Located in Gedser, MejeriGaarden Bed and Breakfast is on the waterfront, within a 15-minute drive of Marielyst Beach and Sydstenen. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Guests may use a ferry terminal shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The facilities are decorated with sublime taste, everything is clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Definitively a gem. The breakfast is surprisingly varied given the size of the place, and well-made. We had coffee and cake at arrival and were pleasantly surprised by the quality. Similarly, the food and service in the restaurant was plentiful and tasted great. The wine choices for the autumn menu were okay, but perhaps the dessert wine was the weaker spot here. Could be just me. Our room was similarly a positive experience. Fine decor and the beds were quite good. All in all, would gladly visit again.
Cons: Nothing major. The sound proofing on the upper floor is perhaps a bit weak as we could clearly hear when people were talking in the hall, but as it's not a place with a lot of traffic, it didn't bother us.
Pros: The breakfast was very nice with home made pancakes. It may sound silly, but the coffee cups were especially pleasant to drink from, and the plain black coffee was delicious. The renovation and decor is well thought out. They have a Tesla destination charger in the courtyard which we could use for free.
Cons: The rooms are quite small, and the bathrooms are in the hallway. We did not have a problem with capacity, and they provide nice bath robes you can wear if you need to go in the middle of the night and are afraid of meeting strangers.
Pros: wonderful old house with great interior design. great owner!
Pros: Nice host, nice design of the house
Cons: Very very small room, shared bath room, Location somewhere outside
Pros: Meijerigården is a fantastic place, more like a 5 star hotel than a bed and breakfast. All spaces were really clean and beautiful. The breakfast and dinner were really good, best meals we had on our whole trip in Denmark. Actually, we enjoyed our stay that much, so we stayed for 2 nights. The guys who owned the place are really nice and funny. We would definitely stay here again!
Pros: Absolutely loved this place! Beautiful exterior and interior, cosy feel and ambiance, lovely gardens and setting, delicious home cooked meals and warm, heartfelt service. Quiet, relaxing place with lots of small cosy corners to sit in private. Felt like staying at our own private countryside estate. We had a room with a private bathroom but might as well have had one with shared bathroom, given that these were modern, spacious, spotless clean and you can use an entire one in full privacy. Note that the nearby beach is more of a small cliff and therefore not ideal for sunbathing and swimming. But there are beaches within driving/cycling distance.
Pros: Wonderful hosts who'll go out of their way to make you feel welcome, beautiful surroundings (near the sea where we experienced a lovely sunset) and the house itself is picture perfect. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. This house might be a bit further away from the main highway through Denmark, but it is absolutely worth the extra mile!
Pros: From the warm welcome at arrival to the wonderful breakfast: it was all a pleasure. Nicely styled room, good beds, very good restaurant. Small but beautiful. The owners are hospitality personified.
Pros: Owners were very friendly the property is stunning and they went out of their way to make us a late supper. Thank you so much for this
Cons: Pillow to think for my husband but great for me, very comfortable bed. Sharing bathrooms is a small negative.
Pros: All of it. Calm and relaxing site. Beautiful style inside. Great food and very attentive and caring staff. The blackbird sang for us
Located in Gedser, 20 km from Nykøbing Falster, Sunset Bed & Breakfast provides a garden and free WiFi. A buffet breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. A terrace can be found at Sunset Bed & Breakfast, along with a shared lounge.
Pros: The sunset view
Cons: The size of the bathroom/shower.
Pros: Jens - the owner - is a fantastic friendly landlord and service minded, over all expectations.
Cons: The bed could have been a little bit wider than 160 cm. Otherwise, everything was amazing during the stay.
Cons: The bed was a bit too soft.
Pros: Jens was super nice and allowed me to check-in quite late because I could only manage to take the last ferry.
Pros: Really enjoyed our stay here, Jens and his wife made us feel superwelcome and were great with our young kids. we had plenty of space for the 5 of us in the family unit and the sunsets were spectacular.
Pros: The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly! You could not ask for a more beautiful location. They took care of us like family and found us a place to stay at our next stop on the bike trail.
Cons: On the second day I was woken by the smell of cigarette outside the window and in the hallway, and it was there for the rest of the day
Pros: Great view and atmosphere.
Pros: It was amazing there. Jens was waiting for us in the night and was very nice. In the morning we got huge breakfast. We loved it there and we should definitely come back :)
Cons: We could have little bit bigger bed, but it was quite sufficient.
Pros: Package for breakfest due to early check-out to ferry-PERFECT!!Beauty nature and evening walk to sea..so romantic;-)
