Very nice village with many interesting buildings and related historical information. Hotel very warm and welcoming with lovely log fire.
Restaurant evening meal was OK but nothing special. Service was also rather rushed.
The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Very convenient for Liverpool and Chester with the comfort of a small, friendly hotel.
The hotel is located in Frodsham town centre. It is within easy walking distance to shops, pubs and Frodsham railway station and has a guest car park. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated and staff members are friendly and helpful. The restaurant may look expensive at first glance but the food is excellent and good value. The hotel has cots and highchairs for families travelling with babies.
For a longer stay, I would have liked an iron and ironing board in my room.
Friendliness and efficiency of all staff at all times.
The upstairs rooms a little too warm but guests able to open windows. One bathroom mirror light not working but not a problem.
First room offered was still being decorated. Was then offered an excellent room to a very high standard with no quibble.
Lovely building bath available
No tea coffee facilities in room
Friendly staff, walking distance to the town, lovely old part to the building, great fire at entrance and a great breakfast.
Bathrooms needed updating.
Staff very good
Overpriced food & accomodation, Shaver socket in bathroom not working, 2 lights in room not working, little sleep due to a motor running all night outside, place needs a freshening up
