Great value - hotel is relatively new and everything is in tip top condition.
This hotel is great value. It has a fridge in the large room and there's a supermarket and bakery opposite.
The hotel is in a quiet location but within a short drive to central Worms. The room was large and well equipped. The bed sheets were not completely clean, as there was a large amount of hair on one side of the bed.
Near to autoroute large clean rooms lovely restaurant
I had booked the room for my friends, a family with three children and they told me that they were very pleased with the hotel and the manager and personnel were very helpful and friendly.
Staff were really friendly and spoke good English. Room was spacious with large bathroom. Restaurant and food was very nice with views over grape vines.
Lovely traditional hotel, friendly staff, great location, lovely split level room with balcony
Wonderful look and wonderful food. We received excellent service after we found the desk clerk. Hard to find. Hotel desk staff difficult to locate.
Shoud be refreshed (the rooms)
The staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel provides many amenities for the price. It's location on the water is also nice. No lift.
The location How to get into the hotel after mid-night.
Friendly staff. Not a luxury hotel but comfortable accomodation with character and a good restaurant.
nothing very dirty, breakfast very poor...etc, etc.
is something to like at this hotel??? very, very dirty rooms with bad smel, in the bathroom you can find shampoo from a hotel of Tunis, hair conditioner from a French hotel, breakfast very simply and not suficient, we don`t have possibilities to drink a water after 10 p.m.
This is our third stay at the hotel. The owner, Herr Schaefer, goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and the restaurant prepares wonderful meals. It is a lovely setting on the river. There is free WiFi in the room. There is no lift.
problems are solved quick and easy. Very friendly staff during our weekend stay there were 3 weddings.!
The private underground parking was excellent and the breakfast was lovely with many different choices on offer.
24 hour reception staff, excellent breakfast.
We booked the "double room" on booking.com and got a very large room, more like a small appartment, with couches, table etc. Room was spotlessly clean. Location was fine, about 10 minutes walking to Worms center. Goog parking underneath the hotel. The description mentioned a sauna, which was closed due to reconstruction. Bathroom was quite basic and for example had no one person packages of shampoo, soap, etc.
close to the autobahn
The breakfast is very good, and the pillow and quilt are better than many 3-star hotels. This is a cooking corner inside thesecond wardrobe. some room on the street side are noisy.
This is the second time I have stayed at the Asgard Hotel (my partner has stayed there a lot more often) and yet again we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The staff are very friendly and their English is very good. The rooms are comfortable. There was a good choice at breakfast. Location is very good being on the outskirts of Worms. This year we had a room with a much smaller bathroom and the shower was a bit cramped.
Size and comfort of room Loctaion
Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Would have liked tea/coffee making facility in room.
The staff were helpful. The rooms were spacious and had nice views. The breakfast was good and started early. All in all, we had a really good stay. There was no kettle in the room.
We (me and my wife) appreciated very much the breakfast and the cleansiness and large side of the bedroom (provided also with a little kitchen) there is no free parking owned by the hotel
No A/C room was very hot even with windows open, no screens on windows to keep bugs out.
The location and friendliness of the staff
An excellent location in the center of Worms. Although the front entry is on a pedestrian street, the rear entrance is accessible by car and is close to the convenient (free) underground garage of the hotel. Don't be mislead by the appearance of the building on the outside, as on the inside the room (and the rest of the hotel) were very nice, new and pleasant.
Sight seeing in both Worms and Heidleberg
As I was in a wheelchair it was helpful to have a lift and an entrance with no steps. This was a major reason for choosing this hotel.
Friendliness of staff and their recommendation of a restaurant
Central location, good breakfast, though restaurant closed on Sat evening
Size of room was way above expectations. Good buffet breakfast. Location was central to sites. No driving was necessary.
Very nice Gasthof style hotel with spacious rooms and a great dining room. Very comfortable Bar area for singles and groups. Located on the edge of town next to a cycling path and farm garden patches. Close to the highway (thru Gau-Algesheim) for fast access to Mainz/Frankfurt airport = 30 mins. There is hotel directional signage upon entering the town, but an additional sign should be placed at the turnoff from the town's main road onto the sidestreet on which the hotel is located.
