Pros: Virginie is so welcoming, her breakfasts are typically French locally sourced and delicious. Accommodation clean , parking secure, we used a taxi recommended by Virginie to go to Arras. The history in this area is vast . Thank you for a great place to stay .
Pros: We liked everything, from start to finish everything was first class. Virginie (who speaks great English) couldn't have been a better host. Virginie leant us some excellent books so that we could read more about the area and it's history and told us the best places to eat in Arras which was just 5 minutes away. We had a wonderful breakfast which included a selection of local cheeses, fresh bread, croissants, home made jam and cake. We were given plenty of extra servings of coffee and everthing was perfectly presented and served in the dining room of Virginie's beautifully decorated art nouveau house. Thank you for a fanastic time, we would love to return.
Pros: A very beautiful house and setting. Accommodation was in a converted barn but was roomy and very comfortable. . Very good bathroom and walk in shower. Fluffy towels. Breakfast is served I. The main house and my host was very nice and thoughtful. Breakfast was lovely, all fresh . Home made jams.
Cons: Need your own transport to get to Arras. I walked there and whilst it was an interesting walk it took an hour. It was worth it tho, bars, restaurants were good and Arras is an interesting town.
Pros: Friendly, well-informed owner. Delicious breakfast. Lovely, comfortable room and fabulous shower
Pros: Everything was just fantastic, the location was so easy to find, easy on site parking, the room was stunning, the owner was so lovely and breakfast was excellent. We will definitely come again. Thank you Virginie!
Cons: Nothing at all.
With a stay at CHAMBRES ET TABLE D'HÔTES LA BELLE LENSOISE, you'll be centrally located in Lens, within a 5-minute drive of Louvre-Lens and Bollaert-Delelis Stadium. Featured amenities include express check-in and a 24-hour front desk.
Pros: Excellent breakfast, friendly host, clean and comfortable.
Pros: Room size were excellent, great clean property. Staff were very friendly, excellent breakfast, excellent location
Pros: I am from Seattle in USA. Very personable owner is very welcoming. Quaint but very nice bed & breakfast. Room/suite was great with two twin beds upstairs and king bed on main level of suite. Suite was located on 3rd & 4th floor as numbered in USA. Very quiet neighborhood compared to our noisy hotels in Paris. Excellent breakfast the next morning. Owner even gave us a free ride to our business meeting next morning. Owner directed us to excellent restaurant near the train station called Pain De La Bouche. My son ordered a pizza with bleu cheese that was amazing. Fish & chips was also very good. We left the windows open all night on both levels of the suite. Safe and very refreshing.
Cons: Stairs are steep but not a problem unless you are handicapped.
Pros: Chantal Marie was most accommodating.....we only booked first night and she had no problem with us stayi extra night. Apartment was very quaint and had full kitchen if you were to stay longer. Location was perfect close to everything Chantal prepared wonderful french breakfasts .....we also had 2 nights dinner which we both enjoyed (paid extra...but worth every euro) ....conversation with her and her son David were thought provoking and went well with the red wine :) Lens has a marvellous new museum called the louvre-lens ....we walked to it from our apt. Good place to get shuttle to Vimy!
Cons: The stairs are a challenge narrow and steep for taking suitcases up and down I forgot that the 2nd floor is really the third floor
Pros: Excellent host Chantelle and all her family. Lovely rooms, breakfast and decor
Pros: Chantel was a delightful host. The room was fine but the bath/shower arrangement was very strange.
Cons: The odd bath/shower arrangement. Some road noise but quietened down at night.
Pros: This was a great, real French experience in a real french home. The house is quirky and full of character, a refreshing change from corporate chain hotels and pretentious B&Bs. The breakfast was fantastic, the room spacious and fresh and the bed very comfortable. Host's English is very limited but actually this all added to the experience, made communication fun and encouraged me to blow cobwebs off the the little schoolboy french I knew.
