convenient location for us, with a 4 bed room which suits families travel directions were poor
The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly
The room was a good size, not cramped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was excellent for the facilities. The wireless internet connection was not available in the rooms, only a small corner of the hotel.
quite, nice place near the mountains and roads to Marseille and Casis. The rooms with good new furniture. Breakfast, wifi, parking - are good.
staff and location near man routes if you are taller then 1m85 the beds may be to small
helpful and friendly staff beds were a bit small!
The hotel its easy to reach by highway but in a quiet area.
Day Receptionist excellent, helpful, polite, kind and very efficient. The night porter was bored, would rather be somewhere else and gave me the impression that he couldn't care less! The breakfast and lunch were of very good standard. The pool was clean and so were the rooms but the carpets are in need of replacement . Room was looking 'tired' and bathroom too but towels and bedding impeccably clean. We will be very happy to return to this hotel in the future as the staff in general were extremely helpful. Price/quality very good. See above
Everything. Superb value hotel. Nice rooms. Great air con. Fantastic restaurant. Pleasant staff. Good location. Everything excellent. Absolutely nothing at all.
Very Friendly staff Hotel is quite old and needs renewal
Reception staff was very helpfull, although I couldn`t book for one double bed and extra bed for my daughter with booking.com`s system They help us and changed the room. The room was comfortable and clean.
Nice place near the mountains, air condition works all time Not enough kitchen tools
The hotel is cheap, clean, and the staff was nice. It is not far from the sea (provided you have a car).
very good location (Cassis and Marsaille), very large room, it was just family appartament for the price of double room. Quiet district, very nice view to the mountains nearby. The personal was very kind and help to arrive after 23 pm. Wifi was good.
This is an apartment hotel with self-catering facilities. Generally, it was hard to criticise the hotel itself as the rooms were large, clean, utilitarian but everything worked, free parking and free wi-fi. The problem with the Residella is its location, situated in the middle of an industrial park surrounded by warehouses and roads. You feel isolated and frankly depressed as there are no shops, restaurants or indeed any other facilities nearby. A car is essential, the nearest town is 5 minutes away and the nearest Supermarket a 10 minute drive. We noticed that many of the other apartments were occupied by workers and what appeared to be permanent residents. This is a budget hotel, good value for money but not somewhere you would want to stay as part of a holiday.
The room is with a small kitchen which is very helpful if you want to avoid restaurant for all meals. Decoration is simple but nice. The Appart' hotel is a little bit in the middle of nowhere
Residella is situated in Gemenos, very close to Marseille and the Mediteranean Sea (15-20 minutes by car). Its appartments are very nice and comfortable. A coomercial centre is at 5 minutes in car and the people are very helpful. The parking is kind of small, which is an important disadvantage for an establishment where you can only get in car.
Clean, large apartment with airco.
The hotel address is inaccurate, we had a difficult time locating it even with a GPS. Also the hotel staff does not speak English.
Visited Cassis and Marseille. Great hotel if you have a car and want to save money on hotel and parking fees. Location could be a problem for certain people but was very convenient for us.
Very good breakfast, although this was additional to the room price. No, overall the hotel was fine. It is a little out of the centre of Aubagne and you may need to drive into town for an evening meal.
Excellent assistance from reception staff particularly Negeve and Benjamin. Option to have hot meal with wine served to the room. Tea/coffee making facilities provided. Away from town traffic and good access to D8 and thus to motorways. Short drive into Gemenos but at first got lost in factory land. Small group of hotels and restaurant situated together on an industrial estate but there are trees and a sight of mountains. Only disturbance was daily refuse collection noise (10 minutes) early each morning. Rooms have showers but none with bath.
It was closed to speedway, a good location to start trips. The hotel location is not so good. It is good if you need a business location, it is not so good if you need a temporary home for your family.
Bed (very big and confortable), room very clean
No hot water in the morning due to plumbing problem. Hair dryer didn't work. No door on shower, water everywhere, making floor slippery and dangerous. Drain smell in bathroom. Breakfast, no hot food ready, only 1 piece of cheese, 3 pieces of cooked meat and 1 yogurt left. No hot water in coffee machine. This was at 9.30 am in an empty breakfast room and breakfast is available until noon. Receptionist had to ask someone what time breakfast was served!
