Pros: Secure parking for motorcycle, well decorated, lovely cat, the use of the kitchen for tea or coffee etc. we had an evening meal, very good value for money. If passing that way again we would use without hesitation
Pros: We enjoyed our stay and meeting Spanish welcoming people. The owners made us lovely breakfasts, including fresh orange juice. They also had knowledge of places to walk. At night they had a gorgeous place to sit and chat amongst other visitors, really atmospheric!
Cons: The only thing we didn't like, was the windows had no net to prefect from flies/mosquitoes coming in. But on the last day, a company came to fit it in, so it's no longer a problem.

Pros: Family gave exceptional welcome and help with all sorts of things. Home made jam gift on leaving and frisuelos at breakfast. Beautiful setting with use of fridge and kitchen.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at La Pumarada de Limés! Ana is a really great host, she made sure we had everything we needed and she gave us great suggestions for trips. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with homemade marmelades, fruits, local pancakes and much more. The accommodation is very well prepared for hosting celiacs (and people with various food allergies), you will also get recommendations on where to go for lunch or dinner. A big plus is also a peaceful location with nice views. It was very helpful that Ana sent us a video how to arrive. We would definitely come back to stay there and enjoy more walks in the beautiful and secluded area of Fuentes del Narcea!
Pros: Ana, Marisa and Carlos were excellent hosts, welcoming, friendly, helpful and kind. The casa rural is situated in a beautiful location and is extremely well equipped. Excellent couple of nights spent in La Pumarada de Limés. We will be returning.
Pros: Cold beer as a welcome drink, fully equipped kitchen and living room, next day very elegant and tasty breakfast at landlady's house nearby and a jar of home made jam as a farewell gift. .

Pros: The breakfast was very good with a good selection of quality items. The breakfast room is quite warm though and was close to being uncomfortable. Also there were too few staff so the wait could be excessive.
Cons: It was a large room, typical of Paradors, so the sitting arrangements could have been improved. There were a couple of chairs but they were not the most comfortable. Also, the WiFi was quite slow.
Pros: Super facility , room first class and staff quite excellent
Cons: The restaurant staff were excellent but rushed off their feet , not enough of them. At dinner we found this made the experience less than perfect. Everything else food etc was great
Pros: It was a truly fabulous place to stay. I cannot recommend this fantastic hotel highly enough. Just go and stay there it’s wonderful in every way.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Rooms, staff, food, location.....all excellent.
Pros: Great place, great location, great staff, great dog
Pros: Our friends found this place last year by chance and it really is quite a find! Very quiet village setting with no other bars or restaurants in the vicinity so if you don't want to drive/ride you are stuck here to eat and drink - but that is no hardship at all as drinks are generous and cheap and the food is excellent. Nice outside space to sit and the company of Brandon the dog who is super friendly and delights in taking folks for a walk around the village! Our room was actually a 2 bedroom apartment (minus the kitchen) in a loft annex away from the main building, with its own lounge area, TV etc and exceptional value for money. Breakfast was the usual Spanish selection brought to the table - coffee, bread, cake etc, and plenty of it. Very friendly staff and locals, plenty of parking for our bikes - mixture of on site + street but such a quiet. secluded setting perfectly safe. Some great roads in the vicinity so would make a good base for exploring, but unfortunately we were there for only one night.
Cons: All good!
Pros: The staff are very friendly, speak english, if you need it. Food is very good. Plenty of parking. Views are very good. Large very friendly dog. Wifi Is work in progress as it has just been upgraded to fiber.
Cons: 30th and 31st Aug (last weekend) is the village Fiesta. Starts around 11pm and finishes around 6am. The cockerel and donkey had no chance of being heard that night. It does say Rural in the title, I should not have been surprised by the animal noises.
Pros: Great location, they remembered my wife,s gluten free requirements, food was excellent.
Cons: leaving to go home !!
Pros: Nice room. Young staff were very helpful and spoke perfect English. Bar and restaurant very good. Nice evening meal. Good atmosphere.
Cons: The man who served breakfast. Not very good attitude. Breakfast average and was disappointing compared to the evening meal.
Pros: Excellent food, room, dining room and staff. The 'menu' was incredible value.
Cons: 'Bathroom pack' including toothbrush was unnecessary and wasteful of plastic.
Pros: The hotel location was great. The hotel restaurant area was superb.

