10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a great hotel. Not many rooms but lots of character. It's located just outside the old city so we could walk easily and didn't have to drive up the steep hills crowded with tourists. The staff was good and when i got sick with a high fever (not from the hotel) they were very helpful. We found out there was also a 24 hour doctor next door, though fortunately i didn't need it.
Cons: You really should be able to speak Spanish when you go to a country hotel. I speak some but my wife doesn't so it would have been difficult for her by herself.

I thought that breakfast is included in the booking reservation but when we paid at the end of our stay, we were charged extra for breakfast. (Pensaba que el desayuno estaba incluida en la reserva pero cuando hemos pagado en el dia de checkout, estabamos cobrado por el desayuno.) 4. There is no wifi. (No hay wifi.) 5. There is no view. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Host was a nice lady who drove me up to the hotel from the bus stop and is helpful for answering questions.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is our second review as the hotel is owned by the same people as the Rodena, which my partner and I stayed at. We came as a 4 and our guests only had good things to say about this hotel. I really wanted to say thank you to the owners for being such great hosts, they gave our guests lifts with their luggage up the steep hill, understood and helped us with our terrible Spanish and on New Years Eve we were left a generous gift of cured meats and cheeses to enjoy. Finally, on a very early departure, we managed to leave our 2nd set of house keys in the room. The hosts very generously posted them back to us, which we were extremely grateful for. These guys are very genuine and friendly people, I would highly recommend staying at either hotel, the rooms are fantastic for the price and having such great hosts added to that a lot. Thanks again.

6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was basic+////excellent coffee...fresh fruits and orange juice and cold cuts and cheese......the croissants were rather soggy and stone hard toasted bread plus 2 cookies...not good. No eggs offered or some more coffee...… LOCATION IS LOVELY - RURAL WITH GREAT VIEW....
Cons: we booked a suite-the double bed is rather small and for tall people over 1.80 will be too short...Faucets are old french with separate hot and cold and a mediocre water pressure from a small shower head. small soap and small bottles of unknown shampoo and shower gel - no possibility to read.....towels -paper thin.... / .no restaurant at the location-we tried once the fixed menu brought from a local restaurant at 20 euro pp...incl. wine......nothing to write home about-served nearly cold in cold plates and 2 euro wine bottle.... They charge 5 euro for a basket of wood logs for the fire place in a location that is full of wood free of charge-I honestly think they could absorb the cost for a suite....
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Bed is too hard, huge amount of flies, room needs to be painted, bathroom needs renovation

Pros: Great little hotel. Clean, comfortable and I enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. Staff ( lady of the house) did her best to help a non Spanish speaking visitor. Even let me park my motorcycle on the pavement in front of the hotel!
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find with free parking nearby; good and simple breakfast; friendly staff.
Cons: The hotel room walls are too thin, can hear people talking; walking around and opening or closing the door. Too close to main road, if open the balcony door, can hear all the vehicles passing by.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are stunning, perfect,
Cons: Need more clear info in reception on opening times on restaurant, breakfast could be better
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of everyone in the hotel; the breakfast was very good; our room although slightly small was cosy and comfortable.
Cons: Finding no one in the hotel and the outside door locked when we arrived at 6.00pm. The contact number provided by Booking.com was incorrect. We eventually found a different number on the hotel's website which worked.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff and fabulous position.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of staff. Cleanliness. Location. Food. Village. Surrounding area. Parking. Everything.
Cons: Nothing. Any language barriers we're ower fault
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very quiet room with a patio and it was extremely clean. Plenty of hot water. Very helpful staff and the restaurant was excellent value and the food, the best we had in Albarracin. Although the hotel did not have a car park, this was not necessary as there was a free public car park within a two minute walk that was well lit.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very welcoming and helpful, giving lots of information, plus discounts, on what to go and see. Hotel easy walking distance to the amazing village, but also easy to park close by without getting into tricky narrow streets!!

