Pros: Welcoming owners, care for my bike - stored in locked garage. Cycle themed. Fabulous breakfast, more than I could eat, felt like friend of the family, rather than just a guest at hotel. quiet and cosy room, with fridge and stove top.
Cons: there was nothing I didn't like about this place
Pros: Perfect for cycle touring. Lovely hosts. Fantastic breakfast. A must stop for cycle tourists
Pros: Very friendly host and a wonderful surprise at the end of a long day of cycling.
Pros: Everything. It was right on the Eurovelo 6 trail. We had a lovely guesthouse in the garden. The shower was fantastic. The room was spacious and extremely clean. Our host went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable from supply a cold bottle of wine, doing our washing and helped with ordering dinner for us. It was such a great stay during a challenging ride of EV6. The temperature was so hot we needed to have an easy evening with very good AC and a great shower and we had it all.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was fantastic.
Pros: Excellent breakfast.
Cons: The bed Was too small. A little bit noisy from The street.
Pros: The welcome, with a fresh beer after one day riding under 40 degres, has a taste of heaven. The room is wide, clean and very nice. It's perfect to relax. Within 20 mn by feet there are shops, post office... The breakfast is outstanding: well presented, tasty and enormous. Pros: Gorgeous complex!
Cons: The corners of the room were with spider nets and dirt.
Pros: Rooms, pool, food and facilities were all great. bar and kitchen staff were all jolly, smiley and helpful. Other reception staff were really kind and allowed us to use the pool beyond the check-out time which was wonderful and the horse show that we happened to find out about was incredible and a real bonus. Thankyou everyone at Varga Tanya for such a memorable stay.
Cons: Some of the reception staff were a bit difficult with the strict release of keys for some of our party who arrived a bit earlier, but it was sorted.
Cons: Breakfast from 8:00am, long time for check out
Pros: As usual we had an enjoyable and relaxing night at Varga. It is a hidden gem, with pitoresque landscapes, warm and cosy rooms and uber nice personnel. We arrived late at night and they offered to prepare our dinner even though the kitchen was closed. They make the best effort to have a memorable time there. I strongly recommend to spend at least one night here.

