the bed was comfortable, breakfast was good.
TV very soft bed
This Hotel is a decent accommodation in a typical dutch tourist area for families or retired people.
Comfortable hotel in beautiful surroundings.
Nice, recently rennovated hotel Breakfest might be better, no tracking routes directly from the hotel
Location is good, close to plenty of interesting cities/villages and nature reserve Not a 4* hotel, neither the quality of service, breakfast or rooms are what you would expect from a 4* hotel, it is a 3* hotel. Sauna was still not available
Helpful and kindly staff.
cleanliness lack of fresh salads for breakfast; rather poor room accessories, at least according to American 4star standards
This hotel has no problem providing food for very different and difficult diets. They had no trouble making me a 3 course vegan dinner. The hotel is not easy to reach by public transport.
nice surroundings, good pool, very friendly staff
Friendly and helpful staff, good food, good location and wonderful warm swimming pool.
good Breakfast menu, facilities, lack of menus in English language.
The Bilderberg Hotel 't Speulderbos was in a very pretty location, and the public areas of the hotel were nicely decorated. The swimming pool was very pleasant. Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was impressive. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner as we found excellent food in the village, but it did look appealing. Our bathroom was not as clean as I would have expected, and overall I felt that the room and the bathroom were ready to be re-fitted. Internet access for laptops was very expensive.
A beautifull countryside nearby the hotel friendly hotelstaff, even a nice welcome for our dog. best bilderberg we have been in, but as in most hotels the food is not what one expects. not only pricewise but also not all selfmade.
The setting next to the village and the country walks
swimming pool almost empty, sauna was cool, tabletennis, nice location close to the wood, area is really quiet nice breakfeast, nice tapas restaurant no specific menu for the room service, they stop room service very early 9:30 PM The TV in the room looks like in a 1 star hotel.
lovely forested setting near Het Loo, good service, and the best breakfast I've had in Holland.
Restaurant outside, breakfast, room, staff Swimming pool very small, no air conditioning in the room
Good food and good service by very nice staff.
Restaurant and its staff, room size, nice location in the forest. In week days only one person on a reception serving all guest of the hotel, you're unlucky if you want roomservice and receptionist checks-in a group of visitors. Pretty old furniture and old-fasioned design. Poor sound isolation of the room.
Pleasant surroundings and comfortable room and facilities.
Quiet surroundings, very friendly staff, large rooms, very clean Rather small bathroom, smoking allowed in hotel bar without non-smokers area, mini-bar prices to high, non fresh fruitjuice with breakfeast, non-attractive fitness and pool area, not enough tourist information in hotel lobby (somme maps would be appropriate), awfull carpet on the floor. The question about guest reviews is not relevant: I didn't succeed to get this information before booking
lovely big spacious room, lovely smell of flowers throughout the hotel. great selection at the breakfast.grand cafe was lovely. can't say there was anything i did'nt like, but i would have prefered a double bed to two single beds.
The rooms are bright and spacious
great location, excellent breakfast very small swimming pool, no free sauna facilities, heating system malfunctioning
great spot no minibar?? very odd!
Great quiet location, in park setting with good spa and restaurants. Excellent breakfast.
Spacious room, nicely decorated, great range of breakfast nothing
The hotel was clean and although they are redecorating we had no disruption to our stay. Ours was one of the newly decorated rooms and had no faults whatsoever. The food was good and the hotel is within walking distance of the towns restaurants and shops if you wanted a change. They even lend you a laptop if you forget yours. Only one member of staff was off with us - not rude just not as friendly or as helpful as the others.
Overall very nice hotel, great location, good facilities. Airco in room too noisy, sounded like an airplane engine. Also in such hotel that they charge you for Internet is ridicolous: 13 euros for 24hs! Its like they charge you for the use of electricity, gas and water.
This is a great place to relax and get away from city life. Harderwijk is only 1 bus trip away and you can then visit the Dolfinarium You actually need a car to have the freedom of getting around
I liked the location. It is just next to the Veluwe. The staff was very friendly.
The pool, water temperature could be a little warmer though. Size of room okay as the beds. Place is very suitable for meetings and conferences. Not possible to switch on the jacuzzi yourself; switches itself between the two jacuzzis. Breakfast could offer bit more variety. The bar misses a place where you can sit more comfortable, instead of the bar and the games.
