Large comfortable room with good facilities. Very young staff not up to 5* service levels
cleaness, comfort, pleasent environment, good location, design should be one person who is mmore informed about eventual problems considering interenet conections
We had very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was versatile and very tasty. Staff was gentile and ready to help in any kind of things.
This hotel had a relaxing atmosphere, which is what you actually need after a busy day at work. Almost everything was according to what you can expect from a brand new Hilton hotel. The breakfast can be improved.
Very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended. The breakfast was a little short.
Proffesionalism of the staff. Design of hotel corridors :)
hotel is clean and in good area for going about gdansk with plenty to do
Best showers ever. Free internet. Comfortable beds. Good bar. Central location. Breakfast good, but little variety:same every day. The reception area is probably the worst design I have ever seen in a hotel. Impossible to sit and relax, not to mention ugly decor. Bedroom seating very uncomfortable.
Please write at least 15 words The food was poor quality via room service
Good location, nice rooms, helpful staff. Renovation work, nothing was said before we booked. Bar was gone on our 2nd day!!!
It was very confortable and staff was very pleasent.
The reception staff were courteous and friendly, they spoke good English On several occaisions there was a bad smell from the toilet and sink.
Clean, room, location The cost of the reservation differed from the amount I have paid.
Breakfast price was somewhat on the expensive side
good breakfast, kind staff, good location, clean, good rooms, cheap nothing
Comfortable and convenience, located close to main station and old town
The friendliness and professional manner of the staff Nice comfortable room, the fact it was near Gdansk main station, good choice of food for breakfast.
convenient location , helpful and friendly staff .
I don't speak Polish but the reception and restaurant staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful and friendly. One even came to my room to explain how to operate the safe. The room was clean and well maintained and equipped. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent and very well presented. I stayed on a Saturday night and was horrified to find that an all-night disco was located just a few yards from my bedroom window. In the event, the double-glazing and air conditioning blocked out all the noise but I was woken about 3am. by the vibrations of the bass beat from the disco. Fortunately, I was able to get to sleep again but I think it might be best if guests were not put in that room on nights when the disco is operating, unless of course the hotel is full, which it was not on this occasion.
The location was excellent - close to railway station. I had arrived on a late flight so was glad to reach hotel safely and quickly. Everything fine.
The central situation close to the railway station, the airport bus and the centre of the city. I have no negative comments.
Excellent location (and for a good price): Almost at the bus stop from/to the airport (a 34 minute ride and 0.75 euros); Next door to a large multiplex-cinema; In front of the railway station; 5-10 minute walking to old town center. Very quiet rooms (facing the back); Two computers to use free (with a printer); very good breakfast. No decaf coffee at the coffeemaker in the room.
Very good and big breakfast buffet. Comfortable rooms. The hotel is located in the center of Gdansk close to the railway and bus station.
Overnight stay was purely for business and the hotel satisfied the requirement for a bed and sleep Restaurant - too crowded.
Central of the city near train station
The hotel is well designed, and in the center of the city. Excellent localization! Good conditions, well composed breakfast. The lack of the elevator. Some equipment lacks, e.g. the table lamp. The wi-fi was not delivered to the higher levels of the hotel. Misfunctional Sat-TV.
Artus is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Great location, nice and friendly staff, good breakfast - and the rooms are wonderful. I'm gonna stay there every time I visit Gdansk. The hotel didn't have maps to give out, and I found that a little odd.
The location and price can't be beat. The room was small but stylish and clean. The bathroom was sizable and modern. The included breakfast was in a cute botique restaraunt, rather than stuck in the lobby as happens at other hotels. Very good value for money. There is no elevator -- could be a factor for older guests or guests with more luggage.
Beautifully decorated, small and homely. Friendly and informative staff. Good food and value breakfast. Located on one of the main streets for restuarants. Across from the cathedral and next to the police station. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel. There is no lift. We stayed on the second floor so this was not a problem.
The rooms were new and well furnished. The staff was not very kind.
staff are very friendly. i have stayed there many times this year and they know you by name. and are most helpfull. nothing at all.
great location overlooking the river , quiet and close to the old city - all as stated on your web-site the decor was a bit dark and characterless
The hotel had a very nice view. You could sit hours in front of the window and just relax and enjoy the view. It is close to all sightseeing attractions in Gdansk. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.
General comfort Minimal English satelite TV
The hotel is in a great location. close to all shops, bars and resturants. staff couldn't have been more helpful
We liked hotel's location, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. We stayed one night only so it's impossible to comment.
centrally located, abundant breakfast, free parking, free wireless internet connection very poor view if you are not on the river side
location and cleanliness
Great location, very clean and comfortable, pleasant staff.
The location was fantastic, the food really nice and the staff very friendly and eager to help. All in all a very good weekend break and we would recommend the hotel and facilities every time.Well done Holland House.
Location, right in the centre of Old Town, Cleanliness of Hotel, Staff were helpful and their English was second to none, Decor of bedrooms was amazing and most important the price of room per night was great value for money..
The location is excellent (close to all the interesting parts of Gdansk within the city center / and still not noisy). The furniture in the rooms seems fairly new. The rooms are well equipped. We liked the wide variety of the breakfast buffet. The members of staff are friendly. To go into your hotel room you have to go through a nice large room which looks like a bar, but is a restaurant. If coming back to the hotel after 10 p.m.it is nearly impossible to have a drink at the bar. We could understand that they do not want to serve meals after 10, but why should not there be a person who can sell the guests at least a drink or two before midnight. One night they made an exception for us, but not for the next guests who asked.
