Fantastic location, not too far from woodland walks or places to eat. The set out was nice. The breakfast was very good.
Lovely situation Helpful staff very clean Excellent breakfast Room quite small Fairly isolated...had towalk about half a mile to nearest pubs etc.
The owner was very hospitable, especially in finding us a place to eat upon our late arrival (which was excellent). The breakfast options were good. The b&b was perfectly situated. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and it was close to all of the main attractions in the area. The bed wasn't very good. It was too soft and we both were a bit sore the next day.
Everything was great, the location, the room, the breakfast and especially the hospitality of our host.
We stayed here for 3 nights whilst exploring Loch Ness and the surrounding area. The b&b is situated about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Drumnadrochit where you will find restaurants, shops, the tourist information and visitor centre. Loch Ness boat trips also start from here and Urquhart castle is a short drive away. The b&b is attached to the owner’s house, however it has a separate entrance and its own lounge/breakfast area. The breakfast was very tasty and the room spotless. The room was slightly on the small side, however this was not a problem for the amount of time we spent there.
The staff (Sarah) was extremely welcoming and warm.
A great experience, we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and Sarah the owner is friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. I would recommend it to anyone. The location is great too, slightly away from the village centre but still handy for meals and shops, and with access to some nice walks and facilities such as pony-trekking, horse-riding and bicycle hire.
Warm welcome, small but clean room, the best haggis in Scotland according to Sarah. The taste was good, but knowing what it is made of, this is a 'once in a lifetime experience' for me. The shower had a thermostat that didn't function very well. The watertemperature constantly changed from cold to dangerously hot. When I complained about it, Sarah told me that I should have read the manual in the room. Well, I was in the shower and not in the room, wasn't I? The fact that it is a bit odd in the first place to have to read a manual to take a shower didn't bother her at all. When I suggested that she'd hang up an instruction in the bathroom or at least warn the guests, she didn't agree. It was all my fault not reading the manual and of the changing waterpressure. The fact that bothered me the most is that she didn't even say sorry.
Clean sufficient . is very difficult to find it with the nav-sat . The room is so much little . In the night you will hear wen the guest of the next room go in the bathroom ...The only hotel in all GB that pretend the payment cash !!!
Location, the good packed lunches, nice people Not really a drying room
