Pros: Very nice central hotel. Clean. Very friendly manager. Clean, spacious bathroom with fabulous shower. Parking on site and across the street.
Pros: Delightful young woman ran the hotel in a valley system that is simply stunning. The hotel is rustic but that is what you expect in these more remote areas. The breakfasts are marvelous with a whole pot of coffee and homemade pastries. Had a great time in Vallouise, take your hiking boots.
Pros: It was great to sit by a fire and relax in the evening. Very clean, warm, comfortable room with excellent shower etc lovely breakfast. Pleasant hostess. Convenient position in village.
Pros: Thank you Elisa! We've had a wonderfull holiday in this gorgeous place! We'll return with great pleasure!
Cons: All was wonderful!
Pros: Host was very helpful. Ample parking space at 50m. There's a very good restaurant with local dishes right next door, and a lot of other well-rated eateries within walking distance. Ask the host, she knows !
Cons: A little hard to locate, as there's another chalet right in front. And the path up to the building is a bit steep : with fresh snow or ice it can be hard to get your luggage up...The bathroom only has a curtain, no door. I suppose this can be embarrasing at times.

Cons: no soap in bathroom. Room at a street some circulation in the morning
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly & helpful
Cons: The WiFi was not available in the room we stayed in and I couldn't get a connection on the landing on the floor below as directed. Would have preferred a personal WC. The portable TV came from the Ark!
Cons: the worst wi fi I ve met
Pros: All effortless, late arrival no problem, great communication, service owner and staff brilliant, great coffee cleanliness and perfect for climbing. Would recommend this to anyone and I intend too.
Cons: For me and my partner it would be hard to improve all as described with no rip offs hidden charges etc. Brilliant.
Pros: Very pleasant welcome. Very clean. Bar on the ground floor, supermarket over the road and bank and other shops nearby. Easy free parking. Pleasant village not far from Briançon.
Pros: Simple but very nice hotel and clean rooms, just what we needed after an active day. Good location, owner was also very kind.
Cons: Some light traffic and noise on the street quite early.
Pros: Quiet. Friendly English speaking owner (who can give advice about mountain conditions) good coffee.

Pros: Almost everything : staff, view from the hotel, swimming pool, cosy bar including a nice terrace,... and ask for the list of beers, amazing ! You can just relax here.
Cons: The restaurant has an amazing view on the surrounding mountains but somehow limited food choices (menu of the day or rather expensive and short food menu).
Pros: We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms on the ground floor which was lovely - very clean and modern and well designed with an inbuilt funky bunkbed arrangement for small children. The staff were able to cook me vegan food and my kids vegetarian which we greatly appreciated. Rashid, was particularly friendly and attentive. We had some fantastic mountain walks from the hotel, one we started by jumping on the chairlift right nextdoor. Great place to spend a couple of days in the mountains, but it was quite quiet, so don't go here if you are looking for the nightlife.
Cons: Our two girls stayed on the first floor and their room looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1980s - very outmoded and in desperate need of an upgrade.
Pros: The view from our room were amazing. The environment around the bar and restaurant area is very cosy, and the staff is fantastic. Very friendly people. Nice free parking right next to the hotel. No clue of the breakfast as we dident eat there. Nice area for hiking and mountainbike cycling.
Cons: Its an old Hotel and so were our room. But still nice for a 3 day sleepover. Prices are pretty high as they usualy are in the satelites villages in the mountains.
With a stay at Hôtel Les Vallois in Vallouise, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Ecrins National Park and Mont Pelvoux. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: great location in the centre of a pretty alpine village with the soothing sound of running water. Good sized comfortable modern room. Good food
Cons: wifi signal absolute rubbish. Flies were a nuisance in the restaurant particularly in the outside area. The swimming pool still had its winter covers on at the end of June - and no sign that it was about to be prepared for use despite the warm weather - guess we could have asked but would have probably found the water cold.!
Pros: The room had a beautiful view towards the mountains and was in the heart of the small, quaint village. The staff were very friendly and helpful which made the stay even more pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and clean with a balcony where you could sit and enjoy the sunshine and mountain view.
Cons: The rooms are slightly small but this is no bother.
Pros: We booked the hotel at very short notice and arrived late evening after a stressful experience in Briancon. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. They looked after us extremely well arranging a meal for us. We enjoyed the stay so much that we stayed a further two nights.
Cons: Nothing not to dislike.
Pros: Location is great
Cons: a lot of flies everywhere and very dirty
Pros: Lovely rooms very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was a good spread of things.
Pros: The location and casual atmosphere . The village is clean with a small grocery store. The balcony with a view of the mountains. The restaurant was reasonably priced. The walk in shower was easy to access.
Cons: A disused swimming pool that spoilt the setting. No lift and stairs little difficult to negotiate with hand luggage.
Pros: Spacious room, nice balcony with a view, very friendly staff. Cosy and "at home" feeling.
Cons: Nothing, really...