Cons: Not too clear on the front door which buzzer to press to call attention and a displayed phone number that went to a voicemail I couldn't understand (not speaking French), so I was stood outside for a few minutes not really knowing how to get in, until the door was opened and I was welcomed warmly. Not a problem but just be aware that parking is pay and display on the street, which is fine but I was lucky to get a space.
Located in Fresnoy-en-Gohelle, Le Château - Fresnoy en Gohelle is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of Grand Place and Bollaert-Delelis Stadium. Featured amenities include a library and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The best sleep we have had for a long time, in very comfortable surroundings. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely make a return visit.
Pros: Delightful combination of original charm with every modern touch and a charming hostess
Pros: A beautiful setting and wonderful grounds. The breakfast was perfect, fresh and well presented. Would thoroughly recommend.
Cons: An earlier check in time availability would have been ideal.
Pros: Lovely rooms, great breakfast and supper
Pros: Great breakfast, local produce including homemade jams and yoghurt. Our dinner on the terrace was also wonderful. Host most accommodating in arranging dinner at short notice.
Pros: A wonderfully restored Chateau in the heart of the French countryside. It is the perfect place to relax after a long drive or a day touring the local WW1 battle sites. It is also close enough to Arras which is worth visiting. There are many restaurants in Arras notably Mezzaluna for vegetarians which was a very good. Jannick is the perfect and most welcoming host at Le Chateau .
Cons: Just take into account that checkin is only as of 5 PM
Pros: Immaculate property close to Arras and Lens. Helpful friendly host. Lovely bedroom and good bed Good WiFi Perfect breakfast with lovely bread and croissants, home made preserves and yogurt. Charcuterie and cheeses offered.
Cons: I would like a soft pillow. We were cool enough with open windows at night but no A/C in the heat of summer would be a problem.
With a stay at Le 33 Chambres d'Hôtes, you'll be centrally located in Lens, within a 5-minute drive of Louvre-Lens and Bollaert-Delelis Stadium.
Pros: Hosts very welcoming and helpfull
Cons: Street was a bit noisy in the early hours but it was Saturday night/ early morning
Pros: We had a pleasant room with a garden view. The buiding which was quite old had been sympathetically renovated. The breakfast was OK with the usual croissants etc. Coffeee and homemade jam was delicious. The owner recommended a local restaurant for dinner which very good
Cons: The only downside was parking which was onstreet and difficult near to the B&B. We parked overnight for free on a nearby car park which was 4 minutes walk away
Pros: The room was spotless, comfortable and everything needed was there. Staff was very friendly and polite. 10 times better than a normal hotel.
Pros: This B & B is at the beautiful home of Gilles and Benoite. The rooms are upstairs and we were assisted with our luggage. A lovely breakast was served downstairs in a large room off the entrance way. We would definitely stay there again if traveling in this area. Gilles and Benoite made our stay great!
Pros: Very clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and caring. If I ever come back to Lens I will definitely book my stay at Le 33.
Pros: Central location in Lens close to the station. Clean, comfortable and a fantastic host.
Cons: A little basic but everything you need.
Pros: Everything, a top rate stay, with all the little touches you get in the best hotels.
Located in Vimy, Belvédère is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Canadian National Vimy Memorial and Musee Militaire de la Targette. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and coffee/tea in a common area. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Hot day, above ground pool! Wonderful hosts. Interesting and multilingual.
Cons: Nothing to not like!
Pros: Very nice location to stay if you intend to visit the nearby WW-1 memorials (or other sites of interest). The hosts are very helpful and cook a great breakfast. Photos are from 'Notre Dame de Lorette', the Canadian National Vimy Memorial' and the German memorial at Neuville-Saint-Vaas.
Pros: The hosts Elisabeth and Irek were superb they were very welcoming and friendly couple. They were always attentive and wanted to do as much as they could to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible . The room was superb and is self contained with a hall leading to our own bathroom and then to the bedroom. Making a very private area for guests. The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice of food and everything fresh!Again Elisabeth and Irek were very attentive . Got to say our overnight stay was great and set us up for the next days long drive. Thank you to Elisabeth and Irek we will see you again . Lou and Marie
Cons: All great
Pros: Delicious breakfast (with fresh strawberries from a nearby farm!) and very welcoming hosts. They went out of their way to help me with an issue with my rental car. Thank you!
