Lovely location within a gorgeous town. Paid extra for a garage which was good and secure. Staff very courteous and helpful. All round nice place to stay.
The staff and particularly the management were extremely helpful and friendly. Any request was dealt with immediately and efficiently. - Breakfast: all eggs etc were prepared fresh on demand.
The room was very large and comfortable and was quite elegant. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The receptionist, Elizabeth, was kind and understanding when we reported we had a slight accident which caused a red wine stain on the duvet! The hotel manager was very helpful when we had a problem with dialing out from the room's telephone. The buffet breakfast was great with good service and included eggs cooked to your liking.
we had a very large and clean family room, we loved everything about the hotel. The staff were helpful and courteous, breakfast was pleasant and relaxed and the hotel's restaurant was excellent. There's a lovely courtyard for sitting out and the town's shops are all within easy walking distance. Our room on the top floor was quite warm (flat roof, window shutters were down, we could open the windows but still) after a warm summer's day. There was no airco or fan.
This is just a wonderful family run hotel. Warm welcome. Attention to detail is more than obvious. The hotel and rooms are meticulous in all aspects. We ate at the hotel's restaurant and it is nothing less than a 1 star michelin in our opinion Fantastic. Also to be enjoyed is the wine shop in the hotel, which is owned by the owner's brother. We bought a bottle upon arrival and also enjoyed a really nice First Spring with our delicious meal. The bottom line: Quality/Price is fantastic.
It was difficult to check in at midnight
Very good value for money, nice staff, gourmet restaurant across the street I think that everything was pretty good, maybe only in the restaurant - they could have an English menu, too... and smile is nothing forbidden... nevertheless the meals were excellent!
Pretty well everything. The welcome was personal and helpful; the food was excellent, the room well appointed and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful. Nothing
Nice clean big room, excellent view from the terrace Not the best variety of food for breakfast. Although on the booking page was said that the total room price was 89 euros, in the end we were charged 5 euros per person for breakfast. This should have been stated more clearly in the booking process.
The service of the staff was simply outstanding, very accomodating. The breakfast offerings had been excellent too.
Beautiful location, very nice staff, very clean, calm, quiet.
Cleanliness, atmosphere, playground, breakfast, staff, .... were all excellent. Nothing
Good throughput and high signal for WLAN.
The hotel is very pleasent, with wonderful location, wonderful view, nice rooms, beautiful breakfast room, and perfect area. you realy feel like staying in a luxury hotel, with great atmosphere. The curtains in the room, were too small, so it didn't dark the room in a good way. they use to clean the rooms, only around 13:00-14:00, and the breakfast was good but not excellent.
unexplecated value for money and location also both evening and breakfast meals V good. music and outside noise from the U30 party on Sat/Sun
It is a lovely hotel in a lovely town in Germany...worth making the trip off the beaten path to Lohr am Main, Germany!!
The view from our room was great, the weather was very nice, the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Enjoyed the nature path with all the trees and shrubs labeled. Landscaping was nice, and lots of recreational things to do. Our bathroom was a little small. Would have liked a fan available as it was kinda hot during the day, and hard to sleep at night without air flow.
Lovely location, excellent quality room, friendly staff, and a good breakfast
Total package of convenient location near Wurzburg yet away from bustle of city, lovely ambiance, delightful restaurant, cheerful and helpful staff, and very good value!
An excellent conversion . A little dark, brighter lights are needed. Older people would find it a bit difficult to manage the stairs if they are on the second floor as there are no lifts.
The staff there are very passionate in their jobs which I really appreciate it.
All staff very friendly and very helpful, lovely hotel excellent food and value for money. Quite location, but good if you just want to relax. Thank you to all the staff for making this the best hotel we stayed at on our trip round Germany.
I liked the use of stone in the rooms- it is more attractive than hotels that try and make their interiors "modern". The staff members were very polite and friendly. The location by the river is lovely. Lots of private parking. Our dog loved it here. Breakfast is great. NO
I loved the whole atmosphere, the very beautiful decorations, flowers, wooden furniture, the courtyard with restaurant and wine cellar, the excellent food, the comfortable bed, big room, the bathroom, the wine, the friendly waiters in Bavarian dresses, the beautiful town of Erlabrunn... all! Nothing
the restaurant and breakfast are good the reception
A traditional and historic hotel with a perfect mix of ancient and modern. Friendly staff, excellent food, spacious well equipped rooms and a delightful setting next to the river in a very pretty town.
this hotel is full of character, are room had a 4 poster bed with loads of charm. nothing to complain about.
Friendly staff, location on the platz, great breakfasts and wonderful cafe, easy access to shops and the nicely kept historic village.
We enjoyed being on the market square. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! The only issue were the drunks that were making a loud ruckus until 4:00 am. (on the market square)
We have chosen this hotel just for one night as it was very convenient for our shopping in the nearby outlet village. But the wonderful meal at it's restaurant (and the beer!) made us return to the place on our way back home after a week's time. Alas, the hotel was full that evening but the owner found us another place to stay in no time at all. Of course, we had a meal with a few beers there.
Very quiet rural setting with the only sounds being that of the birds and the cattle The restaurant was not open requiring a drive into town. After 300 miles drive that was the last thing we wanted to do.
Friendly owners, safe parking, excellent food maybe a bit too 'rustic'
Excellent location, breakfast and the hotel staff remmebered the last time I stayed at the hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel out in the country of Germany. It was quiet and peaceful with a great country restaurant right next door. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
The restaurant part of the hotel was closed for holidays when we arrived. There was no personnel to welcome us, just a key on a piece of paper with or name on it. The room was small, the beds were too short. The first time I saw someone from the hotel was at breakfast, no one asked if we were satisfied with our stay. The breakfast was very average, but okay. The hotel is situated outside the town, about a 30 minute walk to the center of Marktheidenfeld. No one was there to welcome us..strange.
Room and hotel was 'tired' but beautiful quiet setting. The 'Suckling Pig' on Fri/sat/sun is not to be missed. Triple room was very small and 3rd bed was a camp bed
domestic atmosphere access from the restaurant to the rooms thorugh the courtyard
We are regular guests and feel at home. We stayed monday/tuesday; the restaurant was closed. A pitty, because the food and drinks are very good.
Just a gem in every way! Not a thing.
Very good old hotel built in 1648 in the historical center of the city, with perfect coffe-bakery on the corner. Key box for late guests on the enter is very useful.
Location, Atmosphere, friendly welcome No english channel on TV
Traditional hotel with good service.
