Cons: Finding the place at night was complicated Had to call to get access code to get in
Pros: A quiet and peaceful villa near Aix-en-Provence. The room was well arranged and there was a bathtub, so it was good to relieve fatigue. Each room has a terrace and chairs, so you can enjoy the view and the breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend stay here to stay
Cons: Nothing. FYI, It is a very private villa and even the gate that goes in has a password. I did not roaming mobile phone and it took me a long time to get in touch with the host.
Pros: Everything :-) Decoration The room (suite) The swimming-pool (so clear) The breakfast The dinner It is a beautiful place to see...
Cons: Nothing to say

Pros: The setting is more than beautiful. Lovely hosts!
Pros: Secluded. Beautiful pool and outdoor kitchen. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful hosts. Room had convenient kitchenette and terrace had BBQ grill.
Cons: A/C did not work (but evening temps cooled off room quickly with windows open. Bed was not very comfortable.
Pros: welcome - breakfast
Pros: welcoming hosts, perfect breackfast, very peaceful place to stay.
Pros: Everything! The place is amazing! At the heart of the wood, so green and quite and peaceful. The cabine is lovely and comfortable, Sophie, the owner, is so nice and helpful. And for those who come during the summer there is also a very lovely pool. Highly recommended!
Cons: The only thing I would recommend to improve are the towels in the bathroom. They are big and clean, of course, but not soft enough anymore after so many laundries.
Pros: Breakfast was perfect
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The room was tastefully decorated , comfortable and very clean. The environment was quiet and relaxing. The pool area was lovely.
Cons: It would be good if the electronic gate could be remotely controlled.
Pros: - The breakfast was super - Tips for what to do super helpful, we made our complete program on these - Room as up-to-date, personal and clean - By car most places in the Provence are well reachable
With a stay at Gite De la Sueur au Bonheur in La Bouilladisse, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Calanques National Park and Santons Maryse Di Landro Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Marc and Isabelle were very helpful. Isabelle spoke good English. Everything was clean and although small the place was comfortable.
Cons: There was a small ceramic hotplate for cooking which wasn't enough for our needs as we like to cook at home. Small hand basin for washing up!
Pros: Great location for relaxed holiday. Locals very nice and welcoming.
Cons: Kitchen could be slightly better equipped, but was sufficient for cooking simple meals - only a minor quibble as everything else was excellent!
When you stay at Le Relais de Saint Ser in Puyloubier, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Montagne Sainte-Victoire. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Planning an event in Puyloubier? This hotel has facilities measuring 2583 square feet (240 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Amazing views and the best breakfast. Coffee was amazing as well!
Pros: The restaurant is very good, the Hotel is very clean and new.
Cons: The rooms are small and the staff is not professionally trained. Had to carry my luggage alone (I was alone with my son). Very expensive, not good value for money.
Pros: It is a fantastic place. Great restaurant with a unique view. Very freindly and helpful staff. I enjoy every minute.
Cons: Everything was well.
Pros: Gorgeous place against the most beautiful mountain in the world!! In credible nature , hospitality and food in the middle of awesome wine country and wonderful easy drive to Aix
Pros: You can’t ask for a more spectacular location - with mountain walks to the rear and huge valley views from the superb pool to the south. Great evening dinner too. Very lovely and helpful staff. Comfy beds and linen.
Cons: Not much room in the room to manoeuvre cases (no stand) and a room safe that was not fixed in place and broken. AC was effective but a bit noisy and we were glad the heatwave had turned so it was cool enough to switch off at night and open the window. Hot milk at breakfast for coffee would be a nice touch given it’s quite a pricey breakfast at 13€ (quality ‘bio’ produce - some ham and cheese - but little more than a continental breakfast)
Pros: The views from the terrace were simply stunning and the patio furniture amongst the most comfortable I’ve enjoyed at a hotel in quite some time! The whole establishment looked classy and modern and was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also modern and well appointed - the big rain-like shower head is always popular with us!
Cons: The room was a little smaller than expected, but otherwise fine. It would have been helpful to have had a small fridge in the room to have allowed us to come back to a cold drink after long days in the sun. It wasn’t a problem for us, but all of the rooms were upstairs and there wasn’t a lift, so some may find it difficult to get luggage to/from the room.
Pros: wonderful view of beautiful mountain. food (both of breakfast and dinner) was excellent!