Pros: Breakfast was great and the hosts were delightful!
Pros: The room is large and impeccably clean as is the bathroom which is the size of a small Paris apartment. There is no tub, but it has a great shower with plenty of hot water. The listing says that the bath is "separate", but is just outside the bedroom door in a little private hallway that has a sliding door separating it from the rest of the house. The other door leads out to the veranda and can be closed and shuttered for complete privacy. There are more extras than I can list here. The room comes with a Bosch coffee maker and a dizzying variety of coffee capsules to choose from. There is also an electric kettle and several different teas. There is a small fridge that serves as a mini bar. The prices for the mini bar offerings are barely more than you would pay at the supermarket. The hosts are obsessive about providing for your every whim. We brought home some pizzas one night, and the hosts immediately set the dining table on the sun porch with plates, silverware, napkins and wine glasses. The breakfast is copious. There are lots of breads, cheeses and preserves as well as various yogurts and sliced ham. The hosts offered eggs and bacon if we wanted it. We usually choose to stay in an historic home, but this one is a typical suburban house de Provence in a subdivision not far from Arras. While it may lack the ambience of an 18th chateau, the accommodations are better than you would find in all but the most expensive hotels.
Cons: While the hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly, their cat Tchi-tcha clearly voted "no" at the family meeting where they decided to offer a room for rent. Not only did she disdain any attempt we made to entice her to come over and get scratched behind the ear, she literally refused to even look at us during our entire stay. It was really quite comical.
Pros: Friendly family and amazingly helpful given we arrived close to 12.
With a stay at Villa Louvre Lens in Lens, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Louvre-Lens and Bollaert-Delelis Stadium. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful, and the host was very accommodating for the baby.
Cons: Location was not nice. Area where property is located is also not nice
Pros: A lovely quiet place to stay. Rooms spacious and facilitating with a mini bar and tea and coffee. Complimentary toiletries were availabld. Breakfast was lovely with a typical continental selection. A small family run guest house
Pros: Really liked this boutique hotel. Just a few rooms but personal attention from owners
Cons: Parking is an issue. It’s either on street parking or an extra charge for a garage
Pros: Easy to find. Lovely staff. Quiet hotel. Spacious room. Nice restaurants nearby. We had room for 2 adults and 2 children. Lots of space. Adjoining room for kids was perfect.
Pros: What a great place, and what a host. Okay the b&b is in the city centre, so central location. A little bit of noise when the bars closed but nothing too obtrusive. The room is lovely, a good size with a brilliant shower. Spotlessly clean. Two lovely new fluffy white towels (why don’t all B & B’s and hotels provide lovely towels??) The host moved his car from the garage so I could park my motorbike in it (10€ for two days), great for peace of mind!! AND he gave me the remote so I could come and go. He speaks very little English and I speak even less French!!, But with google translate on his phone, it was all great. He recommended a lovely little bistro that was so good, I booked it again for my 2nd night. And it was only a 2 minute walk away. Free, water, tea and coffee in the room, and a mini bar with reasonable prices. And Netflix on the v large TV :-) I will definitely return, in fact my friends would love it here - I will suggest it as a ‘stop-over’ on my next motorbike tour to Europe.
Cons: I guess without the garage parking I 'might' have struggled with a motorbike. But really, that is only being 'picky', the B&B is excellent.
Pros: Location for town centre and secure parking
Cons: Nothing not to like
Pros: Very clean, exceptionally friendly, great for restaurants and shopping.