Hardly anything We chose it because it was in a country village and we hoped it would be quiet and peaceful, but it was not - plenty of noise from farm machinery, etc. When we arrived there was no member of staff to receive us, the place was deserted. At other times of day the front door was locked and all the staff went out. The staff were eccentric and made us feel uncomfortable. Poor car parking facilities.
The country side only. It is far away from any place I like to visit especially Fft and Wiesbaden. I need to have a car with me to drive to go anywhere.
The hotel is located in a very calm place with no noise. Contrary to what was written on the site when I booked, the hotel does not allow payment with VISA. They also tried to make me pay more than what was confirmed in the email. Finally I found the hotel really inappropriated for parents with children.
I especially like the location. You can walk anywhere in Worms from this hotel. It is not luxury, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is included in the fee and is a great way to start the day. I never had to eat lunch, which saved me money. This is the second time I have stayed at Kriemhilde and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. My room was on the inner courtyard side and a bit noisy from the kitchen in the mornings and evenings. That didn't bother me but it might bother someone who was a light sleeper.
The location is super, you overlook the Dom of St. Peter. They could use some black out curtains on the window. Breakfast was not available until 8 AM. Hot water for showers and sink was inconsistent.
staff, location no elevator
The hotel is in the very center of the city just two hundred meters from the cathedral.
Very helpful people is in charge. Enter to the hotel is through the restaurant which was surprising, but there was quite a good ambience and we dined there quite well at a reasonable price and nice quality for comfort food. There is no elevator to go to the rooms which was not a problem for us but might be for other people. Bed was not very large.
it was in the city lovely shopping center hope to come again
The position was outstanding. Right across the street from the tourist office and write next to the pedestrian mall. We found the lighting very depressing. Please use stronger bulbs.
Location, value for the money, staff, able to listen to the local church bells. Room faced the courtyard and the restaurant personnel sometimes made noise until around 10PM. The local church bells starting ringing at 7AM which may be a concern to some people.
The hotel staff was wonderful and I felt very welcome there. Two things. One, it was hard getting the suitcases up the stairs. Got through it so not that big of a deal. Two, I did not want to leave I liked it so much.
Central location right beside the Dom and with a pleasant terrace where food and drink can be served. Friendly and helpful staff who tried hard to overcome the language barrier. Would happily return.
The hotel is in a quiet location. The standard of the meals and variance were very good. A very pleasant hotel to stay in.
I like all place of the hotel. No, There was not any.
Pleasant staff, very clean and the wine selection, which was very good came predominantly from thier own winery. We were surprised that they produced red wine, and it was very good. The food was very salty
Very friendly, helpful staff; lovely room; great breakfast; gorgeous location; very relaxing break. Thankyou
Excellent Service and very accomodating staff.
The large room and the service when selecting and tasting wines. I had hoped the hotel would have been cozier.
frendly staff, wine shop in hotel - wine is the best need staff on reseption on sunday
they treat you like family
Very clean, very peaceful after a long drive, very helpful staff despite language barrier
Friendly and very helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, quiet athmosphere, large comfortable rooms, pretty garden
The care and friendliness of the staff was really good. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We also liked the quiet location very much. No - everything was great.
I normally stay in Wiesbaden when I come to town here but all of the hotels were booked. So this was all I could find. The next time I return to Wiesbaden I will intentionally book at this hotel. It is worth the drive at the end of the day. The personnel were friendly and the laid back atmosphere was wonderful. If you can't relax and get rest here you can't relax anywhere. The gardens were excellent but I didn't have time to enjoy them. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was great. It felt like home instead of a chain hotel. Much more personal. I would say that there is no bar or restaurant in the hotel. But then I discovered that just down the street was one of the best Italian restaurants that I have ever been to. And I have been to Italy numerous times.