Pros: Very nice location with spectacular view. Nice rain shower and very comfy beds. Very good food during dinner. Nice pool.
Cons: Seems there's some lack of attention to detail, which is why I believe this place does not deserve a 9 average score here on booking. Shower door rubbers where hanging loose. Quite some mold/rust around should door hinges. Several room lights not working. Poolside shower not working. Very lean and insufficient breakfast.
With a stay at La Fenière in La Bouilladisse, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Calanques National Park and Santons Maryse Di Landro Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Small, cosy style and very friendly staff
Cons: Welcome poor, not given room booked, poor response, tried to blame us until booking shown to them, proprietor argued with staff as to whose fault in front of us, made us feel awful, staff didn't really want to resolve.
Pros: Sincere welcome of family. Great food at resto.pretty outdoor area for eating and around pool
Pros: This small 5-room hotel has everything! Beautiful gardens, lovely swimming pool, tennis courts, great breakfasts, and welcoming and gracious hosts. The hotel is located in the countryside (but very near Aix-en-Provence), so a car is necessary to reach it. We stayed here a week and didn't want to leave. Enjoy!
Pros: Perfect place for relaxing days, quiet and idyllic pool, cosy room. Several restaurants in the near surroundings, handmade breakfast. The landlords have been very nice, always helpful and very friendly. We felt totally welcome all the time and had a wonderful holiday there!
Pros: Ideal position for Marseille airport - the facilities including the pool were good and the villa was close to various restaurants - the breakfast was excellent and we were well looked after
Cons: The room was not large but adequate for one night.

Aix-en-Provence is 10 km away and Marseille Airport is 41 km away.
Pros: Very quiet and beautiful location. Pierre and Dominique are both very nice and lovely hosts. Dominique is an excellent cook!
Cons: Nothing to complain about. Unfortunately the weather was not good enough to have a dip in the beautiful pool.
Pros: We were made very welcome and the location was superb. Very quiet and peaceful. Our room though small was clean and comfortable. Though it was not air conditioned in very high temperatures up to the mid 30s during the day, the walls are thick and we slept well, though the duvet was not much used! There was a kettle and sachets of coffee and tea in the room - you don't always get that in France. Every day there was a fresh bottle of water for each person and we could use a communal refrigerator to cool it and soft drinks we'd brought with us. We decided to take the table d'hòte dinners - maybe a little expensive but they included a quarter litre of wine and dining elsewhere would have needed taxis given the strict French drink driving laws. You have to order in advance and both have to choose the same things from a wide choice, which was not a problem for us because we often end up choosing the same food as each other in restaurants. A particular highlight was dining on the terasse with a view of Montaigne Sainte Victoire - breathtaking so close. Breakfasts were very good - the home made yoghurt with sirop au saffron was a highlight. The 20m swimming pool was great and the water temperature ideal. There were plenty of loungers and parasols and we rarely had to share the pool area with others.
Cons: The price of an aperitif or digestif was higher than we had paid in Paris, so being from Aberdeen, we didn't buy any!
Pros: Beauty and tranquility of the environment, implacably clean rooms, exceptionally warm and kind hosts, superb breakfast and the host’s table, breathtaking views.
Pros: beautiful location with friendly staf and geest cooking
When you stay at Déjeunez Sous l'Arbre in Rousset, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Sainte-Victoire Golf. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: This hotel has a very friendly staff. The rooms are more like a crossing between a vacation cottage and a motel. The bed is comfortable and the WiFi works well. They have a restaurant that kind of belongs to the Hotel. At least you can put the dinner on your bill. This is not a budget restaurant but if you are willing to spend a little more you can have a very nice French meal there. The breakfast is typical mediterranean, i.e. Spartanic.
Cons: The room was not exactly in a bad shape or disrepair but there where a few (small) items broken, missing or not working.
Pros: The location was ideal for me as this was a business trip. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The onsite restaurant was superb and breakfast had a good selection.
Pros: Comfortable accommodation, much nicer than a corporate hotel. Great restaurant, friendly staff, I will stay there again in the future.
Pros: It was a great room under the trees . Totally relax, great breakfast, friendly staff. Loved the coffee machine in our room. Very quiet a night. Situation very good indicated, near to high way.
Cons: Too low ceiling in the room, location is between factories, industrial part of city
When you stay at Citotel Vallee De L'arc in Trets, you'll be 10 minutes by car from Sainte-Victoire Golf. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Being the only English around
Cons: The fact there was no one on the reception -it is closed on a Sunday afternoon- not helpful when you have had a long drive
Pros: A nice historical building.
