Pros: Location is remote and very quiet. Room was clean & well maintained. Hostess was very hospitable and helpful. Breakfast was perfect and whole experience was very relaxing.

Pros: We loved our stay at the Forest View. Hostess was very sweet, was already waiting for us and gave us good information. The room which was incredibly large, which worked out well on our last day with the reorganization of the suitcases. The bathroom was also very large and had a very nice shower. We had a super tasty Scottish breakfast. And everything was well taken care of. View from the room on the forest and there were many birds. Restaurant in the village (hotel White Horse) was very quiet, and good quality food.

Pros: The B&B was lovely, clean and very well presented. The owner was polite and very accommodating. Bit 'out in the sticks', which is fine and on a sunny day, was lovely.

Pros: Breakfast was wonderful - full Scottish. The harbour is walking distance and the area picturesque. Parking right outside the hotel made it comfortable.

Pros: Breakfast was the best meal of the day. The staff were great (especially the Australian lady). The room was on the small side, but comfortable, with all the required facilities and a top shower.
Cons: The two dinners we had were average, with some some good items and some not so good. I had uncomfortable evenings after both meals. Perhaps we chose badly.

Cons: The tables in the restaurant need tablecloths on they are sticky not because they are dirty but the varnish they have used makes things stick

Pros: The hotel room was clean and comfy with everything you needed, including tea making facilities. I really enjoyed the Scottish cooked breakfast including the haggis. The staff were lovely and friendly, and accommodating regarding a breakfast choice I had which was not on the menu. I didn’t eat in the hotel in the evening as I was visiting friends who cooked for me. If I visit my friends again, I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Pros: The hotel had just been refurbished and was looking great. The decor throughout was fresh and modern.
Cons: Stayed two nights, the first night I couldn't fault the staff. However the second evening when checking in the staff seemed more interested in dinner guests. I was just given my key and was left to find my room by myself. Other than that I couldn't fault my stay.

Pros: A very warm welcome from the young lady front of house and even in the morning at Breakfast she was bright and breezy. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and our evening meal was great - the fish was huge!! There is a steep hill down to the bay where the hotel is, but well worth a visit - it was on my husband's bucket list to visit, and we loved it. Thank you.

Pros: Location is almost perfect: nice ocean view with quiet and serene atomosphere. Didn't expect this location was selected and filmed for the movie "Local Hero" in 1983 starring with Burt Lancaster and many guests visited here for this. It is also very nice experience for the authentic dinner is served by the owner shef: Peter at this small inn: we fully enjoyed twice out of three nights stay.
Cons: Almost No walking space is available when two large suitcases placed on the floor and it's pitty without an ocean view although this tiny hotel faced to the see. Should better ask any other room available if you have got the large suite case.

Pros: A beautiful clean and comfortable. We had a knock on our room door by a member of staff asking if we would like clean towels and are beds made again after our first night, I explained we was not ready to leave the room still sorting ourselves out for the day ahead, the lady was so polite and said she would come back and it was no problem. We came back early evening to beds made and clean towels. Bar and food was very clean and value for money and a friendly atmosphere. Thank you all for a very pleasant stay and we certainly couldn't fault it.