Pros: Very friendly host. Great location.
Cons: An airco would have been welcome.
Pros: Beautiful calm place, ideal for owners of dogs
Cons: Room with door to kitchen, its too noisy there
Pros: After we have taken the keys we left alone - in a little farm. which is near the village. Only we. the plants around, several very cute cats and the birds. If I was more thoughtful I could take one of my tents and to sleep under the sky ... The rooms are well equipped, one of the bathrooms is very big.
Cons: As the last part of the roads to the house are dirt ones. it will be good approach if the hosts send to their guests a map with marked route with the shortest dirt road part. If not - other people may follow their stupid GPS (as we did) and to stay in the middle of nowhere after driving 3 km via dirt road, Special thanks to our hosts and their neighbour - they saved us. Finally we reached the farm in a minute. If you want the same - you have to choose the road beginning nearby the church in the village.
Cons: Rough road to villa, beds not comfy , sheets old,
Cons: It was difficult to find the hotel, but once found it was very nice, clean and peaceful!
Pros: Nice place, spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen, great owner. Excellent relaxation !
Cons: Nic takoveho nebylo.
Pros: Good value price/ conditions. You can enjoy the quiet country life.
Cons: Many flies, not that nice with a small child, but hey that’s the fun in country life.
Pros: Some reviewers mentioned flies in the kitchen. I confirm that there are lots. My cat had much fun chasing them. There is a guestbook for the visitors to add their opinion about the property. I like the direct approach to collecting feedback, although mostly people write how everything was perfect and unforgettable in various languages. If you see my review there, you'll find it quite different from the others. I was traveling from abroad and got stuck in a huge queue at the customs. I have arrived at about 3 a.m., so I didn't get to meet the host, but they were smart enough to leave the key and a note with my name (misspelled) on the door, and to inform me about it via an SMS. That was great. The refrigerator had some food in it, as is sometimes the case in such apartments, and I helped myself to some leftover pizza, which was a life saver after the 4 hours at the border, and over 9 hours of driving total. I'm giving this property the perfect 10 score, because it really was cool, despite some of the negative experiences I'm adding below.
Cons: I have arrived very late at night, so I could not see into the yard, which made me question if I arrived at the correct place at all. There is a sign at the last turn to the property, but when you are at the gates, there is no indication of whether it's the correct ones. Being the first time there, in pitch darkness, not a fun question to have in the middle of the night in a foreign-speaking country, and with no Internet access. Why not put up a sign with the property name at or above the entrance? The kitchen is shared among all the guests. I didn't expect that at all. I indicated a preference for a quiet room, but was put in the room that shares a wall with (and a door to) the common kitchen. The people who got up way before me didn't let me sleep in the early morning. And I didn't even lock the door, not knowing about the arrangement. Good thing I didn't leave it wide open, as I initially wanted to let the cat chase the flies all through the night, but then I thought he wouldn't let me sleep with all the running. When the other guests woke up early and had their breakfast, they could have thought that my cat was one of the farm cats and let him out into the yard. That would certainly not end well. He was so scared when he saw some chickens outside through the window, he had to hide under the bed! At that point I realized that the noisy neighbors were the real owners of the pizza that I ate in the night, which didn't at all help me get back to sleep. It was some nice German family with children, who didn't mention the missing food in their guestbook entry. They have left the book open on the page where I have added my note the night before. I think they were puzzled by the message in the alien alphabet from Futurama.
Pros: Remote place in a field area. the host is welcoming . The rooms are basics but comfortable. good value for money.
Cons: the place is supposed to be very quiet. Unfortunately for us, we experienced a very noisy neighbor guests who arrived at 1am in the morning : they began to cook ( our room was next to the kitchen) and started the washing machine.... it was very loud in our bedroom until 3.30am, very disappointing as we came there because it was supposed to a quiet place..
Pros: Truly rural settings (keep an eye open for ostriches in a neigbouring farm). Nice room, adequate kitchen., air conditioning. You will never be waken up by traffic noise (perhaps by birds, which is nice). Our family slept very well. Good price-quality ratio. We liked it very much, regardless of the "minus" comments about the location.
Cons: A friendly warning: the place is at about a 30-minute drive from the motorway (in fact, from everything), and some of the roads leading there are rural indeed (a wild roedeer crossed the road directly in front of us). If you prefer your own food and drinks (the kitchen is adequate), buy them before driving there. And only use Google Maps, as the owner suggests.
Szerencsecsillag Vendégház in Kiskőrös provides accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a terrace. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The units will provide guests with a fridge. Szerencsecsillag Vendégház offers a children's playground. Harta is 38 km from the accommodation, while Kiskunmajsa is 45 km from the property.
Pros: I liked it here very much. Quiet location, clean accommodation, fair prices, decent wifi, very friendly hosts. I'll be coming back here again.
Pros: A beautiful house as in the photo, with large grounds containing a barbeque, children's slide and swing, pond with water lillies and ample parking. Inside had a large lovely furnished room with good quality furniture and decorations. The bathroom was large, as was the shower, and the entire accommodation was immaculately clean and comfortable The house is in the middle of the country, with total tranquility and exhilarating air to breath.
Cons: The description on BOOKING.com was not accurate. There was no tea/coffee maker, microwave, kitchenette, iron, electric kettle, kitchenware, stovetop, toaster or dining table. The proprietor did not speak English, but showed me the room and took me to the private part of the house to fill in forms. If there were separate kitchen facilities I would have expected to have been showed them. The property is 7km/4.4 miles from Kikoros, and there is no shop, cafe, or any retail outlet whatsoever on the route through country lanes., therefore I had no access to food nor could I make any hot drink. There is no air-con, but a fan is provided. The smart and modern t.v. had 64 channels, but 51 of them, including all English speaking, said 'scramble channel' leaving only 11 Hungarian channels. Kikoros is a pretty little town, with lots of flowers and park seating, but also pretty boring, with little to do but visit the few restaurant/bars.

Pros: The place is very clean and also child friendly. Location is very relaxing , quiet and full with the sounds of nature. Staff is human , friendly and professional. There is everything one needs. The restaurant is very good. I truly feel relaxed. Children liked it very much. The 60+ horses galloping around are giving the place majestic scenery specially on sunset.
Pros: Interesting place to stay. Were only one night, but would stay longer. It is really a big ranch. More than 100hectares.
Cons: It is on the main road, but if you google the address, it brings you to another place.
Pros: Outstanding value for money! If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place, you found it! Great room, nice breakfast. Actually they have a very good restaurant, we also had dinner and it was delicious! They also have vegetarian options! Polite staff! We will be back for sure in the future!!
Pros: While riding my bike on the property my tyres were punctured by a very hard weed, the director of Biczo Csarda took me and my wheels to the nearest bike shop, ten km from the hotel to get it fixed and returned just five minutes before her presentation to a German tour group.
Cons: Should warn visitors regarding the danger of riding a bike on the grounds.
Pros: We used the place as a one night stay during our journey but the place has a lot more to offer, especially if you love horses. It is situated in a wonderful place full of green and it's easy to find. The food at the restaurant is very nice and the portions are big. The room was clean and comfortable and there was an a/c.
Cons: There isn't any reception so everything is done by the restaurant staff. Unfortunately the staff we met, except for the managers-owners does not speak any English, only German.