Nice hotel, really helpful staff, ... ... little out of civilization (true is that we were there out of season). We didn't find any bar arround :)
Nothing Staff was extremely rude
Easy access for a one night accomodation on the road of the French riviera. Quietness Smoking smell in the room
The lunch and dinner were very good, and very good value for money: the waiter was most obliging, choice varied and well cooked - we chose salmon and pork, plus salad landaise for lunch. The portions were generous and well balanced. Furniture needs to be updated. However, renovation was clearly underway. cf. point 2 above, the hotel is best suited for access to the congress centre and les Paluds light industrial zone.
Free Wi-Fi in the room. Only on the first day we had fresh breakfast, second day bread was hard and seemed to be from the day before.
Hotel new or just rennovated. it fits the purpose and with a good ration quality/price it was a bit chilly in the room. An extra blanket was recommended. The lights in the corridor didn't work. Few little details which may give a better impression of the hotel. Generally speaking still quite good
The room and bathroom was clean The location was in an industrial estate and there are no restuarants around for dinner and you cannot walk safely out at night. Very disappointed. Pool area was very average.
Excellent restaurant Small rooms
The nice swimming pool, the flexibility to addapt the menu for our little children The airconditioning was not sufficient and the garden is a mess
Inexpensive, not too far out of Marseille, near a wonderful farmer's market on weekend mornings and an excellent wood-fired pizza restaurant! Internet connection free buy annoying disconnects and ads every 15 mins. Fine for checking email though.
the matres and blankets feel sweaty. Please buy more natural fabric
Nice town No parking Late arrival, only French speaking night personnel.
clean central everything worked in the room
The reception staff were always very helpful Supervision of the room cleaning staff needs to be improved. It is a great pity that the the rooftop restaurant remains closed to hotel guests. The groundfloor restaurant does not have any atmosphere (or view).
family visit everything was OK
Staff are excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. Good location. Parking isn't free, took a while for one of our rooms to be ready at check in.
Very nice and clean hotel, staff was also very smiling and helpful. Large rooms for family. Situated very central in Aubagne, bus and train at 2 min.
position of hotel on market square ideal for our requirements
Helpful and kind staff, good position to visit the surrounding areas, seaside etc. Clean and tidy room. Free public parking in the area
the room was spacious enough with a small kitchinette and fridge unfortunatley the fridge and kitchinette where not working, ithink these would add more usefull nes to the room and should be swiched on / wired up. the decor was modern with a very comfortable double bed, the bathroom was small but very functional and came with free toiliteries. self catering appliances not installed and working. i could have used the fridge
We didn't stay long enough because it was in the wrong location for us from where it was advertised.
the strategic location (easy access to Marseille, Cassis and Aix en Provence) I'ts not that easy to find the hotel ; rooms are rather small
very helpfull and friendly staff rooms very small. So-called airconditioning not working.
Close to Aix and Marseille Staff seemed bothered to help. Rooms small and lacking charm.
easy access, free and good wifi connection, good quality/price ratio fro dinner the room lacked a chair and usage of the working desk was uncomfortable
Small room but comfortable, clean and functional, 11am checkout but they slowed us to extend to midday Not the most glamorous location but very convenient
the rooms looked very new and clean the breakfast wasn't too good
the staff were very nice and friendly the rooms were grotty and although we had an en suite shower we had to share a very grotty toilet with about 5 other rooms. the steps up to the rooms were treacherous- very hard to carry luggage up to room
Very friendly staff, easy to find, easy access to both Marseille and Cassis area, free parkingplace, romantic place (not at all like formule- 1 hotels). It's a good place to stay if you don't care too much for sterile environment and privacy. Bed gave back-ache, "free wifi" worked only for 5 minutes in 24 hours, shower was very, very small, only one toilet for 7 rooms.
close too freeway, Marseille, free parking, nice staff, home atmosphere
This hotel felt like you were staying somewhere from a 1950s movie but was cute and in a surprisingly good setting The staff were helpful and the hotel was excellent value for money. Having to use the toilet down the hall was the only negative.