Pros: The staff were brilliant and the location is outstanding- we enjoyed our breakfast on our room veranda
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: I think the location is very good, the room was well presented and spotlessly clean. The parking is reassuringly secure.
Cons: The towels, although very clean, could have been made of cardboard, so thick and hard were they. The requirement that we had to chose between breakfast for 2 or none at all, is ridiculous. My wife never eats breakfast, but for me to have one, we were obliged to order 2. A waste of food and money. The pot of coffee for 2 gave us 1 cup each and then less than half a cup between us. On our return journey we did without the breakfast and had some at another local bar/cafe. The hotel recommends a local restaurant, which on previous visits has been excellent and busy. This has been upgraded (?) to a more prestigious type of eatery and its success can be judged by the lack of customers. Thanks to the prices on the menu, we ate elsewhere.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The host Jośe Luis couldn’t do enough for us he was friendly professional and very helpful. The hotel rooms are rustic in keeping with the town but with modern facilities. The location was perfect and secure parking a bonus. The view from the terrace of the room was fabulous.
Cons: Everything was perfect.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting, very clean and comfortable room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: View is amazing. Staff friendly. Room spotless. Shower fabulous.
Cons: Outdoor furniture rather scrappy. Sound proofing not brilliant but acceptable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, in the old town. It was to a walking distance from basically everything, really quite place, with no fan or ac... but you don't need it you never felt hot. Very clean nice bathrooms.
Cons: It was a little small.
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent general terrace with wonderful views of old town and surrounding mountains. Hotel well located for old town. Comfortable bed and excellent shower.
Cons: Room small but adequate. Public car park nearby was very small and full...consequently we had to park at the base of the old town and climb the 100 plus steps to the town above. Good exercise since it was 35 degrees centigrade.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, and hotel staff was helpful. Fantastic view from the room.
Cons: No lift, but understandable knowing where the hotel is situated.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This place is ideally situated for anyone wanting to visit Albarracin, the place is stunning.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Was very clean and comfortable plus had a fridge and there was free parking around.
Cons: I did not like glass door in the bathroom.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, incredible view from our balcony! Easy parking a couple of minutes away. The owners are lovely and helpful. Very clean rooms.
Cons: Breakfast is very basic. It's a shame because adding just a couple of items could make it much more inviting.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The position of this hotel is delightful. Not everyone can have moonshine juxtaposed with the mountain scenery and charming architecture, but we did on our visit.
Cons: The topography doesn’t permit, but it would have been nice to have the car nearer to the hotel
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location very good, near the parking area so not too far to take cases and up the top in the old town so no hill to climb to get to the main square. We had a person with a recently broken leg with us and still not able to walk too far. Great rooms with balconies overlooking the side of the hill and down to the river, The usual swifts winging their way along the valley.
Cons: No restaurant, though it did say there was one on of the sites. It was closed and there was not a lot open in the town. Staff recommended a local one which was always open - which was good value, if a little far for our injured party member.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good clean budget accommodation with bar/restaurant.
7.9 Good
Pros: We stayed there last year which is a recommendation in itself and we returned again as it is part of natural Spain. It wouldn’t be to eveyone’s taste as it is the focal point of the village and some knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! Good breakfast, clean rooms, easy to get to
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious. Room was small, but the bed was comfortable. Very clean.
Cons: We missed the menu del dia and had to make do with tapas.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Bedroom was large enough, bathroom is nicely done. Friendly staff.
Cons: Lumpy bed, didn't sleep well. No lift, room in 3rd floor, left my suitcase in the car and only brought the essentials for one night. Restaurant is in a separate room with a closed door, that only opens for dinner time. The rest of the time the clientel hangs out in a scruffy bar which also serves as the reception. Limited parking area in front of the hotel. Albarracin is a 15 minute drive away, there is absolutely nothing worth seeing in Torres de Albarracin. Nearest shop for drinks, snacks etc was said to be in Bronchales, a good 20 minute drive away. Having said that, it's worth a drive through the beautiful mountains to get there.

Pros: Clean spacious bedroom with comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for looking after us.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel Valdevecar is a small hotel in Spain mountains ca 1 km far from the center of Albarracin. Hotel was clean and the staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. Later check-in and check-out was no problem. Breakfast wasn´t included but the price for the accommodation was very friendly. We want to come back next year again!
Cons: The double bed in the comfort room was very, very soft. We had a feeling that we slept on the trampoline. But I understand that for someone it could be comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was spotless.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice comfy hotel with very friendly reception. Beautiful, quiet location within walking distance of historic town with amazing moorish castle dominating the hill. Lovely staff who were really helpful - recommended.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is on the outskirts of Albarracín but within walking distance of the town (I would recommend walking if there are a lot of tourists because the carparks get full). The hotel is clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable and there is also wi fi (which works well!) and free parking. The owner is very friendly and there's a breakfast option for only 5€.
Cons: The only downside was that if you pay for breakfast you can only drink one cup of coffee, unless you want to pay for another one! I thought this a little mean.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff, the room was nice and clean.
Cons: Would be nice if it had aircon.