Pros: What a find! We wanted just an overnight stay on our way back home from the South of France. This was great, easy to find from the A26, and then just an hour and a half away from Calais the next day. Mélanie, the hostess, could not have been more welcoming, and the dinner she prepared for us (we’d pre-ordered a meal) was superb; homemade, fresh ingredients, all local, some from her own garden. It was restaurant standard and delicious. The best meal we’d had all holiday, to be honest! Our room was clean, beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was just as good as dinner had been - far too much food for us, but excellent quality and all in all, wonderful value for money. We intend to go back next time we visit France.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like!
Pros: We stayed for one night at L'Heure Bleue. It was a perfect location for an overnight stop on our journey and to visit the Vimy Canadian Memorial. We were received with a warm welcome and shown to our room, we found everything very comfortable and spotless. The bed and bed linen was extremely comfortable and cosy, the bathroom roomy with a good powerful shower. The room was a very good size with plenty of space and storage. The breakfast was fresh, copious and very nicely laid out. L'Heure Bleue is an ancienne ferme à cour and the renovations are exceptional with a beautiful garden. We had dinner a short distance away at the Pizzeria Zodiaco, which we also recommend. We would defiantly visit again, recommended.
Pros: Generally nice accommodation, fairly large room with use of kitchen/dining room.
Cons: Parking on public road which had to be crossed to reach accommodation.
Pros: Good size bedroom and bathroom comfy bed Kitchen and dining overlooking the lovely garden. Good selection for breakfast more than you could eat.
Pros: Very nice, comfortable and clean country lodging near some important World War One sites. Gracious, kind and welcoming hosts, lovely room and for our purposes, a good location for touring, and close enough to Arras, Lille and even southern Belgium for a half-day or day trip with a car. Breakfast was fine and typical for the bed and breakfasts in the region. Host was kind enough to meet a special dietary need, which was much appreciated. Highly recommended!
Cons: We liked everything!
Pros: Everything was lovely. The accommodations perfect and the beds were comfy. My only ask or recommendation would be to provide a fan for the upstairs bedrooms as the airflow was minimal. That aside, I would completely recommend this quaint little gem of a gite.
Pros: It was very clean, comfortable and close to Canadian Vimy Memorial. Host was very friendly.
Cons: No where close to eat for supper. Host does speak some English we wish she spoke more as we don’t speak any other languages.
Cons: Nothing to not like
With a stay at Les Gîtes de l'Ecole Buissonnière in Lens, you'll be a 4-minute drive from Louvre-Lens and 6 minutes from Bollaert-Delelis Stadium. Featured amenities include a business center, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hosts were kind and helpful. The room was spacious and clean.
Pros: Quiet place in nice location. We had the smallest room with a loft bed which was very comfortable.
Cons: Needed better tv options like DVD player or Netflix. Wifi didn’t show up on available networks but not the end of the world
Pros: Awesome stay. Very pleasant owners who have set up a small oasis for the senses. His Nordic hot tub is a work of art. The beds are very comfortable and the individual cabins are very well appointed.
Cons: The requirement to bring your own bedding needs to be very clearly stipulated on the front page.
Pros: Amazing host. Helped us with where to eat and assisted when we had car issues.
Pros: Lovely and super helpful hosts. Really quaint cabins which are different and a lovely experience. Would thoroughly recommend We chose to have the breakfast which was really nice
Cons: There was nothing bad
Pros: Historical location in the coal mine area ofLens
Cons: Bathroom too small
Pros: So much nicer that the local hotels. I was there for work and found it comfortable and convenient. Would return with the family as the kids would live it too.
With a stay at Les V Elements in Dourges, you'll be near the airport, within a 15-minute drive of Louvre-Lens and Ancienne Chartreuse. Featured amenities include a computer station, luggage storage, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very nice and clean place. Warm welcome from the host. Spacious room upstairs and downstairs kitchen facility. Highly recommended.