Cons: Rooms are very small and need interior renewal.
Cons: Check in hours very late 3pm not good and check out to early 11am. Price a bit to high and did not include breakfast! Staff not very friendly, not bothered to talk to you.
Pros: Nice setting right in the center of the small town.
Cons: Unfortunately they closed the lounge with nice couches at 20.00pm.
Pros: The room was nice.
Cons: The road was under renovation and there was a lot of dust and it was very hard to park the car. There is no staff in the hotel after 8 pm.
Pros: ENTRANCE HALL &STAIRS WERE MAGNIFICENT, first trip up the stairs filled us with pleasurable expectation, soon to be shot down.
Cons: Tiny room suitable only for a single. In dire need of decoration. Bathroom door would not shut. No plug in the bath. No shower bracket, tiles in poor condition. Poor lighting in the room. Aircon heating noisy. We left a day early! Photos on web site looked fantastic, this room was marketed as CLASSIC. ROOM 106.
Pros: The room was nice & exceeded expectations. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed for excellent night of sleep. The staff is quite friendly & helpful
At the heart of the vineyards, 15 minutes from Aix-en-Provence, the four-star Mercure Aix-en-Provence Sainte Victoire hotel perches at the foot of the Sainte Victoire mountain. The air-conditioned rooms combine comfort and well-being in a Provencal décor in a 13th century building. For business trips, this charming hotel offers all the necessary equipment for working in complete tranquillity. After a visit or a meeting, relax by the edge of the swimming pool on the terrace of our restaurant.
Pros: An old farmhouse converted into a hotel, very French. Nice size room with a small yard. Good coffee tea in the room, good size bathroom. An average hotel in a strategic location if you are visiting Marseilles, Verdon and Mont Ventoux in one trip.
Cons: RESTAURANT Even with abundance choice of places to eat in Aix area, we decided to give the hotel restaurant a try. We were disappointed both by the service and the quality of food. To begin with when we arrived, my wife (an Asian) asked, in English, if it was too late to have dinner. The waiter, looked at her, paused and with no expression turned and spoke to me (a non French speaking Italian) in French, as if my wife was not even there! We were appalled. When we complained, the waiter was sent back to our table to take our order and this time in perfect English! After confronting him, we found out that not only he spoke and understood English well, but that for him, acting as he did was not even a problem. He also pointed out with a hint of arrogance that he had been a waiter for over 20 years. This further confirmed that he understood my wife from the start but decided to disregard her for whatever reason. Whatever his problem was, racial or gender discrimination is unacceptable especially in hospitality business. This is 2018 NOT 1918. If the waiter couldn't see past skin color or gender ( we couldn't see an other reason for him to act the way he did but these 2 ) then he shouldn't be in this line. We were so unhappy with the incident, we checked out the next morning even if we booked for longer stay. Had we managed to find another hotel the same night, we would have checked out immediately. No matter how nice the hotel is, we wouldn't want to spend money in an organization that retain this kind of individual. We are frequent travelers and traveled the world and never have we came across anything such as this. FOOD On to the food, our over priced 18 Euro salad came looking like it was a day old. The leaves were brownish and inedible. We will just let the picture do the talking. Done here, never coming back and definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. ROOM If you are allergic to spiders, beware.
Pros: Great location, very nice hotel, very clean.
Cons: Expensive breakfast.
Pros: We stayed at this charming hotel while attending a wedding in the Trets area. It was very comfortable and clean, with an excellent breakfast buffet, lovely pool, and helpful, friendly staff. The remote location was somewhat challenging, as it is not near a bus stop and it’s not easy to get a taxi. I’m hindsight, a rental car would have been the way to go. The WiFi is very spotty, but with a little effort, we were able to find a place in the lobby that got service. On the whole, though, it was a very nice stay.
Cons: The WiFi was spotty, and the remote location, on a highway, makes it difficult to leave the premises unless you have your own car. But the hotel itself is a lovely oasis
Cons: Noisy doors slamming in the morning. Bad design.
Pros: The facilities and the landscape around are just incredible. The staff is very gentle and ready to assist. The Galiniere Restaurant inside the hotel was very nice too. Great enviroment to chill out.
