Island Break

Let me start with the family that own and run the place! Their hospitality was spot on. Considering their experience and expertise in various areas of hospitality over the years, no surprises! The entire place is run by three brothers, who personally take care of all aspects of the business from cleaning to excursions to cooking to chatting up with guests :) They made us feel at home instantly. Next the food, the food was absolutely divine - the roshis, mashuni, fish curries, dessert, passion fruit juice, rice pudding with passion fruit - all of it! The guesthouse is located close to the beach with all the coral reefs, i mean in this small, quaint island everything is close to the beach! The rooms are well provided for and they take the extra trouble to get what their guest wants and to ensure their comfort (in my case, it was a hot water bag for cramps and they were sweet enough to borrow their sister's hot water bag from home for my use). Fulidhoo has this 'other-world charm', to which the energy and vibe that the hosts have, add to the experience.

Island break is run by three brothers who were great hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our family had a wonderful experience with well thought-out activities. They spent time explaining the marine animals we saw and shared Maldivian culture with us which made our experience meaningful. Staying at island break was relaxing and chilled because the brothers made guests feel right at home. The accommodation is beautiful and a 2 min walk to bikini beach. The beach in front of the accommodation is rocky and great for snorkelling during high tide - there are lots of marine life in this area and around the island in general.

Perfect place to spend your honeymoon. A beautiful island with turquoise sea and best hosts ever. From the first to the last day staff made sure that we have everything we need and even more. Greeted us on arrival with fresh coconut juice, helped with suitcases, made sure everything was easy and comfortable for us, took us on stingray feeding on their own accord. They even went an extra mile and surprised us with candlelight dinner and breakfast on a beach. Room was regularly cleaned, very comfortable and airconditioned, with provided toiletries and bathroom and beach towels and bag. Bikini beach is just around the corner, 1-minute walk from the guest house. Food was amazing, we booked 7 days all-inclusive and it was the best choice ever. Wide range of local dishes customized to our flavor, fresh fruit juices and amazing desserts. Hosts were extremely friendly and nice, and we will be sure to visit again.
