10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice big rooms amazing view of the lake. Friendly owners and dogs. Loved the evening meals with the family and other residents. Mix of nationalities and languages, really quiet (except for the odd donkey bray!)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: Room was very nicely decorated but the bed was so hard we couldn't sleep. Had to stack up blankets and towels underneath us. Also only one plug by the bed and it was for lamp. The location was beautiful but a long drive from anywhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a fantastic place, such a beautiful area. Very calm and the hosts make you feel at home. We loved the dinner and breakfast too. Super kid friendly as well!
Cons: Everything was fantastic

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent!!! The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had to departure early & they woke up for this and prepared us breakfast for 7:15. The rooms are very authentic & nicely furnished. You feel yourself close to the nature in the rooms, too. Nice view to the lake. And the dinner was fantastic & unforgettable! Thank you! :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had one night at La Bâtisse chambres d'hôtes, welcomed on arrival by the owners and their dogs. The hotel and room were fantastic. The evening meal where we got to try local dishes was first class - I highly recommend taking the meal even where you can converse with the owners and guests even with limited French.
Cons: Absolutely nothing - everything was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted a an overnight stay close to the A75 autoroute to break our journey from Faversham, Kent to our house in Tamariu Spain. La Batisse was prefect - quiet, spotlessly clean, comfortable spacious tastefully furnished room with a king sized plus bed. Spectacular view from the room over the nearby lake. Excellent breakfast - fresh coffee, toast, bread, cake, fresh fruit and home made jams. We will be back.
Cons: We should have brought our own tea bags.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Karine and Philippe were the perfect hosts. Beautiful accommodation with incredible lake views, especially in the morning with the mist rising from the water. Delicious breakfast and very enjoyable evening meal with the other guests. We were apprehensive about the evening meal as our French is poor to non existent, but we were made to feel incredibly welcome and relaxed. Thankyou for a very memorable stay. Mellony and Martyn

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabienne met us at the hotel 10 minutes after we rang. We were able to park our car in the town square. It was a surprise to find that the hotel was in the old historic cite on top of the hill. We had time to walk around before we went to dinner. Fabienne suggested two restaurants a short walk away, which was helpful. The house is old but in a good way and was nicely kept and decorated. The bedroom was a good size and had a table and two dining chairs. WE could have used a lounge area one floor down. We had an excellent and delicious breakfast with organic produce from the local area and homemade jams. We could use the fridge just off the dining room to put food in. We were able to pay by credit card.
Cons: Our room was on the third floor and there is no lift, but we did know there was no lift when booking. We could have left a bag downstairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The attention to detail in all aspects of La Maison d'Adelaide was excellent especially the welcome and hospitality. The property is tastefully decorated and charming. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast showcased local produce and home-made jam which was all delicious. Fabienne was most helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this property.
Cons: It was all very good. There was nothing we didn't like.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice old building. Private atmosphere. Excellent location. Excellent breakfast.
Cons: Bed sheet were clean but the bed cover and the pillows had an unpleasant smell (probably not thoroughly washed). There was also a stale smell in the house.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a B&B of four rooms located on the 3rd and 4th floor of a mid-19th century building, with authentic fittings and furniture in the dining room and 3rd floor rooms, and modern 4th floor rooms. A word of caution: no elevator and steep stairs; not for persons with limited mobility. A nice place for an in-style stopover in a long travel, or as a base to explore the region. The host is nice and sincerely willing to do as much as possible to please guests. The breakfast consists of local organic cheese, yaghourt, bread, croissants, marmelade and orange juice, i.e. the choice is limited (ask in advance if you have special wishes). We adored our top floor room with a view of tile roofs and hills around, nice modern bathroom, very quiet at night.
Cons: No night tables in our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Old world medieval town. You must make your way into the old centre (Place D'Armes) and park there(free)because it is the nearest to this old 170 year property. But there are other options with a little bit more walking. The landlady is really helpful and will allow you to enter the property before the designated 6 PM if you contact her in advance..The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is delightful. You have many restaurants within 100 metres all capable of providing the most delicious food at very reasonable prices..Distinctively different from your run of the mill stopovers and you must visit the old museum (4 euro) to fully absorb the grand flavour of the place...
Cons: Perfect....it's what it says on the tin

Cons: There was nothing we disliked.

7.5 Good
Pros: The location is perfect for a quick stopover.
Cons: We never took the breakfast option as didn't appear to be great value for pre packed cakes. Had to buy a kettle for the return journey so we could have a cup of tea in the room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: First time we have stayed here. VERY easy to find, just a stones throw from the A75 motorway. Spacious, chalet style room with our own parking space in front of the room. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: They had a large garage and charged us 5 euros per night to put our bicycles in. We have been cycling in France for 25 years and have never, ever, ever been charged for keeping our bicycles secure.
Cons: Making a charge to keep bicycles secure. Breakfast not available until 10.30 a.m. - far too late. Noisy industrial kitchen fan spoiled a tranquil room at the back.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was clean, tidy and comfy. The bar downstairs had a good atmosphere and the food was delicious.
Cons: We were charged an extra 11 Euros above the price we had paid when we booked it. The reason behind this was that they had upgraded from a 2* to a 3* and we had to pay for the privilege, which I thought was a bit of a cheek.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, atmosphere, excellent staff and food
Cons: No air con could be an issue if hot
6.7 Good
Pros: Its a beautiful part of France.
Cons: We had booked to have breakfast but this was not provided. The cost of breakfast was taken off the bill though. After 16 hours travelling this was not good news! We would not have booked, knowing breakfast was not provided. The rooms are above a pub so was quiet noisy late at night. No A/C so had to have windows open which didn't help.