Pros: . Not much the staff member was friendly enough on our arrival but he did not hang around too long. to deal with any complaints or queries. The town is very pleasant and the hotel in a good neighbourhood with soundproof windows the breakfast good but describing it as anything more than that would be too generous.
Cons: THE DECOR WAS RIDICULOUSLY OUTDATED AND TIRED THE BATHROOM HAD PIPES EXPOSED NOT YET BOXED IN THAT SIGNIFIED WORK IN PROGRESS. WE ASKED FOR SINGLE BEDS WE GOT A VERY SMALL DOUBLE member of staff on site to deal with any changes problems that were apparent as we checked in our request for single beds was not met but the concierge had left the building within a few minutes of our arrival.Annoyingly the local tax was added on to our final bill when booking we were informed the price would be the final price with everything included . i was in a hurry to rejoin my journey so did not seek the to dig out my lap top to check on the local tax situation but I have subsequently done so and confirmed that local tax was paid in the advertised price. Yet another reason to be annoyed
Pros: Excellent and very helpful staff!! Safe bike park available, beautiful location.
Pros: Good location, nice staff, great breakfast.
Cons: I had no problems, it was good value for money.
Pros: Older style hotel room, has been refurbished, comfortable for a night or two.
Cons: Arrived on Sunday, nothing open in Town, so had to drive to Briancon for supplies (food etc)
Pros: Our stay was only a one night stopover on a long haul trip back from Corsica to the UK on motorbikes. we were offered secure parking, the room was comfortable with shower. There was a very good pizzeria across the road. Overall it was great value for money and I would stay there again.
Cons: I have nothing to dislike about the hotel it is not a 4 star hotel. It was better than I expected for the price.
Pros: Breakfast, location
Pros: tv, wifi, spacios room, toilet, and bath
Cons: Old school hotel, with inconvinient smell. Thin walls so it was a bit noisy. Little bit cold in the winter
Pros: Sehr freundliches Personal
Cons: WLAN didn’t work in the room. Very old interior

Cons: Nothing that really stands out.
Pros: Public parking outside, very quiet location in the middle of a very small village, 2000 inhabitants and very picturesque setting. Just off the main N9 to Briancon...
Cons: Place refurbed 2 years ago. Rooms and situation were extremely quiet when we were there. Food in the restaurant good and not too pricey. Breakfast was served on an individual basis. (Needed a healthy appetite to eat it all). Overall very good value for money. Note reception not open till 17:30.. locked, so no chance of an early check in. The owner lady, speaks very good English and is very helpful and good fun.
Pros: Value for money is high. Cleanliness is good. The temperature of bath water is good.
Cons: Room is not big. Facilities is sample.

Pros: The hotel is in the center of the city. There are parking lots near the hotel. The rooms and all the facilities are very clean. The owners are very kind and polite and they know very well the surroundings. They offered us a lot of valuable information regarding the possible routes, the sites to visit, the difficulty of the roads. Due to them we made an excellent trip back to Italy and we saw breathtaking landscapes in Hautes Alpes and in Savoie (Col du Granon, Col du Galibier, Col du Lautaret, Mont Cenis etc.).
Pros: Comfortable bed, good breakfast, lovely host.
Cons: Hotel is a bit dated, could do with a uplift.

Pros: The location.
Cons: We asked for twins room and we got a double bed room, the bath in the bathroom was under the roof so my brother couldn't stand in the bath. Plus the pressure of the shower was very low..
Pros: Staff were lovely. Restraunt had a good selection but rather expensive. Room was small, bed a little uncomfortable but did the job.
Cons: Price of food. Bed very small.

Pros: we had huge apart with 2 proper bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - much bigger and nicer than expected. the pool great after skiing all day. fairly easy to walk into town for restaurants and shops. (though shuttle ends quite early). great skiing for beginners/intermediate, no lift queues, beautiful runs through the woods. you can choose whether to clean at end of stay or pay for cleaning - which seems v fair.
Cons: apart from half hour at beginning and end of the week (and possibly the odd hour in the morning we missed) the reception desk was closed It was Easter bh weekend but still felt too little. No wifi but we could buy quite easily while there. standard of apartments can vary quite a bit.
Pros: Next to slopes
With a stay at this apartment in Puy-Saint-Vincent, you'll be in the mountains, just steps from Ecrins National Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location excellent. Ski lockers below. Laundry room on same floor. Small shop/cafe/pizzas outside.
Cons: The apartment needed a thorough deep clean. The floor was filthy and when my son walked round in his socks they were black underneath after half an hour. The tiles in the bathroom were also grubby and although the bath looked clean on closer inspection I had to do it agiain before I would sit in it. Pillows also very tired and need replacing. The matress cover on the duble bed had a stain on it. Lucky I took my own.
With a stay at Résidence Odalys Chalets Puy St Vincent in Puy-Saint-Vincent, you'll be next to a golf course, just steps from Ecrins National Park. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and laundry facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Not too much to like about this place. The resort is lovely. The place itself does not represent value for money and is poorly equipped for a self-contained stay.
Cons: This is a bare bones property managed by someone who is just trying to make some money. The place is poorly equipped - e.g. we only had one coffee mug (They had run out of stock and couldn't give us another), the sofa bed is very cheap, the beds were not made up when we arrived and I had to ask for linen and towels, and no cleaning materials (e.g. multipurpose cleaner) is provided for you to help you comply with the cleaning rules. I wouldn't stay here again in such a place where the owners clearly don't care about your experience. EVERYTHING extra you have to pay for - the wifi, the TV etc etc. For dog owners, be aware that even though the place is dog friendly they charge 10 euro per dog per night.
Pros: We were upgraded to a bigger apartment upon arrival.
Cons: That studio was not fit for the 3 of us despite the recommendation on booking.com.
Pros: View from balcony was great, staff were very responsive and consciencious.
Cons: Unfortunately hot water system broke 1 day, then leaked 1 day - staff did their best to fix quickly, but anyway it happened. As previous commenters, icy walk up to slopes, or icy walk down to slopes in ski boots...hard start and finish to day.