Pros: Peaceful village surrounded by mountains, forests and many paths to explore. And, pension has a lovely terrace with tables and chairs and use of a guest kitchen.
Pros: We were warmly welcomed and even though the room was not huge, it was comfortable, jacuzzi was simply great (especially with windows open). Chimney was just an extra touch that added to an already great stay.
Cons: wifi signal in our room, but we certainly did not go there for the wifi :)

Pros: Owners son was very good at making you feel at home. They went out of their way to get us into the Spa. Restaurant food was very good and they tried their best to English translate.

Pros: Warm room, comfortable bed and very good location for hikers. They spoke English at the reception. There is was a nice cozy common room for hanging out.
Cons: The place is also a bar at night, so people were hanging out under our window until 5 am and we couldn't sleep.
Pros: Everything else. Comfortable beds, owner allowed us to park our motorbike under the bedroom window very securely. Fantastic facilities incl pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc and nobody else there! Excellent restaurant buzzing with locals. Extremely good value for what you get. Very peaceful location on a quiet road.
Cons: Room had a fair few cobwebs in it but I suppose it was in keeping with the rustic nature of the place
Located in Comarca Vaqueira, Hotel Restaurante Casa Pipo is within a 10-minute drive of Río Narcea and Narcea. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: We returned to this hotel, after our first visit two years ago, because we had such good memories. We were not disappointed. The hotel itself has been maintained in an excellent condition and,in fact, improved, because the WiFi is now accessible in the bedrooms. The restaurant was as good as we remembered it.I ate the best slow cooked lamb and my husband as good a cabrito as he has eaten anywhere. We’ll be back!
Pros: the lady in charge was extremely helpful even moving suppertime an hour earlier for me. I had a good simple meal for a very small price. Breakfast started serving at 7.00 which suited me fine and was a good one. We both spoke broken versions of one another's language and managed fine.
Pros: Situated in the centre of Tuna - a lovely agricultural mountain village with traditional architecture. Walks of different degrees of difficulty within easy reach. The staff were extremely friendly and provided a delicious evening meal at a very reasonable price. The room was spacious and the beds extremely comfortable.
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to help.Location was stunning. Food was delicious. Fantastic place for anyone into mountain biking. Prices were very very reasonable.
Cons: Only slight issue was the bed was a little firm for our liking but easily resolved by putting the mattress from the bed settee on top!
Pros: The staff and food were great.
Cons: The restaurant was closed for the time we were there and there was nothing close by.
Pros: Being staying here for many years now, a proper Spanish hotel in a very good location for motorcycling.
Cons: Nothing but could be a little to quiet for some.
Pros: Spotlessly clean, great food and the owners couldn’t do enough for us. Even provided a packed lunch for the following days riding in the Picos
Pros: Parking for motorcycles out the front of the hotel, great value tasty food in the restaurant and a free picnic to send you on your way
Pros: Excellent hotel set in stunning surroundings with very clean rooms and it has a lift to ease the luggage to the rooms. Nice bar attached with a restaurant which serves some of the best set menus I have had in Spain. That was my 6th visit and will try and return as soon as I can. The host was very helpful and did his best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
Pros: Good breakfast, great owners. We got great advice where to go with the motorcycle and received a free little lunch for our trip, one of the owners is a biker as well. A very good experience!