Pros: After a long journey from Paris we were greeted by the hosts as friends and not just customers. Their kindness and hospitality exceeded all expectations. They shared a bottle of wine with us and a light snack and despite our atrocious French we had great conversations. The accommodation is superb with individually themed rooms. There is a large communal lounge and kitchen area where you can prepare your own meals should you wish
Cons: Just a tiny issue, the bed pillows were rather thin, lumpy and not very comfortable. I feel bad commenting on it as they are such lovely people. Once they are replaced it will be 100% perfect.
Pros: Well appointed stopover just off the main road. Very quiet. We had dedicated use of apartment including the ground floor comprising a good dining area and pleasant sitting area and one of the two upstairs bedrooms. A good apartment for two or four people. Nice rural view over the fields in front and gardens at the back. Good shower. Breakfast waiving when we went downstairs. Excellent coffee arrangements. The owner advised us to go to the Tomate Cerise restaurant in the next village which was very enjoyable. You need a car to go to go out for diner.
Cons: Nice self contained apartment but a long way from the centre of the village.

Pros: Comfy beds
Cons: Scrambled eggs at Novotel are terrible. They look like artificial with no taste of real eggs.
Pros: Lovely staff. Very helpful and fun. Margot on reception very helpful when we rang from England for information to help finding hotel. Restaurant and bar staff very good. Good parking.
Cons: Reading light by bed didn’t work.
Pros: Really helpful staff, who even printed directions to the Louvre Lens. Brilliant shower! Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Handy for the channel crossings( about 1 hour drive).
Cons: Mattress topper on the bed.
Pros: Staff beds breakfast.
Cons: Still a bit pricey
Pros: Breakfast is ok. Beds are comfortable although some of them are equipped with some kind of plastic liner between mattress and duvet cover.
Cons: Toilets are really dirty. Terrible smell coming from the sink. For a room rate of 140-155 EUR per night absolutely not acceptable. Fridge in the room has not been cleaned.
Pros: Comfortable room
Cons: Cockroach in the dining room. Poor food
Pros: The staff were great, friendly and helpful.
Cons: All okay
Pros: Awesome breakfast!
Pros: Our stay at the Novotel was very good. Our room was basic but clean & the staff were very friendly & helpful. We dined in the restaurant in the evening & the food was very good, as was the beer. Breakfast was like a feast, all of which as really good. We would definitely stay here again.
When you stay at Hôtel Le Manoir de Gavrelle in Gavrelle, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Nautical Base of Saint-Laurent-Blangy and Grand Place. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location & cleanliness
Cons: Broken light fittings, broken flush in toilet
Pros: Perfect for over night stay to or from Calais. Warm welcome good comfortable accommodation very good service & breakfast & excellent dinner
Cons: The twin bedded room offered narrower beds than expected.
Pros: All the above
Cons: I've already filled the hotel's own questionnaire. The evening dinner is usually very creative. This time it was less so... may have just been an off day but I mentioned it just in case. It was absolutely good enough, just not as good as usual...Waiter was fantastic
Pros: Convenient to autoroute, had a good garden to exercise dogs.
Cons: Evening meal was expensive and very poor value. The wine list included Bio wines and having been assured by waiter that they did not contain sulphate certainly did and made my wife who has an intolerance to these feeling quite poorly. Will certainly not visit again.
Pros: The restaurant is very good; extensive grounds for walking a pet.
Cons: One doesn’t actually stay in “Le Manoir”! That building is reserved for functions. Accommodation is motel-style in converted stables and very functional - that said, it’s only 3-star so one cannot complain too much... Noise from the nearby TGV could be disturbing when relaxing outside.
Pros: Perfect for our needs - good meal in the eveing
Pros: The location was nice.
Cons: Very expensive for a small cramped room and the food in the restaurant was poor quality, dry and very chewy cheap cuts of meat
Pros: Perfect place to stop for the night have dinner their restaurant and have a good breakfast before you move on to the next stop in your vacation.
Cons: The lights in the room were a bit under par, some didn't work at all.

Pros: Great stay
Cons: Bathroom a little run down
Pros: The desk workers were very knowledgeable and perfect in answering all our questions.