Private parking is possible on site.
Cons: A WiFi connection in the room is not available
Pros: The room was spacious and very nice!
Cons: Nothing really.
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: There was no air conditioning
Pros: Very clean rooms, friendly staff, nice environment. Highly recommended.
Cons: Food was very substantial, high in fat. It might be not appropriate for one who wants to consume moderate calories.
Pros: We chose this place only for accomodation although it was far from any supermarket (12km, in Solt), but it was like a jewel in the middle of the puszta. The rooms are like in the photos. The classic style of the furniture provides it a cozy and comfortable ambient inside them. Although it is located beside the long road 52 and there is much traffic, its sound did not bother us because the windows are well soundproof. We thought that it would be an isolated and lost place beside the Natural Park and we discovered that this was not true. The place is well-known not only by the lorries drivers but by the people of the surrounding villages. Furthermore, the food of the restaurant is simply exceptional: well cooked, extremely well served in decoration (unusual in a restaurant beside a road) and a high level cuisine, not only in traditional Hungarian dishes. Breakfast was included and they provide you a list to choose. Whatever you choose, it will be very very good. Simply, a "must" in this area.
Cons: The smell of fried food is in the corridors of the first floor, and because of the nearby lakes of the Natural Park, there are many mosquitoes. However, what we considered it is worrying is the time to serve the dishes. Perhaps you have to wait almost for one hour for the first dish. And almost another 30min for the dessert. Some people did not want to wait for more time and went out of there, of course. It is too much time to be waiting even for an exceptional meal, because you have the feeling that someone forgot to ask for your order... and this is unacceptable in an exceptional place like this.
Pros: Location fantastic if you are interested in seeing the wildlife of the national park. Salt lakes within walking distance of the hotel - ideal for early morning or evening walks to the birds going to and leaving roost. Plenty of other walking trails nearby. The room was large and laid out nicely - it was nice to have a sofa. The bed was fairly comfortable. The staff were helpful and the restaurant downstairs was very handy. Breakfast was included in our stay with a good choice of hot options and a couple of cold ones. There was an extensive menu for lunch and dinner.
Cons: The very busy road outside was noisy from early in the morning until late at night, although from inside the room with the window shut this couldn't really be heard. It would have been nice if the restaurant tables were on the other side of the building, looking out onto the garden or river, rather than the car park and road: this would also alleviate the noise from the traffic whilst eating. It would have been nice to have a few more options without meat on the menu, but the choices were varied otherwise.
Cons: Kitchen is closed till 10 p.m.
Pros: Fantastic food
Pros: Spacious, comfortable room. On main road so easy to find. Traffic all night but not a problem unless you are a very light sleeper.
Cons: Wifi was very weak and frequently disconnected.
Cons: The location is directly on a strong used road. It was very loud during the night because a lot of trucks are passing the street in front of the panzion during the night. I think the rooms on the back side are more quiet. The restaurant is good but not for Hungary on the higher level of the price.

Pros: Great peaceful location. Staff were super friendly!
Pros: Very helpful front desk service.
Cons: By far not precise add - no working restaurant, actually it seems there is no such in whole city, especially if you look it at 2100 or later. This hotel is more or less summer one and in winter, even if you simply stay overnight, it is just out of 90% of it's services and practically o guests..

Pros: Place was great! Very authentic, and the hosts were amazing and friendly! Went the extra mile for us. Definitely recommended!
Pros: If you want to stay in a period house, stay here, knowing there are no mod cons, think of it as a living museum.
Cons: The host didn’t speak any English which made it very difficult to explain how things worked. But that won’t matter if you can speak Hungarian.
Pros: The owner is very welcoming and the environment is really curious, like it comes from the fifties.
Pros: interesting decor and a lovely lady who runs the place. Beautiful eider down bedding ensured a good sleep. Catfish stew at the nearby Csarda did the rest. Perfect.
Pros: The owner is a very polite and helpfull lady
Cons: The kingdom of the dust! Objects, carpets pillows from 19th century, meaning that the is there since 200 years