- good location, can reach the nature (i.e. forest) in a short distance (on foot or by car) - nice hotel room, clean -- good ventillation in the room, even with a ceiling fan - too warm inside the hotel (lobby, corridor, library etc) - in the room, the chairs cannot put under the table (because the legs of the chairs are too long or the table is too low) that consume a lot of space in the room.
beautiful grounds bed too soft
Nice place for Dutch standards. Well finished rooms. Nice landscaping. Nice restaurant. Plenty of bikes to get around next day. Service during dinner was veeeeeryyyy slow
Restaurant was great, good food and very nice staff - A real treat for our two oldest (5 & 8) - Superb views from rooms and restaurant Rooms are in need of refurbishment which I think is happening shortly
We liked everything. This hotel was the surprise of our trip. We didn't expect such a beautifull hotel and garden. Excellent restaurant. Everything was good.
Hotel staff was very friendly and correct. Breakfast was good quality. Rooms had everything needed but looked a little out dated.
Absolutely beautiful position in woodland, lovely terrace to sit outside. No double beds - just singles put together - but that was the only bad point
It was so relaxing it was wonderful
This is a comfortable room at a good price. Excellent breakfast. WiFi in the room was well appreiated. There is no place to turn ones car around easily at reception. Dragging suitcases on loose gravel for 50 meters was a slight inconvenience.
It was a pleasant relaxing experience with excellent facilities and value for money. Would not hesitate to return there
I really liked the terrace. When we booked the room breakfast was not included, at the time of check inn they told us it would be. The wireless internet was a real plus!
I had a spacious room and nice breakfast. The service in the restaurant was quite poor. I had no reaction on my remarks.
The beautiful and the quiet environment
Nice situation in calm, nice restaurant and bar, all rooms are on ground floor and they have terrase. Very recoomendable!!!
location in the woods, quiet. see ventilation comment above.
It is a pity that for customers who stay several nights in the hotel the choice of dishes on the menu card is a bit lumited. But dinners were delicious !
the seasight from my hotelroom and the peace
beautiful peaceful surroundings.
Good location, parking welcoming ease of booking in and departure. Room was a bit dated, beds uncomfortable.
The hotel is situated next to a sandbeach coast of the Veluwemeer with a playground. This was ideal for the family with small children we are. The temperature in the room was rather high (it was 30 degrees celcius outside). However, even though there was no (visible) airco, recommendations were not to open windows.
Beautiful and quiet location at 2 min from the motorway. Good food. High quality breakfast. Very clean surroundings. No significant change since Mercure group did sell the hotel to Postillion. Lampshade of room 140 needs to be changed !
Very nice surrounding. Nice view over the lake. The check-out time was much too long. I had to wait for 15 minutes. For business purposes too long.
Good location, excellent landscape, cosy hotel, fitness room you need a car or a taxi to get there
Easier to say that there were no bad points, very friendly & efficient staff, very clean & tidy N/A
A very good hotel but not really meant for Business Travellers. It's an excellent choice for holidays and relaxing. Unfortnately I didn't have time for this. I am ready to use it again if they provide good internet access. Nothing else to complain. Though they claim to have free internet at the lobby, it wasn't working. I tried the paid card but that also wasn't working well. The hotel staff was good enough to not charge for the card though I still used it for sometime.
The price in combination with the location Rooms are very basic. They could/should be dressed up a little more in order to create a somewhat warmer atmosphere
Pleasant Hotel No
It's beuatifully situated! The staff is so friendly that I would love to come back just because of that :) It is faaaaar away in the woods which will cost you about 30 Euros to go to and from the nearest train station. Some more signs along the way would be useful. The taxi driver lady at 01:00 in the morning almost didn't find it.
Peacefull place. Possibility to have very nice dinner on place. Very quite and nice environment (garden, forest, ...). Possibility to extend our stay
In the woods, very quiet Restaurent is closed at 8 pm
The surrounding is marvelous, nice forrest. Rent a bike was free.Very nice bar and good café :-) Staff speaks english very well Expensive Internet access. Less tourist information papers in english language.
Breakfast buffet was good. Otherwise nothing special.
location dull in the evening, noone in the bar, even staff coms from "somewhere" when needed.
A lovely quiet location in a beautiful wooded area within 10 miles of the E30 Junction 18, an ideal first stop en route from the Hook van Holland ferry. The restaurant fare is in our opinion below the standard expected of a hotel of this type. Fortunately other restaurants are accessible in the area.
Quiet and peacful