Cons: The bed was too close to the TV due to space restrictions, hard to walk around the bed.
Pros: The shower cubicle was a good size as was the bedroom
Cons: Bed was really hard. Pillow was really soft and too small. Boiled egg timings on blackboard way out.
Pros: Cleanliness and quietness.
Cons: Wash basin drain was not working properly. The drain lever had to be kept pressed to drain the water.
Cons: Feeling relax and room was amazing
Pros: Great breakfast, good size rooms,TV,WIFI, excellent stop over Hotel.
Cons: Could do with Coffee,Tea facility in the room
Pros: This hotel has all the essentials for travelling on a budget and in need of a simple place to stay for an evening or couple of nights. There is a grocery store within a 2 minute walk and also restaurants within a 5 minute drive.
Pros: Good location, large room, looks like freshly built.
Pros: really impressed by size of room ,really comfortable
Pros: Ease of use and price
Cons: No hot food at breakfast available exept for one spoonful of scrambled egg. At a cost of 6 euros I think this is not acceptable. Have stayed here on previous occasions and have been satisfied with the breakfast. The person in charge had a take it or leave it attitude. If I use this hotel again I will certainly leave it.
Pros: The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location is great if you have a car.
Pros: Good room size and furniture/fixings. Circulation areas good/good early breakfast times & good breakfast especially egg/bacon.Good car parking. All staff met ( reception & cleaners courteous and efficient.
Cons: Signage on roads and booking advice for locating could be improved.
Pros: We thought the hotel was impressive and in an ideal situation for the businessman and leisure person alike
Cons: We arrived at 1730 hrs on Sunday to find the reception desk unmanned and a notice telling us to press a button on the base of the phone which we did but no-one appeared. When we phoned the hotel number all we got was a recorded message telling us that the hotel desk was manned 24/7! We waited over an hour until a cleaner turned-up who went and found the receptionist who arrived without a word of apology, had difficulty in finding our reservation on the computer and as we discovered subsequently booked us into a single room and our friends into doubles. Everyone else treated us well thereafter but by then the damage had been done and we would recommend that the hotel look at its process for covering rest periods and ensure fully experienced receptionists are employed on Sunday afternoons
Pros: Quality, soundproofing, and cleanliness
Cons: Sign posting/directions.
Pros: Excellent soundproofing, bearing in mind it is next to the motorway and a very busy rail line, we were not distubed.
Pros: Close to the highway, made for a good overnight stop. Good value for money. Clean, good sized rooms.
Cons: Breakfast could have been better.

Pros: Friendly welcome, nice breakfast
Pros: The location to where I needed to get to.
Cons: The fact that there wasn't a tea or coffee making facility in the room.
Pros: Of their type, we find the B&B chain consistently good. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. Good bathroom with large walk-in shower. Very efficient and pleasant check-in. Breakfast - good value and quality for the price.
Cons: Only one pillow each
Cons: rooms were not clean, beds not comfortable, weird smell in the room
Pros: No soap in bathroom sink. You must reach into shower for soap dispenser!!!!! Breakfast adequate. Coffee not warm at 9.00.
Cons: Our Sat Nav would not direct us to the address of hotel??? We had difficulty in finding it.
Pros: Breakfast was good
Pros: Had it’s own car park .
Cons: First not the same name that it was when booked so difficult to find. Staff not very helpful and often not able to find anyone. when I asked for towels and soap got towels it no soap !! Bed was just plywood with mattress on top . Toilet disgraceful not dirty just very badly stained . Booked double got two singles and a very tiny room !! Breakfast was very poor burnt bacon congealed eggs and no variety of cereals . Had to use own tea bags as none available. The internet was off for one of our two night stays and cable tv went off as well !!

Pros: Friendly service and parking
Cons: Probably a bit further from the town centre than imagined
Pros: Friendly and very helpful staff, good food
Cons: An expensive hotel room and the food was also dear. It was not a proper shower, as the shower had no wall mount fixing so had to be held all the time .
