Wi-Fi was not in the room
It was a nice hotel in a very good setting adjacent to a large lake. My room had a great view of the lake and distant mountains, especially as the sun set in the evening. It had spa and swimming facilities although I did not use them. There was a local themed restaurant a short walk away where my colleagues and I ate which was very pleasant. I understand that this is a very popular destination in the summer months.
Although the hotel and room were very nice and staff friendly, I was very surprised to find that although classed as a four star hotel, there was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. (even though glasses were supplied). The only way was to purchase drinks in the bar area or cold drinks from the receptionist. I did manage to obtain some hot water from the the bar late in the evening (luckily my colleagues were Czech and could request what I was after) as I had my own TBags/milk .
Nothing. Actually there was nothing we liked. I really want to add some good comment but during my frequent traveling career, this is the first time I cannot left any good comments. I am really sorry.
We arrived in the evening around 20:00. On the booking.com it was written that they have two more rooms for 65 and 85 EUR. When we asked the receptionist guy for rooms, he told us that there were no free rooms. When I showed him that on booking they are advertising free rooms he corrected himself, he said "yes we have two free rooms, 125 EUR/room" - we left the hotel as we wanted to find a cheaper option. After half hour, we made the reservation via booking, rooms for 85 and 65 EUR. We went back to the hotel and showed to the receptionist that we made a reservation for those rooms for much lower prices. He started to shake and the longest check-in of my career started. It took 40 minutes for two person to check-in. The restaurant meanwhile closed so we could not even have dinner. The rooms were dirty, full of spider nest, not to talk about the blankets. In the morning at the check-out, we got separated bills even if we asked and we were confirmed the opposite. WIFI was extra slow, the air conditioner in the room was dirty, bad smell from the bathroom. Booking should check them for sure....
