Friendly, helpful staff. Cleanliness, private beach (facilities not included in price), non expensive pizzeria The location. The hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere, very far from shops, amenities, port, etc. One should hire a car or use a taxi. Set menu for dinner - very little portions and not worth the money, I preferred having a pizza instead!
The beautiful Sicilian women working the front desk. Small rooms.
Very close to the beachside. Good food locations nearby. Staff incredibly friendly, helped us out a few times
outside restaurant was fab and staff very helpfull with train info
good restaurant, good parking facilities, nice pool. location not convenient for alternate dining choices. room not prepared for us (reservation for two, room supplied for one).
The staff where very friendly, unfortunately the season hadnt started and it was a bit quiet. Most of the facilities where not available at the time of our stay, however the hotel itself and the staff where excellent.
Staff was great and rooms fine. Location is in a port town.
Location; parking Restaurant offerings so-so
It was reasonably close to the train station, only a short walk. The hotel staff don't speak much english
Reception staff very Helpfull at breakfast I had to ask for milk, spoons, cereal bowls, coffee was cold and not a lot of choice left of cereal I think they were training a new member of staff
Staff were a great help, breakfast was OK. Good location, and I was able to extend my stay.. Nice. Better signage as it was difficult to find initially. Bathroom could have been cleaner eg. hairs on the floor..
The room was ok The hotel was quite basic and didn't represent a 4*.
The location and helpfulness of the staff
Good location close to city centre and not too far from the centrale station. Room smelt of cigarette smoke. Breakfast very basic. Only one person who was on duty when we arrived appeared to speak english. Difficult to communicate with other staff in the morning
Helpful staff, excellent room and bathroom with jakuzzi and needlepoint shower. Air-conditioner not working and it appeared that this was a cost saving measure as opposed to a temporary defect
Location, great view
It was very clean and the staff were very pleasant No restaurant on the premises.
It was brand new hotel, I was the only one there
This is an 18 room family-owned luxurious hotel which was carefully built and nicely furnished in the European way.
A modern, 2 years old hotel with first class bathroom and furnishings. Parking on street next to hotel, as well as hotel parking for a nominal charge was available. Hotel staff was great, excellent breakfast and bar.
reception staff, room equipment (very good for 4-star) cleaning - not really attentive (once forgot to leave fresh towels; leaft its stuff in the room, no glasses in the room...). No "support" for using beach - umbrellas, beach towels, etc.
Very nice new hotel, beautiful views of Mt Etna. The staff were very nice, did not speak much english but that wasn't a problem. Food was very good at their restaurant. No complaints really, no internet in the rooms, but was available in the office
The staff was very courteous and helpful with any needs or requests. The room, balcony and particulary the bathroom with its jacuzzi tub was splendid, modern, and everything was working perfectly. I enjoyed my time at this hotel with its beautiful roof pool and views of Sicily and was sad to leave. The hotel had a light continental breakfast in the morning but the restaurant was not open for dining. Not a problem though as there were two ristorantes/pizzerias within a short walking distance and a supermarket 1.5km away as well.
Everything from the spa tub to the giant bed, wonderful staff, and my favorite private balcony with chairs and table overlooking the ocean where I sat every morning and drank my fresh cappuccino- thats the way to wake up!!! Nothing- not one thing to dislike
The manager, Saverio, was absolutely excellent (and speaks very good English). Nothing was too hard and always helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in 6 weeks. Room was spacious and very clean. A little tricky to find, but our Tom Tom did well. Free parking is outside the hotel and sometimes it was difficult to get one but we always managed.
The staff was multi-lingual, very friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was also close to the start of the promenade that went alongside the water. The breakfast in the morning was very good. We liked this hotel so much that we have since stayed at it again.
convenient to the port in Reggio Calabria the staff spoke no English
close to harbour not enough info from desk re bus numbers, timetables of museums etc
Friendly and generous staff. Difficult to find good restaurants around but the best to continue my trip on ferry,it's just 100 meters away from the port. Poor surroundings,no restaurant at all. Taxi from train station ripped me off with 20 €. because if by bus, I got to walk with heavy luggage.
The room was very roomy with a large bathroom and clean. The staff were very helpful. No internet access. Not in a very nice area.
the rooms were spacious and it was within walking distance to the station and ferry the shower wasn't attached to the wall and wobbled when being used. It also took some time for the hot water to come through. The receptionist did't seem to know much English and couldn't give specific directions on where to find things in town.
The room itself was great
I answered to this question in in question 1 :) No
Beautifully designed and well appointed hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Room was beyond my expectation and in particular the quality of the beds and the bed linen was luxurious. In room information easy to use and comprehensive.
Although it was stated in your site that the hotel proide shutle service from and to the airport there was no such service.Adding the cost of taxi to the hotel rate makes it relatively expensive.