Friendly hotel in a quiet environment. Spacious room. Bed and furniture reasonable-good. Nice (small) garden. Small indoor pool and sauna. Certainly not a 4 star hotel. Room and bathroom finishing are clearly do-it yourself and 2-3 star at the most. Curtains on a cable (emergency solution?) . Wall / ceiling decoration unfinished. Shower curtain came down and will come down again, unless better fixed. No elevator, only outside (!!) staircase to all 4 levels, absence of restaurant, dated breakfast room.
I most like the buffet breakfast and the decoration of the restaurant. I don't like too much stairs to my room. (specially in winter time)
Friendly and helpful staff
Good restaurant with friendly staff. OK for an overnight stop. Impersonal atmosphere. Isolated location.
The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were very good. They gave me a cart for my luggage. No electrical outlet near desk in room. Had to use my computer on bed. Lighting in room was very dim. It drove me crazy at night when I was trying to pack my big bag. They have a computer in the lobby but it is not connected to a printer. You have to send your printing job to their email address. The desk clerk doesn't receive it. Some other person in the hotel has to read it (not private) and then send it to the desk clerk. It takes more than an hour, if you are lucky. They do not have Office 2007, only earlier version. Can't print boarding passes because they require a direct link to a printer. Hall light switch was hard to find when getting off the elevator. IT and electrical need major improvements. Also, walls are thin between rooms.
Breakfast was great. The fact that internet was free only in the lobby. Should be free in the room.
Service was good Room was hot
Cleanliness, arrangements, Buffet, etc. A hotel in this category should offer a business center with intenet access for clients or at least a w-lan connection at the lobby. Thefefore "poor" in services / facilities
It was an old hotel that had been renovated some time ago and good value for money. The food servcie staff for dinner were great and gave good advice on food and wine. Only free internet in the foyer and bar - not in the rooms.
Free, convenient and easy car parking
The staff was helpful and able to answer my questions. I was disappointed that the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday.
This is a business hotel with its own, free, carpark and was very quiet the weekend we stayed there. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient. Our room was on the top floor and was enormous, I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel room which has its own lobby! No air-con, but a fan was provided. There was a pretty little terrace. The hotel was about 10 mins walk from the centre of Worms. No air-con.
Spacious room. Good parking. On the second day a visiting conference descended like locusts on the breakfast buffet so that by the time we arrived there was little choice & the dishes were not replenished.
the hotel no
The restaurant and bar staff were effecient and the quality of food was excellent. Over a pleasant experience. The breakfast could have some additional food items.
The hotel was easy to find. Our room was bright, clean and had a good view. The food was good and the staff were pleasant and helpful
Beautiful views and many patios and porches to sit and enjoy the scenery. Need to carry your backs up a fair amount of stairs.
The hotel is in a very pleasant location and easy to find from the motorway. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is good and the staff are friendly and helpful.
A relaxing location to stay with great scenery after a day's work with comfortable rooms which are spotlessly clean.
The hotel treated us well and the position close to the river was ideal for the purpose of the holiday which was to cycle. Station was very close and the village behind the hotel had nice places to eat and drink. It is close to the railway line and main road but that did not dsiturb us. The single room was small and basic and may not suit the less mobile. This is also true of the stairs.
Free WIFI but remember to ask for the SSID as it is not visible.
Location Hotel staff is very stuffy. Cancellation policy is not acceptable.
Rooms were very cozy and clean. Cost to add breakfast was quite high.
Roomy, well equipped, the most helpful staff with excellent English. Great view of the river (but we paid for that). Restaurant was very good food, great service, and priced a bit higher than expected. No elevator, no a/C. But we knew about the latter. Also, since the windows were open, there was a fair amount of traffic noise.
Position by the river Charged 15 euros extra for the room when the hotel was empty and also charged for parking when we were told parking was free. Also breakfast was not explained properly and we were charged for Buffet instead of Continental
Hotel staff were excellent, Restaurant food delicious. We did not mind the fact of the railway line being close by but the hooter that seemed be be blowing about every 20 mins or so all through the night did spoil our stay somewhat.
On the Rhine which was great location Generally felt neutral about experience. Hotel quirky...