Pros: We arrived and felt right at home. the lovely lady who works there greeted us, gave us a quick tour and later showed me how to use the kitchen appliances - it was really helpful in our stay there. The room was nice and quiet, comfortable bed The hotel seems renovated. nice design and facilities
Cons: The room was a bit small but it didn't really bother us
Pros: This place was really nice and the owner could not do enough for us. The views in this village are great and it was lovely and quite.
Pros: Recently refurbished hotel, very comfortable. Has nice sitting room. Good breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice. Owner very helpful- he let us store our bikes downstairs and use the fridge.
Cons: It’s all good!
Pros: Spacious, clean, comfortable room. Stylish lounge downstairs and access to fridge and tea and coffee. Super friendly and helpful hosts.
Cons: The breakfast was juice, coffee and cakes/breads. Very typical for Spain but not our taste! However the hosts were happy for us to keep yogurt and fruit in the fridge so that helped!
Pros: The location is superb, easy to find, really well appointment inside and outside. The property was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Access was no issue, parking out front was fine. The staff were very friendly and welcoming even though we struggled to converse due to the limited Spanish we had.
Cons: During our stay the linked restaurant was closed for return which was disappointing. The breakfast was poor in our opinion as was limited to toast and cake only - however the fresh juice and coffee were well received. The amenities inside the room used non recycle plastic - plastic glasses for water. It would be nice to see a more active eco friendly approach given the surroundings. No facilities for hot water available for filing flasks for hiking - no bar in hotel for drinks or coffee (likely due to the refurb). We would recommend facilities for tea and coffee are available to guests throughout the day.

Located in Cangas de Narcea, Hotel Rural La Pista is within a 15-minute drive of Muniellos Nature Reserve and Playa fluvial de Llano. Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Room very clean and comfortable. Convenient location. Excellent view of the starry night through the roof window.
Cons: Our lack of Spanish seemed to cause significant problems. Suspect this caused much frustration for the owner. Booked for one night but considered staying for two. Could not understand why it was necessary to decide on number of nights on arrival - we appeared to be the only people staying. The food was quite good but difficult to know what to expect from the menu. Probably not a problem for those familiar with traditional, rural menus. Had difficulty using UK plug adaptor in room. Seemed surprising that breakfast was not included.

A beautiful little hotel suronded by mountains, lovley flowers in the garden, not far from centrum, were there was different places to go for dinner. They served breakfast at the hotel, really good. We will be back for sure, next time we are visiting this area.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at L'Ablama. Although it's just outside of Somiedo it has the advantage of wonderful views all around and is beautifully quiet even though it's on the main road (you wouldn't notice). Our host was really helpful and absolutely made our stay (we were taking my 91 year old mother on a much longed for trip to see the mountains) by helping us to arrange a special trip to see the lakes. It was the highlight of our holiday and we were very grateful. He also gave us great recommendations for eating! A wonderful visit.

Pros: Nice mountain view from the window.
Cons: Expected rooms to be simple but a lick of paint wouldnt go a miss.
Pros: Cesar is absolutely wonderful! So helpful with all my needs and answered all my question! Definitely the best host I ever had! The room is nice and clean, the location is great, the Wi Fi is good, and there are washer and dryer on site !
Pros: Good beds, good location.
Cons: Lots of noise during first night from other guests, no water for 2 hours on second day, leaking heating, shower not functioning.
Pros: The room was very clean and the shower hot. The owners very friendly
Cons: The breakfast could have had fresh bread or croissant but it was only 3 euros so we cannot complain. The towels were changed every day, the used soap disposed of and the bin emptied, this was seemingly very conscientious but not very environmental, as we really didn't need clean towels, new soap or a new plastic bag in our bin every day!
Pros: Breakfast was fine, location amazing, full of suprises including bears .
Cons: All good, just a little cramped in the rooms, but not a problem.
Pros: Our room was very clean and had a fantastic view from the window. The location was perfect.
Pros: Very friendly staff, great view from the bedroom, very short scenic walk to the center, great experience

Pros: Heating was excellent, beds comfortable and breakfast very good.