The aircoditions machinery. Because it was very hot whet i lived at the hotel. About the food in the morning. The ham and the cheese was only chanced every 3 days. The food was places on salat leaves. On day 3 they were brown. You have to change it every day. But the taste was ok.
Friendly staff Room very small and no view
I did not like anything about this dirty, dingy, charmless hotel.
Well appointed rooms and a very good restaurant on the top floor overlooking the straits of Messina. The atmosphere is that of a typical business or conference hotel, there were two conferences going on while we were there. Parking a car on the streets around the hotel is impossible. The hotel has an underground garage for a limited number of cars. However the access is not for the faint hearted... The garage as noted above
The view from the room The WiFi did not work in the room
A comfortable hotel with reasonable facilities given it's size. The spa/pool centre next door was good although there was an extra cost to use this. We liked the pizzeria 10 mins walk from the hotel and the Le Vecchie Mura steak (and everything else) house even closer, but set out of sight of the road. The road outside was quite noisy occasionally due to young 'motorists' and their music. The nearby lake side area of Ganzirri could be beautiful but is spoilt by be very dirty and frequently jammed with traffic; none of this is the hotel's fault however.
The location was ok. It wasn't anything like online. We got stuck in a room not even on the site. I was looking for a romantic get away for 2 days and we got...the smallest cheapest room. We asked for an upgrade...it wasn't comfortable at all...it was smaller.
the stuff was nice and kind' helping with information needed breakfast was good although lacking of veggies of any kind
If I have known that the hotel was so far situated from Messina, I would not have choosen it. My gps refused the nr 1965 in messina, and I had to ask many times some peope before I found the hotel
despite advertisement, no wireless internet access available,
Overall a nice hotel think best is in summer time , verry nice garden reception and quite nice personal
Very nice Hotel, clean rooms, very nice pool and spa, pleasant staff, However you need to pay extra for the use of the Pool and Spa not mentioned in Web site or by staff until checkout. This is a bummer as you get charged hefty sums. This pissed us off, Beware.... However you need to pay extra for the use of the Pool and Spa not mentioned in Web site or by staff until checkout. Pleasant staff , good service , parking , some rooms are really nice lack of a common use computer for travelers ... most other hotels had one on my trip
Very friendly staff with some English spoken. No Restaurant in building but arrangement with good establishments very close to Hotel.
Convenient to Messina ferry, Nice pool, Food average, Staff helpful, good value A little hard to find
Quiet room. Inexpensive restaurant. In an out of the way place, got lost trying to get back to it later in the day. Had to pay for internet which didn't work very well. Jacuzzi bathtub didn't work. View from the balcony was blocked by part of the building.
location breakfast was poor, especially if you choose to get up late
Great Hotel, Staff were great especially Valantio and Frank helped us out allot. Note Palmi transport isnt the best (calabria thing) these guys took care of us and got us to where we needed to be. Love Palmi, Love this place will come back again!
Very good and carefull stuff, clean and large room with air conditioning, rich breakfast and beautiful seaview.
In the bedroom 2 roach, cockroach, the room's furniture old, the safe not function, etc.
Nice clean hotel. The food at the restaurant was not so good. Nothing nearby.
Good location with view over seaside and even Mt. Etna in the distance. Good stopover before crossing the Messina street by ferry. Bathroom clumsy and bit shabby. Expected " Free private parking" as stated on booking.com but instead was pointed to a dark public parking in front of the hotel. Also, beware of mosquitoes that were abundant.
very good breakfast, really clean bathroom it is 4 star hotel but I can not imagine to stay there for the whole vacation, for one night it was ok
the hotel staff were not sevice minded.... newer this hotel agin!!!!!!!!
Amazing location in a very cute town, huge room with fantastic sea and town view and with a balcony, the whole hotel and the room was very clean, newly renovated, decorations are minimalistic and stylish. Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Good price and quality match. Breakfast was rather poor, only coffee and sweet cakes available. Noisy laundry personnel since 8.00 in the morning. Also, there was no warm blanket on the bed, only the thin bed cover, however, not a problem if the weather is warm.
Picture perfect. Location is great and hidden. We had a 14 yr old and a 10 year old with us and they loved it as well. A beautiful bed and breakfast. No complaints
Great location and great price. The breakfasts really needs improvement which consisted of pre-made coffee and sweet biscuits. No excuse for lack of fresh coffee in italy plus some selection of savoury items (eg bread, cheese, proscuitto, etc).
Nice view. Good staff. Clean room. And impressive circumstance atmosphere. Hotel staff helped us to carry the luggage though parking area was apart from the hotel.
mostly we liked the position of the hotel with an astonish view of see and mountains then the staff was very gentle and efficient keeping everything nice and clean. The breakfast was good especially for the children(except the coffee for the adults!!) the coffee!!
Close to our choices of places to see Advertised free wi-fi did not work on floors 3 and up and required us to use our laptop in the lobby at night.
