Hotel Riviera is the oldest hotel in Venado Tuerto. I traveled there with my sister to see the solar eclipse. The hotel was clean and had good facilities. The beds are just singles but they are comfortable. The rooms are clean. The water works in the bathroom, but in our room the "Hot" and "Cold" labels were backwards! You use actual keys to get into your room. Fire codes don't seem to be a thing; when you lock yourself inside know that you have to unlock yourself to get out. (This can be potentially scary when you have one key but multiple guests). I don't recommend using the elevator! You get an incredible value for your money. Breakfasts in Argentina are generally quite smaller than those in the United States, so only expect the standard fare of croissants, fruit salad, and ham & cheese slices that I got at all of the other hotels I stayed in while in Argentina. Venado Tuerto is deep in the countryside. You should not be expecting people there to have a command of English, including the hotel employees. Having at least a minimal level of Spanish-speaking proficiency is strongly recommended.
Parking is a major problem. I had to park on the street at least four blocks away from the hotel.