Cons: Wifi barelly worked in the room. No frigobar/ refrigerator in the room. A/C not strong enough. It´s a pitty not everybody speaks good english but they did a lot ot effort to understand what we asked.
Pros: Good pool
Cons: Poor wifi Ran out of beer
Pros: The property has been restored to a very high standard
Cons: Whenever you need a member of staff they are never around . Also some of the waiting staff need to learn about " putting the customer first"
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there and the food was fine and the service good. A great location for art lovers wishing to visit Cezanne country especially mount Sainte Victoire which he frequently painted. The local natural beauty is amazing.
Cons: The rooms were a little tired and the local town was very quiet with very little open.
Cons: Shower facilities poir
Pros: The ambiance was excellent...Provence style.
Cons: The dinner and wine are too high prized comparing quality.
With a stay at Côté Sud Hotels Et Residences in La Bouilladisse, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Calanques National Park and Santons Maryse Di Landro Museum. Featured amenities include express check-in and multilingual staff. Free self parking is available onsite.
Located in Rousset, Garden & City Aix en Provence - Rousset is within a 15-minute drive of Sainte-Victoire Golf and Montagne Sainte-Victoire. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and an elevator (lift). Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Only unhappy that Payment was taken/blocked on 2 accounts & not refunded for a week.
Cons: Facilities & parking
Cons: bed was noisy when turning on it
Pros: Basic but cheap.
Pros: Convenient location near a large grocery market and my work location
Cons: The clerk who was in charge of the front desk was not very friendly. We arrived one hour before official check in window and inquired whether the room happened to be ready. She confirmed it was ready but seemed reluctant to let us drop off our belongings there. She eventually came to the conclusion that it made sense and gave us the key with a pout on her face. Someone had parked in our spot. I told her about it but she did not do anything. We needed to figure out who parked in our spot ourselves and resolve the issue. The free wi-fi is free but it doesn't really work. In our unit, there was one wi-fi SSID with a strong signal but it would not respond to DHCP requests and assign an IP address so it was not usable. We needed to go to particular corners of the villa to catch other SSIDs some of which worked but the data rate brought back memories of 14.4kbps modems. I went to the desk to inquire about the wi-fi issues and the same clerk still was there. I waited for her to attend to some new guests and started to say "wi-fi". As soon as she heard to word "wi-fi" she made an X sign with her forearms and said "I am closed now" . At this point I could not help but burst into a laughter and left to go to dinner with my family, grateful that we are only staying for one night.
Pros: It was normal and convenient.
Cons: Kitchenware was not good.
Cons: It is ridiculous that they ask you to book for having a breakfast Either they must include it in the price or not offer it at all I didn’t know I had to book it from the previous day, and next morning even if I said that I would pay for it the didn’t allow me to have it
Cons: The floor was very dirty upon arrival. It was vacuum cleaned, but not clean.
Pros: The staff were very friendly. Room was excellent. THere is a grocery store within 200m to get food for the kitchenette. And HEY theres a pool!
Pros: Price corresponds to what they offer.
Cons: One toilet for villa with 3 double rooms is not enough.
Pros: The location
Cons: Pool advertised has not been working for a while. It also was the hottest week of the year so far.
The avant-garde architecture of the Sure Hotel by Best Western Aix Sainte Victoire blends perfectly with the tranquility of the Provence countryside. The bedrooms are spacious with a panoramic view of the Sainte-Victoire Mountain, or the garden and the pool. Enjoy your stay.
Pros: It’s in the middle of nowhere but we had a wedding nearby so worked perfect. Good parking space. There’s a supermarket and a McDonalds at a 5min drive approx.
Cons: Outdated furniture and room in general.
Pros: Good breakfast bar - fresh juice and good variety of food. Breakfast hours. Ease of parking.
Cons: Reception staff awareness.
Pros: Good location if you need to be in the neighborhood for business. Good breakfast; quite and clean rooms.
Cons: Although rooms are clean, the carpet in the hallway is very (very!) dirty and should be replaced. Food in restaurant is ok but the atmosphere could be improved
Pros: Clean rooms, good restaurant, nice bar.
Cons: Restaurant closed on Sundays
Pros: clean and bright room
Cons: poor internet connection; bathroom faucet splashed
Pros: Nice place surrounded with vineyards
Cons: It was too cold in the room and no heating, only built-in A/C system was available. Although there was a portable heater in the closet
Pros: some bread was still ice cold , the scrambled eggs ( wonder what they were made with, )
