Its peaceful location and good pool and breakfast choice The expensive and unchanging dinner menu
The location was beautiful and really peaceful. The staff was very friendly. It really felt like an escape to a different world. The double room where we stayed was not that comfortable although I saw a suite which was very nice. The dinner in the restaurant was not that impressive.
Nice location and nature around, but a car is needed, helpfull staff, ample bathroom lack of sound isolation between rooms, corridor and rooms,
Wonderful romantic atmosphere, far from hustle and bustle with all the conveniences and comfort one can ask for.
Good taste, late dining , very clean, friendly staff Quite difficult to find from the high way , no mirror in the room !
an absolutely lovely hotel, peaceful and relaxing, a home away from home. I caouldn't ask for any better. I'll always go there again .
The hotel was modern and clean with a pleasant design, the breakfast was nice We arrived at 10 in the evening and were informed that there is no dinner or even room service available. There was wi fi only in the reception area. The location of the hotel is a little bit far from the main road
Nice location in the middle of vineyards, quiet countryside. The staff gave us very warm welcome; they were really helpful and friendly all the time. The room was clean and big enough for two people. The outdoor swimming pool and the wine cellar are a big plus! Wine variety is really good. I would recommend this hotel for couples who want to spend relaxing holiday in the countryside. Breakfast could contain a bit more options.
the hospitality of the stuff
This was a positive surprise. Very pleasant place with friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Lot of local flavor in house design and furniture. Located in the middle of Moncalvo vineyards with nice views to the village and surrounding hills. Superb pool and excellent local food and wine. Children (9 & 10 yrs) enjoyed the stay as well.
Hotel facilities and staff were excellent. The restaurant offers high quality food at reasonable prices and made dinners extremely convenient especially for people with very young children.
Wonderful hotel staff and facilities at there. i wish to again come back...
It is the perfect place for a weekend break - we went for Easter and it was lovely - stunning country side with the Alps in the far distance and rolling hills covered in grape vines all around. Cascina Spinerola is a friendly, family run hotel, and feels like staying with family. We were made to feel very welcome - the family made every effort to please us and make sure we had everything we needed. Most of the food and the wine is made on site and is exceptionally good - especially the wine!
Beautiful setting, wonderful staff (could not have been more helpful and hospitable), incredible views, wonderful food, great wine. The local village is a bit quiet with a limited choice of restaurants but Cascina Spinerola itself is a haven - so I'd suggest stay in the hotel!
The welcome from this most attentive family was so warm. The hotel room was spotlessly clean and the pride they showed in their service is a rareity. For us it was fabulous as we had a car but this hotel could be considered a little of the beaten track without your own transport....
THis was a stunningly beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The hotel is still being developed but this did not affect out experience. The restaraunt was fine dining but very friendly, they even arranged a birthday cake for my 13 year old. Almost no english is spoken except by the manager of the restaurant but if you are willing, communication is possible. We loved this hotel.
There is nothing we liked about our stay. This hotel was barely functioning. It has no resources and the food was very disappointing.
Ottimo! Perfecto! We arrived exhausted from an unpleasant stay at a hotel in Torino and this place was perfect. It's been converted from a monastery and no expense has been spared to give an amazing holiday, it was almost like a retreat, and the views of Siestere and the surrounding valleys are spectacular. The heating is very good, everything you could want is provided and the owners are very helpful but not intrusive. The Restaurant Antico Monasterio is done beautifully. The whole thing was an experience we won't forget. we wanted to extend our stay and were reluctant to leave.
location and views and peace & quiet directions to get there, very complicated and not obvious where the hotel is and very narrow streets for large cars.
There was an element of surprise as the gates to the hotel courtyard were opened. We were immediately met with smiles by the friendly family staff who were excited to give us a tour of the complex...and then showed us to our apartment which was palacial in size but warm and inviting. It had been delightfully restored to honor the ancient structure... a wonderful mix of antique and modern furnishings and conveniences...nice little kitchen, great heating system even in October!)free wifi. Wonderful restaurant! We booked for 3 days, A totally unique experience and a great place to base ourselves to explore all the little hill towns nearby!
The staff was incredibly friendly, the room huge and welcoming and clean. Our little dog was welcome - and it was all extremely pleasant. Great atmosphere. Lovely little town and gorgeous views. Nothing.
Excellent restaurant with a complete menu. Beautiful mountain view from the restaurant terrace. Very friendly owner family. Room not cleaned during our 3 night stay. Isolated location in a small village.
Why this place is called a ressort, is a mistery: No sauna, bar, pool, massages or other forms of wellness. Heating and wlan did not work. one roll, sliced into 6 pieces for the 2 of us for breakfast, along with one tiny pack of butter. Part of the premises still in ruin. Adjacent restaurant only in operation during weekends. This establishment is sailing under the wrong flag! Our idea of a palazzo is different. It is a simple country lodging, nothing else.
We had a "junior suite" with a balcony and an amazing view. The room was very large and was well equipped. Service with a smile and tips about the region. It was truffle season!
We enjoyed to stay at the Locanda Del Melograno. Thanks to the owners who provided us with all the information we needed for a beautiful walk and places for wine tasting.
Friendly staff, excellent location, great room None
The owners were very nice and friendly and the rooms were nice, big and quiet. Everything was great.
Absolutele a delicious place to wind down, you can do nothing,or very little. The Patrons, scenery are gorgeous& there is noboby on the roads.
A lovely hotel with very kind (English) speaking owners. Hotel used to be an old farm and is completely reshaped to a very luxery hotel with marvelous rooms. View from the hotel to the valley is great! Hotel lies in the middle of an excellent wine area (Piemonte). Absolutely no complaints
Very nice and familiar hotel in a modern but also traditional style with kind hotel keepers. The rooms and the whole hotel were very clean and inviting. Our room was more a suite than a room with a huge and fully equipped bathroom and had a nice view over the surrounding hills. The breakfast was not very rich but freshly prepared with real espresso/cappuccino. The only constraint was some noise from the nearby country road at night - but that was not a big problem.