Pros: Bed was comfy. Very near the football stadium. Secure parking.
Cons: Rooms really are rather basic. Not even a waste paper bin in mine. Youll need to specify room with shower or you may end up in one with a small bath and a hand-held shower attachment. As few frills as a typical room in a budget hotel, but nearly 100 euro for the night, excluding breakfast.
Pros: Good, clean hotel with good decor.
Cons: Breakfast was perfectly okay but expensive @ €11.90. No air conditioning in the room s.

Cons: Our shower flooded the bedroom. We asked to move rooms, staff not interested and couldn’t care less. Breakfast very poor. Sockets hanging of wall, dangerous when your floor is flooded!!
Pros: Free parking, and price of rooms
Cons: The double bed in our room was extremely uncomfortable, as a result we kept waking up during the night with back pains as the mattress sunk in the middle. In the other room the lights didn't work properly, internal door didn't shut properly and not enough towels supplied
Pros: Food - a pleasant surprise at how good it was.
Pros: Everything was ok.

Cons: No ventilation and very shady neighborhood
Pros: Clean and functional
Cons: Quite near a motorway and a railway so quite noisy until the early hours. Lots of noise from slamming doors etc.
Pros: Clean comfortable bed.
Cons: No aircon, dark rooms, very dated decor, bit prison room like in design, no shampoo left in bathroom, shower head was broken, still to expensive for whats on offer.
Pros: To be honest there was nothing to like here. We stayed here for a night with kids.
Pros: We were supposed to have a double bed and a third bed but we had 3 single beds.
Cons: Everything except the breakfast
Pros: Very good
Pros: Reasonable accommodation. Evening meal in restaurant was very good value for money.
Pros: It was relatively easy to find.
Cons: The member of staff on duty in the morning did not seem interested when we reported that the guttering immediately outside one of the 2 rooms that we were in leaked very noisily through the night, causing us to have a very poor nights sleep and flooding the area outside the room.
Pros: Pleasant chalet style rooms with tea/coffee facilities, good shower, nice balcony, trees around and a sense of privacy
Cons: When we booked, we were told that the room would sleep 4, it did not. Fortunately we had a camp bed with us. Breakfast was expensive and we did not take it. Right by the main railway line to Paris (but trains did not keep us awake). Directions to teh hotel were plain wrong. Found teh hotel by chance and good signpost reading bu passengers in teh car.
Pros: The room was clean With space to move around in.
Cons: The breakfast could have been more choice for the money.
Pros: all was OK, at the beginning was there cold.

Pros: If you just want a no frills bed for the night, with or without breakfast, this is the place. A basic motel style, located conveniently off the motorway. If late and reception is closed you can self check in via machine at door. Very clean room, and a comfy bed. (No hair dryer) Vending machine for hot drinks and snacks. Continental breakfast, all you can eat. Free parking Staff were pleasant.
Pros: Good layout for family room, comfy beds. Close to autoroute. Gated car park with cameras (no height restriction).
Cons: Room rate was quite high for such a basic hotel.
Pros: Plenty of space for families
Pros: I like the price of the room, it was ideal for the ferry terminal
Cons: Room was extremely small and stairs were a little dangerous in the room. Towels were tiny
Pros: Secure car park and excellent security guard who was 100% on the ball. Very happy as I had bikes on top of the car.
Pros: Really clean & comfortable!
Pros: Convenient location near shops and restaurants and only just over an hour from Calais. Good price. This place is fine if it’s just a bed for the night you want but you wouldn’t want to spend too much time in the room!
Cons: The room smelt of smoke. The stairs up to the mezzanine level were very steep. The room was very small. The shower was difficult for tall people!

Pros: Staff were very helpful and attentive. Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Rooms were peaceful.
Cons: The bed was really uncomfortable with springs in the mattress popping through.
Pros: Friendly welcome.
Cons: Bad smell of drains.
