. It was a great rate and the host Judy was very sweet and helpful. There were heaters for winter that was great. Good value for money in a rather ordinary town!
Pros: Affordable, clean and tidy
Cons: Feel unsecured where u can not lock the door
Pros: This is truly a gem. It is beautiful rooms with everything you need for a conference stay. It even had someone coming in and cleaning once a day. We really enjoy our stay.
Pros: One day when I grow up I hope to have a library as beautiful and well stocked as the one in this guesthouse

Pros: Friendly service. Very clean and neat. Great breakfast!
Pros: Breakfast was super - the best omelettes we ever had! Fresh fruit and real coffee were appreciated. Everything we needed we received. Neat and tidy with friendly professional Employees. Will be our place to stay when in the area again.
Cons: Cannot think of a single thing!
Pros: All good we loved our stop over, pity it was so short
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Friendly owner.
Cons: The pictures look better than what you get but I found it nice. Just a let down when you expect more.
Pros: Rooms are ok, receptive for early breakfast but again spoiled by braai - party in the patio
Cons: Absence of staff to manage noisy neighbours
Pros: The host and staff were extremely polite and let me feel at home. The room was 5 star; they thought about everything. Pure coffee, stocked bar fridge and beautiful linen. The bathroom is sparkling elegant!
Cons: There was nearly nothing to complain. The only suggestion I have, and this is a personal preference, at breakfast, I prefer plain yoghurt, and they didn't have to offer. There was a variety of other flavours of yoghurt.
Pros: The room was beautyfull furnished and with the underfloor heating it will be awesome during really cold times. The host made us omelettes which he didnt had in mind, but agreed and did it with a s mile. When we've checked out after breakfast he walked us out and waved like an old friend. Its a home away from home.
Cons: Nothing really, its almost on the outskirts of town but so quiet and peacefully even though its a gravel road from there to the main road.
Pros: Friendly Personal Service, David even helped me change my flat tyre!! Excellent Breakfast!!
The Fouriesburg Country Inn is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. A pickup service can be arranged for guests upon request.
Pros: It is my third time here and definitely not the last time Bedroom is beautifully decorated Linnen crisp and white and electric blankets on the beds Food.... to die for!!’
Cons: I had to leave!!!
Pros: Friendly good food
Cons: Liquor prices too high.
Pros: The hotel met our needs. The accommodation was comfortable and the meals were good value. The location served the purpose of our visit. Having the ladies bar and meals on site, saved us having to go out after a long day at the farm
Pros: Lovely location. Pretty building, very well maintained. Very good value for money. Restaurant food is excellent, and very reasonably priced.
Cons: Room could really have used a fan, or a protected window which could be opened. Restaurant service was not the best.
Pros: The room was neat and pretty with a TV (some DsTV channels include) and coffee station in the cupboard. We didn't have any meals at the hotel, but we did have drinks at the Ladies Bar, which is really lovely. The staff are great as well.
Cons: The walls are very thin, and late at night or in the early hours of the morning, it's possible to hear your neighbours talking or their TV.
Pros: Very pretty
Cons: I did not have breakfast as it was not included. this was a disappointment as the rates are quite high and the location although beautiful is very remote. I really expected breakfast to be included in this rate
Cons: In general the value for money was poor relative to what is available within a 40 km radius. Breakfast was overpriced and the room had mosquitos but no preventative measures to keep them out..eg. Citronella candles or plug in mosquito mats etc.

Cons: Sharing Fridge
Pros: Easy to find, secure parking inside the property, a warm welcome from Marius, and a very comfy, airy and bright room; what more could a traveler ask for? A full tea tray and kettle is available in each room, plus a heater, electric blanket and spare blankets in case it gets chilly. Dr's Place even has a wardrobe (plus coat hangers!) in the room for travelers wanting to unpack during their stay!
Pros: The place is in a quiet area, secured and owner is welcoming. I would definitely recommend the place
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Cons: Main lights didn't work in our room only the bedside lamp worked. Only one of 3 spotlights in bathroom worked. Showerhead is old and not working. Water was cold at 6:30 in the morning.
Pros: The staff was friendly and very welcoming. Even the cleaning lady was conversational. Good place to rest after a hard day
Cons: Unfortunately no meals served, it would be really great if they did it would complement the good work they are doing
Pros: Immediate feedback. It was just all-round what we needed for an overnight stay. Being cold, we found the electric blankets already on, friendly staff waiting for us and excellent facilities to make our stay comfortable.
Cons: There was nothing that we did not like about the facilities. Everything was neat and impressive. An added option to have breakfast would have made the stay even more pleasant, but then again, we had to check out rather early to continue our trip.
Pros: Amazing location close to Lesotho Good parking availability Very friendly and helpful hosts Perfect for groups or solo travelers

Pros: Peaceful location with beautiful views. Enjoyed the horse ride and trail. Mark and Anna-Marie are gracious hosts. The location proved to be ideal as first-day stop and then on to Ficksburg Cherry Festival for the whole of the next day. Would do the same again in time to come. Our return to Joburg via a Clarens stop-over really suited us logistically. (The butcher in Fouriesburg which is a short drive away sells wonderful lamb chops which made for an excellent braai on our first night.)
Pros: A lovely, peaceful setting. Very welcoming, helpful hosts
Cons: Wi-Fi signal connectivity is not consistent.
