The hotel is located by the downtown and the waterfront making it pleasant to walk around. No elevator
Great little hotel, staff was kind and helpful.
Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, They had cookies / sweets probably because it was Christmas. Room was clean, place looks a little "mature" but everything was in good shape. Beds were very comfortable, hotel in good location. Would stay there again. We had to go home.....
i was a bit disappointed with our room. we paid extra for an "ocean view" and it was mostly a parking lot view. the room smelled weird and the pictures online didn't reflect the decor. overall i wouldn't choose to stay here again but i didn't have a horrible experience. room smelled funny
good staff, clean rooms, comfy bed, near the airport, stay here often. breakfast could always be a bit more extensive.
Comfortable bed and clean

Location, staff and the hotel has a pool. A/C didn't work very well and heating light in bathroom kept flickering.

convenient location pillows
Close to airport Noisy location. Street traffic all night long. Heat/AC very loud. No HD TV. No shelf in shower for soap, shampoo, etc. Long walk to room.
My reservation was not in the system. I had to stay elsewhere. The staff was helpful in finding a hotel with rooms. My reservation was lost.
Super friendly and accommodating staff. Great location.
Location Noise from workers upgrading rooms. Starting at 7am.
This hotel was not lavish but was very affordable. It was the least expensive that I could find in the area with 3 stars. This savings allowed me to experience the other luxuries in Victoria like high tea at The Empress! I would stay here again. The rooms were fine and updated but the rest of the hotel was a bit run-down. My room had a new flat screen TV, air conditioner and refrigerator/microwave and it was very clean so I was extremely happy with my choice.
close to airport, clean, friendly staff, quiet nada
the location, we travel to Sidney quite often, and it's nice to have a clean hotel to stay at that is close to everything. Some of the others we've stayed at need to renovate for the rates they charge. loved it all
Pleasant if simple rooms, most in a courtyard-ish setting with limited views out to the Salish Sea. Very quiet at night. This is far from a destination hotel - it's a handful of rooms in a luxe condo building with a couple of busy venues popular with the locals. Can do much better for the money elsewhere in the Victoria area.
We had one of the signature suites for a girls weekend and it was awesome to have so much room and 2 full baths was definitely a plus.
Ideal vicinity, plenty to do,friendly and helpful staff, quiet rooms Nothing
Kindness at desk Too pretencious. A fake "Organic"? Just the veggies and some berries. They use at the rooms conventional coffee, whitener soluble milk, and white sugar. No organic milk or suggar. The employees at the restaurant were young people from town or students: Good acctitude and will BUT No experience, very bad service.
Clean and functional. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Definitely not a luxury spot but the location is very good and the hotel does the job. Would stay there again.
Centrally located on the island; across from the tourist information booth; across from the bus stop to the ferry; near lots of food options (restaurant, prepared, and grocery); Dimly lit common hallway upstairs; no towel/mat to step out on in the shower
Location was central..no car so walked everywhere..easy It was a hot spell..fan was nice but AC would have been great..but for a few days a year...take the heat.
Cute room. Close to town and shops. Good people and great food. The traffic noise was terrible. The room was too warm.
The setting. The buildings themselves. Very nicely designed and appointed. The staff were very nice but inexperienced or 'green'. The New Years Eve dinner was extremely disorganized. We arrived shortly after 7 p.m. but were not serve our meals until 9 p.m., and this after our sister-in-law made quite a scene.
The amazing views, the beautiful vista, the hotel itself with it's high ceilings and well appointed decor. The front desk staff and wedding catering staff were thoughtful, friendly and efficient. Just the right place for a wedding or couples retreat. Breakfast restaurant staff didn't seem to know that the entire hotel was fully booked and could not handle the volume of people.Understaffed, overwhelmed even a bit testy.Toilet overflowed upon arrival, despite calling 3 times never was fixed or cleaned.
All rooms face quiet working harbor. We had added feature of a colony of sea lions (present Oct-Nov). Suite was roomy with kitchen and dining area. Several close by restaurants and wineries. Our promotional booking included $100 in dining credits.
The view was the best view ever! It was very 90's but clean and well kept.
self contained unit. right on the water. walking distance to a few restaurants/pubs and little shops no restaurant during the week within the hotel, therefore no room service. I was there on business and did not feel like wandering down the streets to eat.