Pros: We were well rec'd and since there was no elevator the concierge carried our bags up a marble staircase to our room. It was close and easy to find. The decor was pleasantly surprising.
Cons: Knowing that we booked for 2 they should have had 2 sets of everything. Also the coffee machine didn't work. This was all made better when we met the senior staff who was more than apolitical to remedy everything. Made up for the little things.
Pros: Location, cleanliness and comfortable.
Pros: We liked everything else. Nice newly decorated interior with eye for the details. Good clean bathroom. Linen very clean. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast with lots of choice. No noise from the road or station oposite. Heating was adjustable.
Cons: The matras was realy very thin and the bed itself was sunk in the middle ànd the feet end higher up than the head end.
Cons: In the same week, maids forgot to leave towels 3 times make it impossible to take a shower or even dry your hands. 2 of those times, there was no one on the reception desk so that I could complain. Last few nights a nice gentleman was at the reception, but it was the only good thing about my stay. 95% of time the hotel is abandoned to the guests. An overall a terrible experience.
Pros: Location, sunny breakfast room, nice staff.

Cons: Would only recommend 1-2 nights stay
Pros: Room,Location, staff & breakfast all first class, would definitely use again if we are in the area
Cons: Secure parking i.e. electric gate across car park at night time
Pros: The gentleman on reception was very helpful and friendly
Pros: Beds were comfortable
Cons: First room smelt of smoke, manager was kind and swapped rooms. Rooms were basic.
Pros: Friendly staff and great location
Cons: The bathroom was not clean and was awkward to enter.
Pros: Staff are helpfull
Cons: Reception is closing at 9pm. Rooms are not large. And also bathroom is very small.
Pros: All I can say is it’s cheap, and you can’t wxtext too much, however it was ok, breakfast was a little overpriced but wasn’t too bad to be fair.
Cons: Window didn’t open fully. Don’t expect too much.

Pros: This is an old style hotel and is very basic. On the value for money side though, it has good food and is located by the rail station.
Pros: The food. The Cous cous with chicken was great and authentic. The bed was great.
Cons: The room Did have a musty smell but this went quite quickly
Pros: Staff. Price. Clean. We are cycling across France and it was perfect. They kept our bikes safe in storage for us. We are evening meal in the restaurant which was really nice. Room was small but all we needed. Nice people and clean facilities.
Pros: Handy for overnight stop
Cons: Only street parking with Payant places very hard to find one near hotel and advert said free on-site. We were given a room in a hotel next door but one and room was very tiny. Also no hot water only luke warm.
Pros: breakfast typical continental breakfast
Cons: At 70euro it was expensive for holes in the bed cover, no extra blankets so I had to wear clothing to bed to stay warm, worn out bathroom mat and when the owner agreed for a second night and I came back at 7.00pm he told me there was no room. He did however walk me next door which so far is cheaper, not worn out
Pros: Location, and the owner is very friendly and smiling and He accepted our little dog with no extra charge
Cons: The room could be more clean
Pros: Very little
Cons: Broken shower, worn out bed, smelly room, cracked basin, not very clean.
Cons: Firstly the page on booking.com stated 24hr front desk but confirmation email stated check in prior to 2200hrs. When we arrived, we were charged as per the booking €80 for two double rooms with four guests. However, only given one key to one room. When questioned with the hotelier we got another key to what he described as a smaller room as he was fully booked. What he meant was a room containing a single bed not double. The rooms were very basic in deed, not even having a bathroom door. They were dirty, dead flies on the windowsill and staining on the walls. Overall very poor even for a ⭐ hotel.
Pros: Location is good, one minute walk from the main train station.
Cons: The reception could not speak a single word of English (I made the booking on an English website, if property cannot communicate in English it should be stated). He had to get a local customer at the bar to help, who was quite aggressive and made it look like it's all my problem. In the end it was the waiter / kitchen staff who could actually help with communicating. It was an unpleasant check-in process. After this chapter, though, everything was alright.
Pros: Easy to find
Cons: Lots of stairs
