The view of the water was fabulous. The accomodations were very good and the resort ammenities were good too. The distance to the nearest town was 20 min. by foot over a rough trail. The lack of public transportation (bus or train) made us rely upon taxis and La Francesca staff to get to/from town.
The view from the balcony is fantastic especially at sunset some of the should be available recreational facilities are either closed or not functioning properly during the period. rooms are too small. TV screen is a 14 inch and is very uncomfortable to watch. Towels are not approriately sized.no beach towels are available. room cleaning is not available. Access to the hotel is very difficult( narrow roads). It is too dangerous to walk to any of the nearby towns due to the lack of walking trails which compels you to use the car and face the associated severe parking shoratages in all those towns.
The view. The lack of promised internet access, heat only available during certain hours, no hand soap supplied, un comfortable sofa.
Stunning views and relaxed atmosphere within a short drive to the Levanto train station (Cinque Terre). Villas show their age but who cares in such a beautiful location. We (2 couples) booked for 2 nights but stayed for 3 and would have liked to stay longer.
The property is pretty and close to the sea. The price was ok compared to other hotels in the Cinque Terre. The staff at the office were not pleasant at all! (contrary to our other experiences in Italy). They did not have ANY information about the weather, or boat/ferry services in/around the Cinque Terre!
The village is situated on the coast, in a real pine forest. The sea view is breathtaking. Excellent food & wine at the restaurant. The village is 4 km far from Levanto on the up&down coast road-you can't walk on it. There's no bus, you have to take a taxi that costs 20 euro, to get to the train station. The sanitary's were from the '70, not suitable for a 4star residence.
calm, very good view and refreshing air insufficient equipment and old furniture.
Gorgeous view of the mediterrian. Staff was very responsive when we had a problem with the hot water and all was fixed.
The location and views are great. The property is old and in no way 4 star unless you are using a 10 star system!
perfect location, great nature
A beautiful old world hotel in the center of a perfect town. Bonassola was our favorite place on all of the Ligurian coast. Close to the train in the center of town; the train did not bother us at all as they do not run much at night. Beautiful antiques and a lovely setting with fresh breakfast in the garden and walking trails outside of the door. Kind English speaking staff who kept our bags while we spent the day exploring this magical place.
easy access from train and to beach. comfortable outdoor breakfast and dinners room was very small and sleeping uncomfortable
well marked and located near the station. clean rooms. friendly staff. close to beach (less than 5 min walk) and a great little wine bar. a bit noisy from the passing trains...surprisingly no building vibrations...they provide earplugs
loved the quaint hotel and room atmosphere, quiet village away from the tourists, ease of access to Cinque Terra, breakfast on the terrace loved it - we'd return.
close to the train 80 yr old up too many steps
Very close to railway station, Good garden breakfast in summer season Loud railway noise, small shower booth for adult
A warm welcome, very comfortable & clean room, with a beautiful breakfast room. The town was lovely with an excellent beach, a perfect base to explore the region, so close to the train.
friendly, convenient location, atmospheric, outdoor dining and very clean
Helpful, friendly staff; nice garden area for breakfast. Our 'family room' for 5, with a linked double and triple room and bathroom, was tiny - I'm glad we only had one of our 3 children with us. The hotel was not 'in a garden' as advertised (we looked on to an old ditch and buildings), although there was a nice shady garden area for breakfast in front of the hotel. We were 20 metres from the main rail line from Italy to the South of France - noisy trains, all night. Breakfast was poor (no fruit or even fruit juice). Contrary to the impression given on your website, there were no sports activities available at the hotel - rather, in the locality ie in the Cinque Terre generally. Overall, it was really poor value for money - more like a hostel than a 3* hotel.
friendly staff and nice town train station too close
