Pros: We wanted somewhere special for my 50th birthday and we made the right choice. The room for a family was very spacious, tastefully decorated, comfortable and peaceful. Our slightly excitable young dog was made welcome with plenty of space to walk. Lovely hosts. All in all perfect.

Pros: Beautiful house and gardens. Extremely warm welcome from the owners. Very comfy bed and great night's sleep on a brief stopover en-route to the channel tunnel. Continental breakfast (included) was superb and very well presented in the courtyard. Overall extremely happy with our stay.... Wished we could've stayed longer!

Pros: The property was lovely. Breakfast was so yummy and the hosts were so sweet!

Pros: The owner was tremendously nice and friendly when we checked in. She was extremely helpful when I had an emergency in the middle of the night requiring a visit from the doc and an ambulance ride to the local hospital. The service was above and beyond.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room and bathroom, beautiful environment, nice and helpful owners, quiet, close to Chateau Chenonceaux. Breakfast is very good for French people with 6-7 different and excellent home made jams, perfect bread, butter, youghurt, tea/coffee. As non-French, we got also three types of typical local cheese.
Cons: For a perfect breakfast for non-French guests: more butter, some ham and a croissant. In rest, everything was perfect

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were made to feel very welcome. There was plenty of good local produce at breakfast, more than enough to give you a good start to the day. The location was perfect for us with ample parking. The bedroom was large and the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was modern with a great shower. We had lovely views from the room. It was so nice to have tea/coffee making facilities which is sadly lacking in a lot of properties, there was also a fridge. There was plenty of tourist information to hand.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming host, nice room and excellent breakfasts
Cons: Distance from Bayeau
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly hostess and excellent rooms. Comfortable bed. Very Quiet. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep and narrow but once you are upstairs the rooms are spacious and well accommodated. Nice, clean, and well kept.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This bed and breakfast was only a few minutes from Chenonceau and in the heart of Loire Chateaux country in a quiet village with plenty of parking. Breakfast was delicious and it was fun to try the different cheese our host had available. Our hosts were kind and friendly and spoke good English and were gracious to let our children take a quick swim in the pool even though they were having a dinner with friends on the patio. The rooms had private bathrooms and there were small things provided (razors, cotton pads, etc.) that we didn't need but are exactly the sort of things that travelers sometimes do need - I thought they were thoughtfully and tastefully done. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Pros: Everything was exceptional! Warm welcome when we have just arrived, detailed explanations about sightseeings around and restaurants, perfect breakfast with cheese and home-made jam, well equipped room with everything needed! We felt like at parent's home: we had discussions, our kids played with the hosts, together with other guests we had a glass of wine on the terrasse with home-made snacks. Thanks you very much, Ginette!

Pros: Loved the views from the bedroom and dramatic bath. The owner was very welcoming despite clearly being in pain.
Cons: Sadly the owner had a medical condition so was unable to make us the dinner we had booked. However, he advised on local restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was beautiful and the grounds were lovely
6.8 Good
Pros: It was a beautiful chateau with a lovely swimming pool and extensive gardens. The interior lacked a feminine touch and thus seemed rather tired.
Cons: The bathroom facilities were poor and needed a make over. There were no toiletries and the towels were thin. The bed was comfortable but no extra pillows could be found. We had the evening meal which was not at all memorable, but welcome as there were no other facilities in the village. Breakfast was fair.
