The location isnt brilliant! It's at the end of a potholed drive and at the end of an industrial estate - but it is only 5 minutes from the town centre of Buxton. The rooms are not big and the bathroom is tiny but it has all the facilities. However, the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was more than enough. The price is very attractive and of course, parking is free which is not the case in the centre of Buxton. We would stay again! I suppose we would have preferred a bigger bathroom. There is only room for one person at a time.
Very friendly family and staff, and will probably stay again when visiting Salford
Good clean hotel ideally situted for pubs restaurants and metrolink None
Staff is really kind and helpful. Nothing to be complained.
bed was very comfy steep stairs
Lovely decorated and clean premises. Large bedroom. Great parking. Lovely breakfast. No soap.
Service second to none - very friendly N/A
Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, handy location near the metro with a free car park.
Ample space in room, lovely pillows, really good dining room and pesentation. Cooked breakfast, very good.Small lounge with bar and tv lounge very nice indeed. Secure hotel with ample parking at rear. Impression of exterior of hotel in need of paint and to windows to bring them in line with the new plastic that have been fitted. Small wall unit/shelves/or cupboard in bathroom for toiletries would be helpful.
It was very good value for money. the route to get there from the A56 was not easy as the surrounding roads are not signposted, but i don't have sat nav.
The best hotel I have stayed in of the price range. Excellent throughout and the attention to detail that just gives that little bit extra. Decent cooked breakfast too, which in most places I'd normally skip. The bed was a little too soft for my taste
Friendly, inexpensive, laid-back.
Well located for Oldham and surrounding areas. Good value. Very clean and comfortable. Good breakfast.
A very peaceful location on the edge of the moors, but with a pub and an Indian restaurant within staggering distance! A pleasant roomy hotel with helpful staff.
Comfortable room, nice and clean
Excellent evening meal offered at a very fair price.
The staff were very friendly and helpful Rooms very dated in decor and design. Felt it was overpriced
Meal portion size too small
Very basic and seemed expensive. I like dogs but they have no place near a kitchen. Dont like to see staff smoking near kitchen either.
The location was spectacular plus it was only 1.5 miles from my son's home. we were visiting new grandchild and wanted somewhere convenient to stay!! Would definitely stay again. The fact that the beer pumps were not working was a bummer as I prefer draught beer!!
The reception is quite helpful and friendly. The room is quite small. Almost no space to walk. The internet is bad and slow.
Plenty of hot water beverage tray always full heating on if required very friendly place all staff are really nice The bistro does not cater for infants no highchairs and on sunday the bar is covered with only one staff that has to cover the bar and reception and you are left waiting for a drink.
Excellent booking in services. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good size room. Good location. Easy to find. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Bathroom a little dated. Shower was poor (very slow water flow). Didn't provide enough hot water. Bathroom was cold.
I found the Lennox Lea to be a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay and my room was spotlessly clean with good facilities The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the Full English breakfast which was excellent. I really could not find any fault with this hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it. I cannot think of anything I did not like
Friendly staff Bathroom small. Toilet roll holder badly positioned directly behind toilet
Convinient location for shopaholics, value for money No hot water at one point (night). Tea / coffee facilities poor, old and dirty kettle.
Spacious room, comfortable bed and good tv set. Good value for money
Staff were helpful in telling us how to get to Manchester. Facilities were very comfortable.
2nd time staying in lennox lea, it is clean, convenient and handy for travel into city. would stay again dont do food at weekends, you have to go out. not convenient if you have no transport.
The staff were very helpful and responded quickly to any requests we had (asking for a cup, asking for a glass, asking for water to be put in kettle) The cups and glasses should be readily available at breakfst time. At breakfast time it was a little cramp. I paid for a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom but the room did not have one, we had to via the corridor to use the shower etc.
I booked two single rooms for my father and his brother who flew to Manchester for a football match on Sat 6th December, I was absolutely discusted when they told me they paid £30 on each trip to the city of which there was 4 trips even though it says on your website its 5mins from the city. My fathers room had no bathroom although there was a bathroom beside his room he was awoken at 5am by 2 girls screaming drunk in the bathroom, I understand this is not a fault of the hotel but it just added to their disaster stay. My family and I have stayed in many hotels in Ireland and beyond and have never heard of this level of service. Through my work I deal with lots of hotels and I will not be recommending your hotel to either friends or colleagues.
The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The TV in the room was nice. Having the breakfast included in the price was a plus. The rooms were smaller than I thought. It would be nicer if the double rooms were more spacious. In terms of room around the bed and other objects. The car park surface needs to be improved. The track is a bit bumpy.
Staff were very helfull in helping us arrange taxis, book same, order food to be delivered to the hotel and allowing us to eat within the public areas. The check out time of 11am was also much appreciated!
Comfortable and cleanliness -
going home The reception staff were nice and polite but the owner/manager was aggressive and refused to listen to complaints. The room wasn't en-suite as advertised and the shared bathroom was of a very poor standard. The photos on the site are nothing like the reality
The rooms were fantastic and very comfortable and the staff were extremely helpful not having airconditioning was a little frsutrating on a hot night but not too bad i guess. The wireless internet was fine, however the signal was a little weak as my room was on the top floor. The internet did work fine, just dropped in and out at times
Quiet. Rooms much smaller than I expected.
None Room was both damp and dirty, hair in the shower, furniture very very tired,no toilet door in room 14, unable to lock your door from the inside to feel safe!! No blinds in room 16, a very low standard b&b not a 3* hotel at all.
nothing cleanliness, dark haris and bug in bed, dust all along skirting boards and blinds.
Please write at least 15 words There is a simple reason why this hotel is so cheap... I will let you make your mind up yourself!
very welcoming, good parking, & accurate advert no
bedrooms were clean and tidy, hotel was central if you didnt like cornflakes, tuff no other cereal, no rolls only half a loaf of thick bread for toast, only jam no mamalde, this wasnt a continetal breakfast, just a few things on a table
Clean convenient and good value 4% charge to use a credit card
We are both a little large so we found the bed a bit small
It was ideal for a base close to the airport and i cannot thank them enough for printing out my Boarding pass. Plus changing my room to back of the house because i am a light sleeper
Bathroom was filthy. toilet had human dirt not flushed away, shower was so dirty we could not even use it, still had an empty shampoo sachet lying on soap dish. breakfast was toast and tea/coffee, very basic.
Buffet breakfast was included.