The room was huge! The decor was extremely well chosen. The finish in the workmanship was just amazing. Well done. The door to the hotel was not separate from the restaurant. There were two doors on each corner of the entrance lobby which was the restaurant... One for the hotel and one for the restaurant. Both opened often but the one for the hotel (why it was there I don't know) didn't have a curtained lobby like the one for the restaurant so a blast of cold air shot straight in. Putting one on both would be the easiest solution. Fantastic location. Stunning little hotel. Food was great too. Fussy eaters shouldn't travel!!!
Spacious room, good breakfast, excellent location, friendly and helpful staff No air conditioning in bedroom
Location could not have been better, right on the main sqaure. The rooms were lovely, really big and really well decorated. Restaurant downstairs had good apple pie! A bit noisy from the corridor but not enough to keep us awake. Breakfast was cold but we were late...
Starting with the exquisite location the reception staff were very friendly, courteous and efficient. The room was really beautiful. I travel 150 days a year and really appreciate finding a gem like this in a city I imagined to be very industrial. Although the windows were closed there was a lot of late night noise from the street below.
it was a beautifully designed and furnished accomodation, with very friendly staff and good food. Perfect location in centre of Gdansk.
Highly comfortable, centraly located, excellent view on the central fairy tale-like square, a lot of pleasant touches on the interior and furniture. Friendly and helpful personnel, great breakfast. Very good value for money. Disliked nothing. Liked everything.
The decor of the bedrooms were especially good and the staff were friendly, efficient and took great trouble to get us adaptor plugs which we had forgotten. They offered us breakfast at 3.30am and we feel the service they gave us surpassed all expectations and we would like our thanks to be passed on to them. We would stay here again it represented wonderful value for money. It was a real gem of a find in the heart of Gdansk.
Generally comfortable and good value for money. Late night noise outside the hotel from young people in the street.
Comfortable bed Difficult to take a shower without getting everything in the bathroom wet
Good Location : There is easy access to several sight seeing spots and the rail station.
The room seemed very sweet and convenient; the staff were mostly helpful and agreeable and all spoke many languages well. Room not ready at 16.30 - had to carry my luggage around for 50 minutes - 'quiet' room turned out to be extremely noisy all night, owing to drunks outside in the street, fireworks and grand finale of Dominican Fair. 1 very small bin.
Nice for my friend was overbooking
Very nice hotel with special character. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious'Barszcz Mnisi'.Innternet in the room for FREE! The choice of breakfest should be much greater.
Nothing exciting, but quite good. Really corresponds to three stars level. I`m satisfied with everithing. I forgot my earphones in the room, but it isn`t still returned to me, or staff doesn`t inform me in some way.
everything was fantastic...the location; staff; beds;room.... There was nothing negative about this hotel
A good place. Near all important places in the old city. No need for transportation. I like very much the style of the Hotel. Small and Pleasent. No complaints.
The hotel was very new looking, I think they had only been open for a short while. It was a great place to stay, the staff was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast buffet was included, and had a good variety to choose from. 2 things - No A/C, and it was quite stuffy even with our windows open. Low cold water pressure in the shower was unable to be fixed while we were there.
Homelike and nice hotel Only one small 'minus' (in 'Comfort') comes from poor voice isolation between the rooms (between a room and corridor)
Rooms were clean and modern. Parking place on the backyard was a big plus as we traveled with a car. Breakfast was very good! Our room was relative small and it was quite noisy especially early in the morning when hotel staff started cleaning and their work. There were no trash can in our room (except a very small one in the toilet).
neighbourhood still a little dodgy but close to center
Tastefully furnished and clean hotel. Very good breakfast.Friendly staff. Good location. Quiet surroundings.
Excellent staff, who always was available to help with train times, taxi, addresses and more. Beautiful room overlooking the cathedral. Delicious and varied breakfast. No traffic noise. A hotel we would like to stay at again.
The Hotel is situated close to shoppingsenter, to famous places and restaurants in old town.
The immediate location is a bit offputting, but the proximity to the Stare Miasto is perfect. The rooms were comfortable and the decor very stylish. Breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant twice. We would certainly recommend the Aureus. It was very difficult to find as the name is not displayed anywhere. I realise the hotel is very new, but putting the name up is a priority! The reception staff were pleasant but not very forthcoming with the sort of practical information that's so useful when visiting a new town - what's on, boats and trains etc.
Excellent hotel in a good location, close to the river and the old town.
Excellent all round. I found it well apointed, decorated just to my taste - not fussy! - and with friendly and very helpful service. The free internet access was a bonus. I would have liked an English language news channel on the TV.
The room and the politeness of the staff. The food was good too. The beds were too soft for my personal liking.
Nice window to sit on and watch the lights and listen to the music playing along the river at nights. Location is right in the heart of the city and in a position that is also peaceful at night. Staff were very helpful. The rooms got a little hot one night. A fan or air-con would have been nice.
Quiet and nice area
Nice place to stay. Atractive location, close to historical part of the sity. To few different food in restaurant.
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful!!! Food in the restaurant is very good. The rooms are top clean with a good service. Would definitely go back and recommend to others. The best hotel i visit in Poland, and thankx to the staff for my Davidoff cup :-)
Hotel showed on map as just across the river from old town. Problem was no bridge to cross. 15 minute walk to old town. Not critical just information.
Walking distance to downtown. Great localization. Beautiful view. Excellent food.
Staff was very friendly. Rooms were large and very comfortable. Great view of Gdansk from across the river. It was about a 10 minute walk to the city center and is not in a pretty part of the town (across the river) but we felt safe walking there at night.
The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and modern. The food was good and reasonably priced. The Polish wedding on the Saturday night that went on until 4 in the morning
Very helpful staff and beautiful view from the room Although in the centre of Gdansk, it is a 10min walk around the marina to access the majority of sites.
